When we decided that we would love to have a family of our own, one of the big things was to make sure we had good support around us. We cannot emphasise enough how much of a great team they all are at Little Monkeys Day Nursery. The way they all communicate, care for the children and how they are with us as parents is really exceptional. They have all been there when it matters the most and we really want to acknowledge that. Sometimes life just throws curve balls and needs people to think outside of what is normal and every time this has happened they have all been there to help. A real extended family. We will often have conversations about the team with our child and they have a lot of genuine warm feelings towards them all. A big thank you to all of you, for quite simply - being you!

I cannot even describe how incredible this nursery is. My daughter recently left to start school and has been at the setting since she was 11 months old. The setting itself is amazing, but what makes the place is the staff, including all of the management. They create so much fun for the children but also love and care for them exactly how you would want your pride and joy to be. My daughter had the best time over her time here but always struggled with drop-offs when she moved up to a new room. All the staff were so good at making her feel comfortable and it wasn't long before she would waltz in the door to start her day very happy! Thank you Little Monkeys for helping shape our daughter into the confident and kind person she is today, we adore you all. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again when our son starts later on in the year.

Our daughter flourished while she was at Little Monkeys and she was very well looked after. We can't praise the staff enough. They all helped in getting my child ready to start big school. We would like to give a special mention to ten members of staff in particular and all the others who made my child's time at Little Monkeys very special. Wonderful seeing her grow and develop through your care.

Definitely recommend! Every staff member is so friendly, warm and supportive. Great facilities through the ages, especially with the recent renovations. Also, the children are taken out nearly every day for different walks and little adventures. Food is balanced and varied too. My child loved coming here and we were sad to leave!

My daughter has just left as she is starting school this week but started the nursery and bush babies and has moved up through all the rooms. The staff are brilliant always full of energy and creating new things for the children to do each day. My daughter loved all of the staff and was always excited to go and formed real bonds with all of the staff. We will miss everyone at Little Monkeys! Thank you for all that you do!

My child is currently in Bush Babies and he loves it, he goes in smiling and waving at me and comes out the same! The children are often taken out to the park and the town and do lots of varied activities. He eats and sleeps well and we are very happy with the updates via the app so we can see what he's been up to. All the staff are lovely and genuinely care for and about the children. Highly recommended!

My daughter loves the nursery, my issue is with the corporation that bought this nursery last year and made unfair and uneven adjustments to the fees throughout the age groups. When they changed the prices in December 2023, I was made aware by other parents that if your child had turned 3 by December 2023, they paid 130 pounds (standard price) less than a child who turned 3 from January 2024. They circulated 3 different fees, all of which stated that the fees were standardized to all children from 0-5. Basically, a child who turned 3 by 2023 had one set of fees. A child that hadn't turned 3 by December 2023 was subjected to a higher charge. There was also a different set of fees for children who were to start at the nursery. This is a disappointment on how a corporate takes unfair and uneven changes on a technicality such as turning 3 by Dec 2023. My child will be paying more for the same services than those lucky children born by Dec 2023 will have.

Two happy boys, one in bush babies and one in cheeky chimps. All the staff are fantastic, very caring and they develop such special bonds. It’s great to see all the activities they get up to via the app, and the regular progress reviews are really detailed and give you great insight. Can’t fault the team, well done!

My daughter has been attending Little Monkeys since she was 18 months, first in the Cheeky Chimps room and then she moved up to Groovy Gorillas. She has absolutely loved her time at Little Monkeys, from the first day she arrived, and I would not hesitate to recommend it as a day nursery for any working parent! The staff here are enthusiastic, energetic and engaged, they really care for the children and get to know them and their interests. The activities and tasks they do always look super fun (and messy), my daughter loves them! Plus it's great how they take the children out for walks in the park or town so they can run off some energy (not all nurseries in the area offer this) and learn about nature and the world around them. The food choices are varied, the support you get from the staff is great - overall a fantastic nursery!

Great nursery! We have two here now and they are both always so happy to go in and see the staff and their friends. Their key workers are both amazing and you can tell they really care about the kid's happiness and their development too. They eat better than I do, the food options are so varied and sound yummy.

Our little one has been going to little monkeys since they were 18 months old and are about to graduate to school. They've been in 3 rooms in the setting and we've had lots of support with their additional needs. They were fab supporting us with the hard-to-crack things like toilet training and dressing. The team there are all lovely and go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy and well cared for. We are certainly going to miss our little monkey family when we move up to school.

As we are coming to the end of our daughters time in tbe bush babies, we couldn’t have asked for better care and love for our daughter. Little Monkeys Day Nursery provide an amazing environment for her to develop and feel comfortable. Thank you for everything bush babies team!

My second child is about to graduate from Little Monkeys Day Nursery and it is so sad to say goodbye to an amazing nursery. Both of my girls have loved their time here and made some amazing memories and lifelong friends!

Since starting at Little Monkeys Day Nursery my daughter has really progressed socially, physically and academically! She always comes home with a big smile on her face and loves all of the staff! I couldn’t have picked a better nursery!

Both my children have been to Little Monkeys Day Nursery. My oldest one is now finishing reception but still remembers going to there and mentions the staff with great regard and joy. My youngest is still there and she always points at her “big school” with pride and joy whenever we are passing by. She bonded very quickly with her key worker and deeply loves her. In the morning always greets her with a big smile and lots of cuddles showing genuine happiness to see her. She is now also part of the family. I particularly like their outings that can take the children to explore the town centre, the library or the park. They have a small garden but a huge park nearby and make use of it regularly. I really only have positive things to say about Little Monkeys as both my children always have been very well taken care off and are safe, which are the most important priorities for me. So thank you everyone at Little Monkeys for your support to my family for the past two and a half years!

Every time I come to pick up my Granddaughter, I'm greeted with the same friendliness and happy faces from the staff. My granddaughter is always in a lovely calm mood too, which makes the rest of our day more fun. She couldn't be in better hands.

My daughter (1) and son (3) both go to Little Monkeys Day Nursery and have both love it there. My daughter's connection with her keyworker is amazing and reassuring to have, and my son thrives in the class he is in. Each day there are new activities they do that help support their development. We are kept up to date with the app and can respond very closely in real time. It is wonderful to see what they are up to and have pictures/memories to see of their day. We are encouraged to share activities we do at home or things they want to try and the team will work to incorporate it into their themed activities for the month. Food menus are given ahead of time and parents can share any menu ideas. They both eat so well that I get a little jealous. There are two small outdoor spaces, but the best thing is the walks the children have, rain or shine. Right next to the park or into town to see the buses, both mine love it. A fantastic place that encourages friendships, independence and fun learning. 100% recommend.

A child focused nursery with dedicated staff. My daughter has been there since she was 8 months old and she has thrived due to the care of the staff here. It is a stable and consistent staff team with good leadership. There are so many fun and thoughtful activities and no day seems to be the same. There is a commitment to learning and being school ready without pressure. These include the opportunity to learn languages, regular trips and messy play. Any issues I have raised (which have always been minor) have been addressed quickly (often the same day) with compassion and respect. We are sad to be leaving for school this year but ready thanks to this fabulous nursery.

Both of my daughters attend Little Monkeys and I am over the moon with how settled and happy they are there. The staff are all really helpful and seem to really learn the children’s personalities and ensure their interests are available for them to play with. Both of my daughters have outstanding key workers and their room leaders are brilliant too. One of my daughters has a severe allergy and the nursery have been absolutely fantastic at managing that. As a parent of a child with a severe allergy full trust that all staff in the placement are aware of how severe it is and how they can all handle/support an anaphylactic shock is extremely important to us. I have always found the nursery staff to be very approachable and all give a detailed handover at pick up. Thank you for being the best everyone!

A wonderfully friendly nursery that really values each individual child. My 2 children absolutely love going to nursery every day and have built solid relationships with every member of staff. The children are well cared for in a safe and interactive environment and the team make use of outdoor space and the local area to build learning through play. Can't fault the care given to my children. Thank you team!

Great nursery! We have two here now and they are both always so happy to go in and see the staff and their friends.
