Our child has been with The Nursery School since September 2023. All the staff care so deeply about him. They encourage him to learn with patience, comfort him when he is sad and bring him so much joy. He loves them so much that every morning when he enters the Nursery, he does so with the biggest smile on his face. That's the telltale sign that he loves the place and the people in it.

The nursery school has been amazing with us as a family. They made the transition of me going back to work so much easier as I knew my daughter had the support and comfort she needed. It's also great how they keep us up to date with all her activities through the app and I look forward to the updates throughout the day. Can't recommend them enough.

Outstanding nursery with exceptional staff and a fantastic forest school program. We couldn't be happier with the nursery our two children attend. We have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old and they both absolutely love it at The Nursery School Charlwood. The team here is incredibly friendly, approachable, and truly invested in the well-being and development of each child. One of the standout features for us is the forest school program. The opportunity for our children to explore the natural world, engage in outdoor play, and develop a sense of adventure and curiosity is invaluable. The facilities are great and the daily updates on the app are amazing and always up to date, we are simply happy that we have found this place for our children.

My daughter attended the forest school holiday club, she had the best time. I would highly recommend this for adventurous children who love being outside. It is a great opportunity to understand the outdoor environment and nature at its best, this includes having lots of fun in the woodlands. She is very keen to come again in October.

My little one has been coming here since 2023 and absolutely loves it. The staff are lovely and the settings outdoor areas are unparalleled. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone who is considering sending their child to a nursery.

My child attends this nursery 5 days a week. We have been nothing but happy with the care, support and help with developing our child's speech and physical skills. They are all very friendly and nothing is ever a problem. The house its self is beautiful exterior, with modern clean facilities throughout. The garden space is fantastic and really promotes independence and learning. We feel lucky that there is a forest school attached and that my child gets to mix the most of that too. For me personally they excel in everything they do. There has been times where my little one has been emotional with other children being picked up- and there is always a staff member supporting him.

We couldn't be happier with our experience! The caring and attentive staff have created a warm, nurturing environment where our 3-year-old thrives. The variety of activities keeps him constantly engaged and stimulated - from football on Fridays to arts and crafts and exciting events like visits from reptiles! We also love staying connected through the app, where updates and milestones are posted regularly. Thank you for all you do to make this crucial time meaningful for our little one!

Excellent nursery with outstanding facilities and care. My son has been there since he was 8 months old and is now nearly 2. The staff have brilliant bonds with the children in their care and do so much with them. They do activities every day and have lots of sensory play. They have a varied menu, three meals per day and snacks, as well as nappies and wipes being provided. My son genuinely looks forward to going in and I can go to work knowing he's happy and looked after. All of the staff including management are friendly and approachable.

I'm so impressed with the staff and setup at The Nursery School Charlwood. My child is obviously in a calm and nurturing environment. We get regular updates and any issues or messages are always dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Every day I go into the nursery, everyone always has smiles on their faces. The balance of activities my son does: creative, outdoor or social or from an outside agency are carefully planned and enjoyed. The meal choices are nutritious and fresh fruit is always available. He comes home so happy and fulfilled. I would highly recommend sending a child here.

My children have both attended the nursery since they were babies and really love it. The staff are amazing. Helping to manage dietary requirements and taking care of their individual needs. Days out for the older children and lots of time in the garden which they love.

Our son started here in January. The nursery have been so welcoming and the staff are all lovely. He has been very unwell and missed a lot of nursery but they always check in and make sure he is ok. He is always welcomed back with a big smile and friendly face. He comes home really happy and has learnt a lot of new skills in a short space of time. The outside facilities are amazing. This nursery and the team have so much to offer. We are really happy with the decision we made to send our child here.

All the staff here always go above and beyond for my daughter, she has come on leaps and bounds and loves running up the path to enjoy her day. We always get an update of her day from what she's done and how well she has eaten. Our daughter especially enjoys the day she gets picked to be class helper for the day and raves on about this when she is home and insists on wearing it around the house as well. I would always recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Charlwood House Day Nursery since September 2020. The staff have been amazing. Whilst my working pattern has been constantly changing due to furlough over the past few months, the manager has been really flexible and understanding with short notice changes to his attendance. Since returning in January, my son has been happy and smiling at drop off and when I collect him. He eats really well, and the staff in Bumblebees have been helpful with his recent change in routine which helps us out at home. I can happily recommend the nursery for anyone wishing their child to be looked after in a home away from home setting. I can also recommend their holiday club which my daughter has attended and thoroughly enjoys.

I moved my 4-year-old daughter here after choosing to take her out of a different preschool. Charlwood House Day Nursery were so understanding of my concerns, having had so many issues with her previous preschool, and they really put me at ease. However, I need not have worried as my daughter settled immediately and told me she liked her new nursery and teachers more than her previous setting. Staff reported my daughter was so happy and confident and it was as if she had been there for months. I feel very relaxed and happy about leaving my child at Charlwood House as they take such good care of her. Staff are very warm, genuine and caring, but also extremely professional. My only regret is that I did not move my daughter to Charlwood House sooner as she is so happy there.

Our daughter started Charlwood House Day Nursery in January 2020 and has transitioned so well. It’s always daunting leaving your child with ‘strangers’ as she was only just 1 when she started. She eased in really well though, and even did so after lockdown when she returned in August 2020. She loves her key workers and has learnt their names. The activities that they do at the nursery are so good for her development, and are things that most parents don’t have time for at home so I love that she gets to do more there. She’s come on leaps and bounds and loves going there, and she even gets excited in the car! If I’ve ever had an issue, the nursery are there to answer any questions and support as much as they can. The staff are all lovely and so understanding. I cannot wait for our second to join also!

My son has been attending Charlwood House for a couple of years now and he has loved every minute. The staff are fantastic, friendly, caring and are always so understanding. My son has gone through a few changes in his home life and the staff have 110% been there for support and flexibility in his attendance. The setup and grounds of the nursery itself are lovely and secure and the cleanliness is superb. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone, it is definitely worth a look around.

My little girl started Charlwood back in January. First time going to nursery and we had a constant battle getting her to go most days she would be in tears all morning before having to go in the afternoon, from the minute she woke, she constantly said no nursery today. The week before lockdown in March, we cracked this, and she went in happy without crying, then lockdown happened, she was off for 6-7 months before returning in September. We were so worried about her returning as we thought we would be back to square one again, but this was not the case, we now have a newly transformed child, who runs into nursery waving us goodbye and when we pick her up she loves telling us about her day and what she has done. We could not have done this without the amazing staff at Charlwood. They have been our absolute rocks with settling her and we cannot thank them enough for all they have done. Even during the lockdown, they sent our daughter videos, which I think really encouraged her to remember them.

My son has attended Charlwood House Day nursery for just over a year now. Ever since the tour we came on we were made to feel welcome and everyone was very friendly. The staff go above and beyond to work alongside the parents to help the children progress to the best of their abilities. I would recommend Charlwood House to anybody who is trying to find a nursery. It was definitely the best choice we made for our little boy.

All three of my children have attended this wonderful nursery, as soon as we walked through the doors for the first time we instantly knew it was the right choice. So much care and time was taken to get to know us as a family and our oldest and youngest children have all flourished at Charlwood House. Although saddened to leave when it was time for each of them to start school, they were so ready having developed such confidence and all the skills needed to embark on this next chapter. All of our children loved spending time in the outdoors and exploring the extensive grounds making up games with their friends. They would run in so happy every day making it much easier to leave them to go on to work. If you are looking for a nursery that is like an extension of your own family then I would 100% recommend Charlwood House.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Charlwood House is. My daughter went there for nine months until she started school and now my son is also there. The staff make you feel as if you are part of a big family. Nothing is too much and they are always kind and thoughtful. Both of my children love Charlwood, to the point that they both have cried when I pick them up because they don’t want to leave. All of the activities they plan are thoroughly enjoyed and outdoor fun is fantastic here. Each time the children move up a class, you get a lovely pack of their work as a keepsake. Education is featured all the way through the nursery and I also feel that the preschool part of the nursery is especially great and the staff really helped prepare my daughter for school. My children and I absolutely love it here.
