Without this nursery I would be unable to work, the team enables me to leave my child knowing he is safe and having fun. I think as mums we deal with a lot of guilt with putting our children into childcare, it definitely makes me feel at ease and allows me to focus on work while I'm there. Staff is lovely. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We have had the best start possible with this nursery. Absolutely loving seeing our son grow here and getting to know the staff. It has felt very easy to feel settled and at home for all of us! We appreciate the care and support for our son that the staff have shown, and the creative fun they provide. The regular updates on the app really are really useful in keeping up to date with his day at nursery and phone/e-mail communication is always excellent!

My son loves going to Mama Bear's nursery Shirehampton. All staff is very friendly and have helped him get settled in and become more confident. He loves playing indoors with all the different toys and varied activities and going to the garden with his wellies. As parents, we really appreciate very much their excellent communication and frequent updates during the day.

We are really impressed with the nursery, this is our first child and first experience with a nursery. Everyone is great, the team get on really well with our child, and we feel that we have great communication from everyone working at the nursery. Really nice place for your child to go to nursery. They try to do a great range of activities and are keen to get the children outside to play, which we love.

Every single drop off/pick up is an absolute pleasure. Each member of staff takes the time, consideration, and patience to learn about the children in their care. My daughter loves attending the nursery and I’m safe in the knowledge she’s given the utmost care. I sincerely couldn’t imagine having my little one in any other nursery. All members of staff are truly passionate about what they do and I’ll always be grateful to them for helping my daughter come on the leaps and bounds she has since being there. You’re exactly what every nursery should be.

I chose this nursery due to my older child attending previously and I was super pleased then. And again, I am very satisfied with this nursery. All the staff is super friendly and I’ve never had any problems. It’s been smooth sailing for my daughter's 2 years here. My daughter enjoys the food, and the activities and likes the staff. She’s learned so much here and it’s completely helped with her confidence around other people. She enjoys telling me about her fun day on the way home.

My daughter has been attending for about 5 months now, and every day when she goes in, she is always so happy and excited to be there and sometimes doesn’t even say bye after running through the doors and it makes me feel much better knowing how happy she is there! in the short time she has been attending the nursery she has learned so much and has definitely become a lot more confident! The staff are so amazing and easy to talk to and really seem to care about the kids. We get updates throughout the day and always nice to see pictures uploaded on the app. My daughter loves going to nursery and this nursery was definitely the best one for her!

Have been using this nursery for several months now. He absolutely loves going and can’t wait to get in the door. The ladies always seem to be happy and enjoy their work. Lots of things for the children to do/play with including outside areas that they can access whatever the weather (provided you’ve given them coats/hats/wellies). Any admin questions are always dealt with very promptly. Really happy with the nursery, think being around other children and having that extra support with learning has helped with his confidence in a big way.

I was so nervous about putting him into nursery and returning to work but he’s been there 6 months now and he’s loving it! The team are fantastic with him and it is obvious they care about the children. We get updates throughout the day through the app, and they always give us a rundown of his day when we pick him up. We have noticed his development has been flying since he started. He is always happy when we pick him up and always sleeps well after a full day. Don’t think we could have picked a better nursery for our little one!

We’ve been attending Mama Bears with our now 4-year-old for 2 years. The staff are friendly and have built a great relationship with her. She always comes home telling us about the great things she’s done that day and the friends she’s met.

Excellent standards within the nursery, my son has come on leaps and bounds since starting here! I couldn’t recommend Mama Bears enough! The staff are amazing! My son comes out every day talking about the staff there and says every day he goes and that he has a great day! Since starting he’s excelled in his eating and talking and I seriously can’t thank these girls enough! I have gone from a child not wanting to go to nursery to a child asking every day to go! I am and will be forever grateful for the help and understanding of this nursery and I can’t wait to see what happens over the next couple of years well my child has his stay there!

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since June 2023 and has been happy there from the moment she started. She always looks forward to her nursery days and speaks positively of the members of staff. She enjoys the daily activities and is always so excited to tell us all about her day when she gets home. All members of staff are friendly and take good care of our daughter. The manager has always answered our queries quickly and does her best to accommodate the additional days we request. We are very happy with this nursery and will be sending our next child here.

Standards are very high, very clean, so much for the children to do and learn, my daughter before (who went to a child centre previously) wouldn’t leave me, didn’t eat, and wouldn’t eat much at home. Within 3 days of going to Mama Bears my daughter now leaves me with no issues, she eating and exploring different foods with confidence. Speech has come on leaps and bounds, great app to see what your child does, and when changing etc. You're involved in every step, like you are there. The staff are lovely, friendly, warm and welcoming every time. Great with the children. Great feedback at every pick-up on what your child has done. Great for working parents on timings. The staff are amazing I really can not fault them. So hardworking, wish I found them way before. Great facilities for all children's needs (my child needs to burn loads of energy) and there is so much to do, and the place is huge. Loads of different things to do as well as learn, this place is a must! Outstanding. Changed our lives for the better/family life too.

Get updates daily on ParentZone app of my child’s daily activities including their learning progress and their nutrition throughout the day. Have been a few occasions where my child has been refused through concern of illness but has been nothing wrong with them so it has meant having unpaid days off work. Very short notice of staff changes and very little flexibility around wrap around sessions in the evening meaning having to rely on family for collection some weeks. My child has been very happy since she was there at 7 months and has progressed very well with the help, encouragement and supervision from the friendly staff, including encouraging her slower physical development. She has made friends in her group and transitioned well into the bigger room. Location is convenient. Outside space is limited but I feel enough variety to keep my child interested.

The manager and her team run an absolutely fantastic nursery. They are incredibly caring and supportive but also provide our son with challenges and activities to develop his abilities and skills. Whenever there is an issue, they are always dealt with promptly and the staff go above and beyond. We are really pleased with Mama Bear's and would recommend the nursery to others.

My little girl loves her time at nursery and the ladies at Mama Bears are so helpful and lovely. She took a little while to settle in but the staff were really patient with her. It didn't take long for her to get into the swing of things and now she really enjoys herself. The updates on the app are really helpful, especially in terms of sleep/food and I love to see the little snapshots of her activities.

Mama Bear's Shirehampton is an amazing nursary. The staff are very friendly and my daughter adores them. If you're looking for a nursary for your child, I 100% recommend Mama Bear's. You can pick what hours you want your child to attend and staff will help you with the forms if you are not sure.

Oh my goodness where do I even begin? This is absolutely the best nursery for my daughter -the whole team are extremely amazing and so loving towards my daughter and to all the other children as well. My daughter started going here in January and she is currently non-verbal amongst other things and the nursery has done everything possible to make sure that all her needs are met and have supported her as best as possible to catch up with her peers. As a parent who works full time, I feel at ease taking my daughter to nursery every day because I know that she is well cared for - It's definitely a second home for her. I definitely recommend this nursery, nothing is too much to ask for these ladies and they have all gone above and beyond all my expectations and for that, I am truly grateful! Massive thanks to the Shirehampton team because everyone there has played a great role in one way or another in making sure that my daughter has the best experience and I'm one very happy mama.

The staff are so friendly and kind. My daughter really enjoys the activities and tells me if she has been painting or drawing. She often sings nursery rhymes on the way home that she must have learnt at Mama Bears. I feel happy that she is well cared for and the provision supports her development.

I think the nursery and staff are brilliant, they are kind, caring and attentive to my child's needs. All 3 of my children have attended Mama Bear's over the years and my eldest is now 15 years old, so I have a lot of experience with this nursery. My daughter comes home every day with something new she has learned. I couldn't be happier with the care they provide.
