We as a family absolutely love Mama Bear's Day Nursery Fortview! Our daughter has been there since she was ten months old and is now almost three. She has been in each of the rooms and has loved every moment in there! The kids have lots of activities to do in doors and outdoors, they interact with kids their own age as well as older and younger, and interact with all members of staff! My child eats all sorts of things due to a variety of different meals and snacks on the menu and is hitting all targets that she should be according to the government. I couldn't recommend Mama Bear's more to people.

My daughter attended this setting from 8 months old until she was almost three years. We were initially really happy with the care that my daughter received while she was in the baby room (low staffing ratio). However when she transitioned to the toddler room, we found that she would come home filthy and on occasion with a mystery scratch or two. It took almost a year for the nursery to replace the flooring in the baby room. When my crawling daughter would crawl on their floors she would come home with black socks and knees. They also charge £1.95 per hour for parents to use their childcare hours, which feels like a punishment for working parents and would have meant that if we wanted to use them we would have to pay more which is ridiculous. When confronted with the above the manager is defensive and made snidey comments which is a shame because all of the girls that work there are lovely! Especially four specific members of staff. We miss you! But not the grotty nursery.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Most amazing staff. My son loves them so much and never wants to leave them. Every day I get an update on what he was doing, eating and lots of photos as well. Highly recommend this place!

Our daughter has attended Mama Bear's since a small baby, she is always talking about her friends and adventures at nursery. The caregivers really give 110% and with it being a smaller setting, it is a real home from home for our little girl. Cannot recommend enough and do so whenever anyone asks for a nursery recommendation.

Can’t fault the nursery, it’s good and staff are brilliant. The only thing I will say is when they are allowed out in the garden after it’s been very wet my child comes home soaked and filthy with wet socks on that she’s had all most of the day, been times when I’ve asked if she could not go out in this weather and been told that she has to.

Our son started at Mama Bear's at 8 months old, the staff have been extremely supportive with his development and they cannot do enough to ensure his wellbeing. We always feel very reassured that he is getting the best care and he loves going there to interact with the other children. The staff understand that all children are different and go with his schedule which is what we wanted, and they are more than happy to be adaptable if things change. We are so pleased we picked Mama Bear's as our little boy has settled in so well.

Lovely nursery and the staff are so friendly. My little girl loves going every week. I would not want to send her anywhere else. She has made lots of new friends and enjoys going outside to play. I get regular updates through the app during the day.

The nursery staff are fabulous. Kind, caring and bend over backwards to cater for both my children. Very easy to talk to and take the time to let you know all the fun things the children get up to and how they have been during the day. My children always leave happy and enjoy telling me about their day.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My son has been attending since the age of 1 and is now 3 and a half years old and I can honestly say he has loved every minute of it. He loves the staff members, who are so caring and kind (they really do feel like family members to us). They are always doing wonderful activities with the children, my son has loved the recent activities of growing things. It was lovely to see the updates of the children gathering around the plant pots singing "you are my sunshine". We have been woken up in the mornings to him singing it from his bedroom....so adorable. I feel grateful to each and every one of the staff for everything they have done, they work so so hard and they are always so full of energy and greet us with such a warm smile every time. Thank you all again x

The staff know the children really well and are always friendly and professional. There is good communication between the nursery and home, so we always know what they’ve been up to. Our children really enjoy their time in the nursery!

Absolutely fantastic! Couldn’t ask for a better bunch to take care of my son. Communication is brilliant. My son is always happy to see the workers. Thanks to all the worker’s help he is now a thriving, confident lad.

Fantastic nursery. The team are welcoming, supportive and friendly. My son loves his days at nursery, particularly with the staff in the toddler room. Great range of activities. Amazing outdoor space. Staff have taken time to get to know him and adapt their approach to him eg waving from the window when he’s upset when I leave. Nothing seems too much trouble.

Absolutely fantastic nursery! Small and therefore personal. All the staff get to know the child well! My 3-year-old son is autistic and nonverbal and the staff are amazing with him. My son has come on so much since starting and mixing with the other children. He literally runs in with a massive grin on his face. My son has very complex needs and the staff have been fantastic at coping with meeting these. I do not worry when he is in their hands. Communication between the nursery and parents is very good, I get briefed on his day at the end of his session. Lovely outdoor space and this is used regularly! My boy is gluten and dairy free, and his diet is catered for. The manager - she is brilliant! Very friendly and approachable and has helped me with my son's SEND side of things, forms and paperwork where needed. I am an impressed Mum and would definitely recommend a viewing when considering nursery’s! No hesitation!

My 1 and 2-year-old girls attend Mama Bears and we think they’re all wonderful. The girls have always had a lovely day and are so happy when I collect them. The ladies there are all lovely and I know they will take the best care of my girls. The activities are good and they spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather allows, and they’re always doing arts and crafts and reading. The ladies will always do their best to accommodate anything we ask. Wouldn’t want to send my girls anywhere else! Thank you, ladies.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. I love the way all staff will talk to you when in the setting and help with anything that you may need. My daughter always comes home and says she’s had a good day and done loads of fun activities both inside and outside. I love the respect and communication they give towards both the child and parents.

Such an excellent setting. I feel like my son has developed so much here and is well-prepared for school next year. I really feel that the adults truly care about the children and their families. They go above and beyond when it comes to activities and really think this through with things like nativity being planned for a Saturday so working parents can attend. I can't thank all the staff enough for all the work they do and for supporting my son. Also, the manager who had been a massive support and real understanding of what families need has really shown as I am a military wife and sometimes need some flexibility which she always tries to accommodate if she can.

I have been nothing but thrilled with this nursery and all the wonderful staff! My child adores everyone there, as do I. They go above and beyond and help my child to learn new skills and have a wonderful experience in general. Cannot recommend them enough.

My daughter (18 months) loves attending Fortview and it is very clear that their staff care a lot about the children. I find that the staff are enthusiastic when talking about her day, what she has learned and the fun that she has had. I get lovely photos on the app regularly, of her activities and achievements. When she has been poorly, I can see that she has been well looked after and comforted until I can pick her up.

Excellent nursey, we moved here from another nursery and it is like night and day. Our child is fully engaged with by all the really well-trained, professional staff. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Mama Bear's Day Nursery is a caring, nurturing and home-from-home nursery. My two children have attended from one year until the end of pre-school. We will be so sad to be leaving this supportive community. Thank you.

Can’t fault the nursery, it’s good and staff are brilliant.
