His key worker has helped him widen his food palate in a way he is enjoying.
My son loves everything about coming to nursery and he wouldn't be where he is today without the help and support of all of the members here. With everything that he has been taught and learnt with this nursery I am confident in him being ready to take the next step to school.
My child has recently joined nursery and is thriving. He always comes home very chatty and with a smile across his face. As parents, we love the app and enjoy receiving updates about what he has got up to and what he has eaten. All the staff are so kind and have made him feel very welcome and safe.
My little boy absolutely loves coming to Chestnuts. He settled in so quickly and that was all down to the wonderful staff. It is such a friendly and happy atmosphere and we feel confident leaving him in their care. The activities they put on are varied and engaging and we always receive special crafts that our baby has made. We wouldn't have any doubts in recommending Chestnuts to all parents!
Each day I drop my daughter off she's smiling and on pick up she's happily playing. What more could I ask for? Our daughter has been with Chestnuts since she was 3 months old and I have never once worried. Chestnuts also did an amazing job of taking care of an emotional mum! Special thanks to one staff member in particular who is simply amazing along with her team.
Lovely considerate nursery that always goes above and beyond. My daughter always comes home with a smile and confidence. The staff clearly love their jobs and really take the time to get to know your child individually.
My baby joined Chestnuts in January 2024 at 1 year old and it's been such a positive experience. She has settled in so well and gets excited every time we arrive. The staff are excellent and I feel really confident and comfortable leaving her. I get lots of updates during the day - all the activities are great and she is given a wide variety of meals. Overall, very impressed!
The staff are incredible with both of my boys aged 3 and 1. I feel 100% comfortable leaving them in very safe hands. Their skills have come on hugely since starting nursery, social, speech and problem-solving. I would recommend this nursery without question and trust the staff explicitly with my children.
I cannot talk highly enough about this nursery and the staff within it. My child was a lockdown baby so his social skills were very limited during the first nine months of his life. When I enrolled him, both myself and my little boy were very nervous as this was a very new experience to us. The girls could have not made us feel more comfortable or reassured they are brilliant. My son has come on leaps and bounds since being here, at the nursery they take a huge interest in everything about him, they know what he likes, what he dislikes and how he likes to be comforted. They are his little family, he absolutely adores the girls there. He had a little difficulty with his speech and language and the girls were quick to pick it up and address it so he would get the help he needs which, to me, shows me how involved they are in your child’s development and that they actually care. I cannot fault this nursery, highly, highly recommended.
Would highly recommend Chestnuts Longlevens Day Nursery. My daughter, with additional needs, is currently there and everybody is brilliant with her extra care needs and she is coming out of her shell so much and that’s down to a lot of hard work from everyone. They are amazing with her and make me feel very confident in leaving her there. Everyone is friendly and happy to help with any concerns. Very happy with Chestnuts.
My three children have all been to Chestnuts Longlevens Day Nursery over the last eleven years. The older two (now 12 and 9 years old) went from the baby room all the way through to the preschool. They loved every minute of their time at Chestnuts. They were well cared for by all the staff and made lovely friends with the other children. When we were lucky enough to finally have baby number three, we went to look around again. Although eight years later, we were reassured to see that a lot of the same staff were still working at the nursery and remembered our older children. That to me demonstrates a great working environment. My youngest has just moved from the baby room into the 1-2 years' room. She has lots of opportunities to play outside, do craft activities and be supported to develop her gross motor skills. She is happy, eats well, sleeps well and loves her time at nursery.
Lovely nursery. Good standards and lots of activities planned during each week. Started in the baby room at 9 months old and is now in 2-3s. Lovely, friendly staff. Freshly cooked meals and healthy. Good variety too.
Lovely staff and my daughter always seems happy going in and coming out of nursery. I think the outside of pre-school could do with a bit of updating, it looks very tired and I think parents would benefit from the app being updated more often with what our children have been up to that day/new things they learn.
We are really happy with sending our little girl to Chestnuts Longlevens Day Nursery. The staff have always supported our daughter and us through what was a challenging time after Covid. Our daughter is so much happier socialising and runs through the doors at Chestnuts now! Special mention to three members of staff who we are so grateful for all their wonderful talents, skills and care when looking after our daughter.
Excellent nursery, nothing negative to say. The staff are brilliant and my son is already improving in different areas of his development by only being here for a few months and he loves going and is always so excited.
Amazing nursery, staff are warm and natural with the children. Staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate my little one's individual needs and communicate well with me about any issues! I feel completely comfortable leaving my little one when I drop them off at nursery.
All the staff members are very polite and professional. My son has been learning a lot in the nursery, he’s always engaged in activities which he loves showing off coming home. They are very helpful with the transition and now the nursery feels like a daily routine for our little one. He loves his time and has adapted well as the staff are very accommodating.
I have been bringing my children to the nursery since 2017. I have noticed since the change in ownership that the nursery has hugely gone downhill. The levels of cleanliness have decreased and the turnover of staff is huge. I used to love the consistency of staff but now this is non-existent. Last week on the 5th May I had to go into the nursery to stay when I dropped off as there was not enough staff to children. This is unacceptable and quite frankly outrageous given the amount of money I pay for my daughter to attend. This is not the fault of the poor girls who have to pass the message, but the management! If it were not for my daughter starting preschool soon in another setting I would would pull her out and seek an alternative nursery.
