My daughter joined the nursery about 6 months ago and was painfully shy. Since she's been to Merryvale, she's really started to come out of her shell and she absolutely loves it there. She gets very excited to go in the morning and always comes out happy. The staff are all lovely and you can tell that they really care about the children. I love the activities they plan for the children, it's great to see so much focus on the children being healthy- doing yoga, looking after the garden, cooking. It's a brilliant nursery.

I was so nervous to send my son to nursery but Merryvale couldn't have been better. They facilitated a quick turnaround after I was let down by another provider and the transition was so simple. They've been nothing but kind and welcoming. My son is flourishing and I am so delighted that he is in such a nurturing environment. I highly recommend that anyone considering Merryvale definitely take the leap - you won't look back!

My son absolutely loves coming to Merryvale Nursery. He first joined when he was 7 months old and I was really worried as a first-time mum however, all the staff are super supportive and communicate really well. My son has thrived during his time here. The setting is clean, he has a great choice of healthy meals and I love that he gets to explore all the different activities the nursery sets out every day. So much thought goes into all of the learning stages and we couldn’t be more pleased. Big shout out to all the staff, especially the baby room and management.

Would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone who is currently looking for a place for their child! The staff are excellent, both my children love going to nursery and they come home talking about their day and how much fun they have had. They are learning new things every day and the staff have been really supportive towards their development. The management team are really good and helpful. They are very hands-on! I can’t thank the staff enough for what they do!

My little girl has been here for a few months now. Staff are all very pleasant and always willing to help. They have a varied menu which is on display in the entrance and they do a lot of activities which are updated on the app. My little girl comes home every day clean and tidy, we can definitely see a difference in development since starting here and she's so happy. It’s nice that there’s always the same staff there, there isn’t a high staff turnover which has been reassuring to us. She has an excellent key worker who we have great communication with. Never had any complaints with the care we’ve received. Staff are alert with regards to safeguarding the children and have appropriate procedures in place. The manager is always approachable and on the end of the phone, as is another member of staff. My only very slight concern is that it feels it’s becoming corporate as they have a few nurseries now. We chose Merryvale as it had a homely feel, we really hope that’s not lost.

My daughter has been going here since she was 10 months old, she loves going here and has never had a tear when dropping her off. They always have something planned for them to do and keep parents well updated through the app. I know she’s well taken care of all day and couldn’t be happier with my choice of nursery.

I am very pleased with my experience at Merryvale Day Nursery. My son loves it and is always happy to attend. He has been attending since he was 7 months and has grown a lot ever since. His key worker is amazing and loves him very much and takes good care of him. This gives me so much peace of mind. It's never easy leaving a child and going off to work but they sure make it easier.

My daughter loves going to nursery each day. She is making excellent progress and is very well cared for. Good variety of learning experiences on offer each day. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This is a great nursery. I sent both of my sons here and loved every minute of it. I never go home worrying as all the staff are fantastic and I know he is well looked after. I've also recommended the nursery to my family members.

My son loves it at Merryvale Day Nursery. I love that we can see what he is up to via the app with photos and updates. The trips are great such as a bus journey to the woods or a walk to a cafe. The staff are wonderful!

My daughter loves going to Merryvale! As soon as that door opens, she runs in. The staff are so friendly, and you can see they really care about the kids! They use an app to keep you updated on what they have been doing, eating/drinking and keeping you informed on toileting, which is so lovely during the day at work!

My little one thoroughly enjoys nursery and has a brilliant learning journey. Her days are filled with activities that I continue at home. The app is really insightful. All the team at Merryvale are very polite, friendly and informative. Overall, it's a fantastic place to send my child. I love the newsletters; they are really useful and correlate to things happening during the calendar year, involving games and fancy dress. My little one has great relationships with her peers and overall, is encouraged and supported and has made amazing friends.

Lovely nursery. Staff are approachable and try to encourage family involvement as much as possible. My child has settled in well since the age of one, made some wonderful friends, and our second will be starting there shortly. Would recommend it as a nice, local nursery.

My son started in this nursery 10 months ago, and we are very happy. Staff are friendly and have strong bonds with children. Every day he has exciting new organised activities that can be messy, painting, slime, play-doh, sand etc. Children are encouraged to play outside in all weather and explore nature. Children are taken on organised trips to the library, park, postbox, and on the bus to local woods. I love the online parent diaries that show photos of his day and notes from staff. I am confident my child is happy and safe here; he is well cared for and well fed, and he doesn't come home hungry, which is why we moved from his previous childcare setting. Strongly recommend.

My son has been attending Merrivale Nursery since the age of one. He loves his time there so much he actually drives me mad till it's time to go. Staff are fantastic and friendly and keep us updated on activities and meals etc, throughout the day.

I have found the nursery staff members very supportive and informative. They have accommodated all of my child's needs and have made a positive difference in my child's learning. I have found the staff members to be very professional and approachable. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents looking for a nursery to give their child the best start in life. Both my children have or are attending Merryvale Day Nursery and they are a brilliant nursery and the staff are wonderful. My children love the nursery and always have lots of fun. Plenty of activities for them to do. The staff always listen to me as a parent if I have ever raised a concern and are always great with any medical issues my children have had.

My son loves coming to nursery. The ladies are so lovely when he was upset the first couple of weeks whilst he was getting used to it. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and they provide a range of different foods and snacks. I love how they take them out to places like the forest, the library or even just for little walks around the block. They have a wonderful outdoor space which my boy enjoys also. He absolutely adores his keyworker. She and the other ladies are phenomenal with the children and make sure they're always learning through play. I'd recommend this nursery to everyone!

Excellent nursery. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always approachable too if you need to speak to them. For me, it is very important that my daughter is well cared for and happy which she is there.

We are incredibly impressed with the care and nurture gave by all of the nursery staff to our two children. They have provided such a lovely environment for them to build their confidence levels and develop their learning. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents.
