My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Hillside. From the age of seven months, she has always looked forward to going. I look forward to sending my next there.

All the staff at the nursery, are fantastic, from the management team, to the room leaders. My son has a huge grin on his face whenever he goes and his eyes light up when he sees the staff. They genuinely care so much about our little boy and his development has come on so much. We saw a few nurseries and Hillside was head and shoulders above the rest, couldn’t be happier with them and our little boy agrees.

A wonderful nursery in the most beautiful setting. The trust I have in the staff is unwavering, I’m so grateful for their dedicated care, ensuring not only my child's wellbeing but also providing reassurance for us parents. The nursery embraces diversity, creating an inclusive environment. The staff here go above and beyond, my little boy loves it and always comes home so happy and content. It has a real family feel and I feel so lucky that my boy has been able to attend such a top-quality setting!

My child loves going to nursery, she gets excited when she sees her key person. She is always met at the door with a smile and hug. The staff there are very caring and always give me detailed feedback. I am confident leaving my daughter there as I know she is safe and happy. The manager has a lovey caring nature and always meets us when we go and pick our daughter up from nursery.

A fabulous nursery! My son thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff got to know my child well and I could tell they genuinely cared for him. He was also made to feel special and greeted with a warm welcome. His social skills, language and confidence grew and he formed lovely relationships with the staff and other children. Overall my son was happy, safe and had lots of fun.

Over the past two years we’ve had an absolutely outstanding experience. A great variety of activities are planned and prepared for the children every day from outdoor forest school to crafty kitchen, messy play, various unique learning activities and football. It’s been lovely seeing the progress in the little pieces of art (or occasional baked goods) received at the end of the day. The staff come across as caring and knowledgeable. Our child has developed a lovely bond with staff and children and is happy and settled. As parents the confidence we have in the staff gives us peace of mind that our child is educated and looked after well throughout the day. Communication has also been great. We can thoroughly recommend this setting!

We have had three of our children attend Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill to date. Our experience with each child has been excellent. All the staff have been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Daily communication has been of a high standard. Our boys have enjoyed their time with nursery and we feel that it has helped with their development and prepared them for starting school. We can’t thank Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill enough for their time and care over the years.

Our two boys attend the nursery; the eldest started back in 2019. They enjoy the outside activities, going to the farm, playing Kickstars, and all the creative activities baking, painting, and building different things. The staff are committed and care about the children; they give extensive handover, either verbally or through the app. The nursery building is within a beautiful location and feels like a home from home with 5 different rooms for ages and stages of development. We are satisfied with the service and confident that our children are well looked after while they are in Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill.

My daughter has been at Hillside House Nursery since she was 15 months old, she is due to start school in September. She has loved all of the activities available including Forest School, Crafty Kitchen, Pyjama Drama and Kickstars football. Hillside encourages a great foundation for the love of reading, she brings home a new book each week. She has weekly letters and sounds input which she loves. This has set her up brilliantly for school and teaching friends regularly comment on her handwriting ability already, she can write her name and family member's names unaided which peers in other settings cannot do. Some of this is encouraged at home but Hillside have built her confidence massively and she is proud to show off what she can do. She would rather spend time with mummy but staff at Hillside make time to comfort her and settle her in with cuddles and comfort available when she needs it. The outside space is amazing and is regularly used, children often visit a local 'farm'. I cannot recommend Hillside enough!

My daughter attends pre-school at Hillside House Nursery twice a week and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery. My daughter always comes home very excited to tell me everything she’s done that day and the staff go above and beyond to make it a lovely place to be. She especially enjoys the Kickstars session they have once a week.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication, and patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making everyday a fun environment to go to which was also very important. My son went here in 2016 and following the nursery he has achieved great results in his learning development. Currently my daughter went here too, just because I knew how amazing everything and everyone were I decided for her to go here even though it wasn't right in our catchment area. The staff are absolutely amazing and I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for my children. The nursery manager has been working here for a very long time and she has got lots of experience and is always able to help or answer any questions you may have. It was a real pleasure that my children were part of Hillside House Nursery. A big thank you to everyone at Hillside especially to the manager.

Both of our children have attended the nursery starting from 2016 through to current. They have both enjoyed a variety of experiences such as Pyjama Drama and Kickstars to onsite 'Crafty Kitchen' sessions (which include a mix of baking and crafts) as well as a Forest School equipped with a mud kitchen, digging patch and more. The staff always greet you with a smile and often give a personalised handover at collection time of the various activities that have been available for that day while using an app to keep you updated on other things such as food, nappies, sleeps and monthly photos, with the food being homemade onsite. The outside space is fairly extensive with purpose built play equipment which has been an important aspect for both our girls over the years to burn off all their energy! The eldest often tells us she would like to come back as a teacher in the future!

Our daughter has been with Hillside since she was 1, and is currently in preschool 2. Since day one we have been delighted with Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill, the staff are amazing and the children are never bored due to the variety of activities they do. We always recommend Hillside to anyone who asks!

Our little boy has been attending Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill since 11 months old, right through to leaving preschool to start school this September. I have nothing but absolute praise and thanks for all of the wonderful staff that have been involved in his care. They know all the children (and parents) on such a personal level and I genuinely feel a lot of sadness to think that our son will no longer be going. The nursery manager is very knowledgeable and professional, and all the staff have been incredible. My son has grown in confidence, has always been very happy going in in the morning and has learnt some wonderful things all whilst having lots of fun and adventures. The outdoor space is also fantastic, and my son has especially loved forest school. The meals always get a thumbs up and we will have lots of lovely memories thanks to Hillside. Thank you!

My son attends Hillside House Nursery as did his sister previously. This is an amazing nursery and both my children have been very happy here. The staff are lovely and caring and I know my child is in the best hands when he attends. As a parent, I have also got great relationships with the staff - we can have a chat/banter - this is important to me also. I have seen my children develop before my eyes and I know this is through the activities and structure that is so well thought out. This nursery also has a lovely forest school and outside play areas which were important to me as a parent when choosing a nursery. I will be sad when my son goes to school and we no longer get to come to this lovely place. I have no hesitation recommending Hillside to other parents looking for a nursery.

My daughter has been at Hillside House Nursery - Lyth Hill since the end of November 2022 and is thriving. As she had only just settled at a nursery in London, we were nervous about how she would adapt, but thanks to the wonderful staff she has settled really well. She is learning lots of wonderful signs and skills and we are very pleased we chose Hillside.

My son started at Hillside House Nursery in January 2022, and is in Acorns, since the day he started we have had nothing but amazing things to say about this nursery. My son always has a great time here, and gets up to some awesome activities! All the staff are absolutely lovely and always happy to help. Since starting at Hillside House my son's speech and walking have improved massively and they have done everything they can to support his development. We will always recommend Hillside House Nursery to other parents!

Fantastic nursery, cannot think of anywhere else I would want my child to attend. The staff are excellent, continually going above and beyond for the children. They are passionate about their jobs and never make you feel like anything is too much trouble.

We have had a wonderful experience of Hillside House Nursery, our child has attended since he was 11 months. We have complete faith in the staff in every room, their attitude and expertise towards the children is second to none. In every room we have felt well supported and informed about our child’s progress and development as well as day-to-day activities. They have fantastic outdoor space, forest school facilities and food choices. There is also a lovely nurturing feel to the nursery and my son has developed some lovely relationships with the teachers over the 4 years he has attended. We have booked our second child to start next year, I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

We have two children at Hillside, one in their acorns room and one just finishing off in preschool. The team at Hillside helped settle them in really well after we'd moved them up from the south of England. They've been fabulous with catering for coeliac and dairy intolerances and it's so nice that there's forest school, book bag day, trips to the farm, football, etc there as it gives the experiences they love. Couldn't rate it high enough - highly recommend.
