View Full Details of Busy Bees ShrewsburyMy son has been coming to this nursery for 2 years now and I absolutely cannot fault it. All the staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make sure the kids are happy and well looked after. Most recently, I let them know I’d be picking up my son in the middle of the day for a dentist appt, a member of staff then took it upon herself to set up a dentist activity table that very same day to teach the children about brushing teeth and going to the dentist. As a result, my son was great at the dentist and knew to open his mouth wide for them to look at his teeth. Its care and attention like this that really set Busy Bees above the rest.
I feel so lucky that my daughter goes to Busy Bees! We are so happy with the nursery. The staff are so friendly and have really helped my daughter to settle in and she is making such great progress. We have seen so many positive changes in her since she has been attending Busy Bees. The facilities are perfect and the nursery is very well-organised. We receive daily photos of our daughter and are kept up to date with her progress. I do not have a bad word to say, I am so happy with every part of our nursery journey so far!
Busy Bees Shrewsbury is fantastic! The staff are caring and professional. My child enjoys every moment there. It's evident that the team truly cares about each child's development and well-being. I feel confident knowing my child is in such capable hands. The management team's dedication and leadership contribute to creating such a fantastic environment. Highly recommend to any parent seeking a nurturing and educational environment.
My child has been attending Busy Bees Shrewsbury for nearly six months now and we’re extremely pleased with how they’re getting on. The settle-in sessions really helped prepare him for when he started doing full days. He is always happy to go and not always happy to leave! The staff seem to know all of the children really well and there are lots of updates throughout the day on the app. I recently worked with a paediatrician who spoke very highly of Busy Bees Shrewsbury and commented on how good they are with SEND needs and provision.
The staff have worked incredibly hard over the pandemic to ensure everything runs safely, smoothly and as normal as possible for the children. The manager and her team do such an amazing job. I always feel relaxed when my son is there because I know he's being well looked after and having lots of fun. He eats really well at nursery, they make freshly cooked meals which have given him the opportunity to try lots of new things. He is always doing fun activities that are documented on the parent's app so you can see what he's being up to throughout the day. It's lovely to be able to save the pictures to keep to look back on. Even though he has additional needs he is well and truly made to feel part of the group and included in all activities with his friends. Nursery is always happy to help with working in his physio activities into daily tasks/activities, which is massively appreciated. We couldn't be happier with Busy Bees Shrewsbury. Thank you
My two children have attended Busy Bees at Shrewsbury since October 2015 to current and we have nothing but positive to say about the running of the nursery. The activities they do with the children, how well the children eat whilst at nursery and the communication from staff is always excellent. Both my boys have had the most incredible start in life and my eldest settled straight into school, thank you to the transition in foundation class. Throughout the last twelve months during Covid-19, the extra measures that have been put in place are excellent but have also been smooth and have not disrupted my son as he has continued to attend. As I work in the NHS it has meant he has continued to attend to his safe place and had lots of fun and the staff that continued to work to support us nurses, made us be able to do what we do. Would highly recommend viewing the nursery if you are local, I'm sure you will fall in love straight away.
From our first visit, we were impressed with the introduction right through to the day sessions. The most important aspects from our point of view are staff, space and nutrition. Busy Bee's has all of these qualities and more.
My Daughter has attended Busy Bees Shrewsbury since June 2018 when she was seven months old. Prior to starting nursery, we attended the baby group held within the Baby Room. This was run by the room manager, who I only found to be welcoming, confident, efficient, and clearly displayed an invested interest towards the children. Her open and honest approach reassured me further that choosing Busy Bees was the right decision. Upon starting settling in sessions, it was evident that my daughter felt extremely comfortable with the already familiar staff and room alike. Having provided information regarding my daughter's likes and dislikes, I have found these to have been read and considered by all staff involved with her care, given they are able to relay as I had informed. The comprehensive handover at the end of the day only offers reassurance. Any small issues raised have been dealt with efficiently and professionally. From Management to room staff the whole transition into nursery has been positive.
Our child has attended for the last 9 months and has thrived at Busy Bees. The staff are very conscientious, and knowledgeable and I feel I am leaving my child in very safe hands. The range and type of activities and learning they do throughout the day are age appropriate and varied. I am pleased to see and hear thorough planning for each child's needs and development. The facilities and food are both excellent, and even the catering staff take care to get know the children. ParentZone provides extra peace of mind as you can monitor your child throughout the day with ease. They also have generous outdoor space, and in good weather, the children are allowed to move between indoors and outdoors as they want. We are very pleased we chose this nursery.
My little girl has been attending Busy Bees since the age of 1, she is now 3 and half. The staff have been extremely patient and caring towards her as she struggled to settle at first. Her confidence has grown so much over the years and she now bounds into nursery with so much enthusiasm and always has lots of exciting things to tell me about her day. I feel she is having the best start to prepare her for school!
The nursery is very friendly and welcoming and within just a few weeks it seemed like most of the staff already knew my daughter's name. Welcoming and professional every morning. The room staff are very professional, creating a fund but also learning environment, which my daughter now loves.
I chose this nursery because of its excellent reputation and the location is ideal for my work. It's not the cheapest of nurseries but the care and standard of learning is excellent. Meals are included in their price which makes life easier when you work full time. I can't fault the activities and learning and being able to monitor your child's progress daily on the parentzone is a bonus. The only thing I would like to see improved is the outdoor play equipment with some more climbing frames and park type facilities.
My son attended Busy Bees since July 2012 and has just left to start school. My son has loved every minute of his time there. The staff are great and took such great care of him throughout his time at the nursery. My son enjoyed all his time in each room and made strong bonds with the staff. The manager is lovely and very approachable, always taking time get to know my son. My son had freshly prepared meals cooked each day by the nursery chefs and he particularly enjoyed the large outdoor areas to play and explore.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the care and entertainment both my girls receive. I think the invoice system and payment process is complicated. I never look in the tray as I'm usually trying to run out the door as they're upset with me leaving. An email or text with payment link would be much easier. I find my girls both come home so thirsty and realise they can help themselves but wondered if they are asked /offered drinks regularly? There are so many staff and faces change constantly it's very difficult to keep up and I've never had an introduction from the manager. I think the manager or someone should open the door on arrival or visit the rooms occasionally when we're leaving to check in and make it a bit more personal.
