Both of our sons, aged 3 and 4, have attended and continue to attend Westwards Nursery. We have firsthand experience with the Sunshine Room, Rainbow Room, and Pre-School, and we can confidently say that all three programs have offered our children remarkable experiences and a strong foundation in their early years. The boys are consistently exposed to a wide variety of enriching activities and adventures. The entire team is exceptional, consistently providing a nurturing environment filled with love and kindness. We feel extremely fortunate to have Westwards Nursery as part of our lives and are genuinely grateful for the positive, engaging, and supportive atmosphere they create for our children. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

Our son started Westwards in January and very quickly settled in thanks to the wonderful staff in the sunshine room who made him feel so welcome and helped him settle in. He's become so independent since starting nursery and learnt so many new skills already so thanks to everybody at westwards for making the start of the nursery journey so smooth x

My child has been attending since she was 9 months old, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The teachers are wonderful-genuinely caring and dedicated to the children's well-being. My daughter absolutely loves it and is always excited to go, eager to spend time with her teachers and friends. She particularly enjoys the outdoor learning opportunities, from walks in the local park to trips to the market, coffee shops, museums, and forest school. The staff create a rich learning environment through play and hands-on activities, such as observing tadpoles grow into frogs, making every day both fun and educational.

Westwards Nursery School was an easy choice as my older child had attended when we moved him there just before he turned 3. He had such a fantastic time that I knew that it was the right setting for my youngest when I went back to work just before her 1st birthday. I can't emphasise enough how amazing the ladies were at settling her in. They offered comfort and care and communicated so well with us to reassure us that she was absolutely fine. This has continued in each room since. They offer such a broad range of opportunities, from painting and cooking to forest school and bus trips to the park- incorporating socialisation, creativity, nurturing and fun! So many learning opportunities along the way, that most families would struggle to give their child every single day. Highly recommended nursery!

We are absolutely delighted with Westwards Nursery. Our son joined last year in the Sunshine room and since then he has developed so much thanks to the care and attention of the practitioners. They are very knowledgeable, kind, friendly and every day they organise activities for the little ones to get involved. I like the update at pick up to learn how my son's day was, and the entries on the app to learn about his development. The room is always very clean and has a lovely homey feeling.

The team at Westwards are amazing and I honestly cannot compliment them enough. My baby is still very little but 6 staff members in particular are so good with her. There are absolutely no tears at drop off and the biggest smiles at pick up. She settled in very quickly thanks to the team and their efforts. Verbal communication is always very detailed and they are all just genuinely nice people.

I could not recommend Westwards more highly. Our little one settled so well and lives going to nursery. I can tell he feels completely at home, safe and happy there. The staff are experienced, kind and genuine they take care of the children as if they were their own and, for that, we couldn't be more grateful. Lots of lovely activities and good food, and very good communication with parents too on a daily basis.

We've been really impressed with Westwards Nursery School - our daughter started in the new year - she's settled in really quickly, and has enjoyed all the attention and toys! The staff are genuine and have been really welcoming.

Our daughter absolutely loves the nursery - she is so fond of all of the nursery staff. She settled in so much quicker than I thought she would and she is excited to go every day. They do a fantastic array of food and the activities are creative, sensory and out daughter has so much fun! Since going, she has become more confident and her social skills have come on leaps and bounds.

My son recently joined Westwards Nursery and he absolutely loves it. He is so excited to go in each morning and so comfortable and confident with all the staff in the Sunshine room. The sharing of information about what he has done, eaten and explored is lovely and I really enjoy the photos that are shared with me. He is flourishing in this environment and I am so grateful to all the staff involved at Westwards. Thank you all so much!

I am so thrilled my son is attending Westwards. It's his second month and they've helped him to settle in so well, they care for him as if he were their own little one. Everyone is so kind and always has a smile and my son is so excited to attend every day. They keep me updated on all his activities and what he's been doing.

Excellent Nursery. Caring staff and fun too. We changed to this nursery from another local nursery. My child took time settling in, but the staff were great helping. Great outdoor garden. Lots of activities for toddlers. Help with potty training- good facilities. Good management team.

I couldn't recommend Westwards more highly. Outstanding experienced and genuinely caring staff who you can trust to look after and nurture your little ones. Also they do loads of activities with the children and the outdoor area is great even though you can't see it from the front. We love Westwards and will be sad when our children have to leave to go to school!

We love Westwards. Our son has been going here since he was 9 months and we couldn't ask for a better nursery, it's everything we could want for him. The staff are lovely and caring and we have never had any issues. They get the children out doing activities in the local community and enrich them with activities in the nursery. Absolutely one of a kind.

Westwards Nursery is a gem that we feel fortunate to have locally for our son. The staff's dedication, care, patience and enthusiasm shine through in every aspect of the nursery. It's warm, welcoming, and feels like a second home for our son. Dropping him off and picking him up is always a positive experience, thanks to the friendly and nurturing environment created by the staff.

Westwards Nursery is simply the best! It's home from home, but much more fun! All members of staff take the time to get to know your child and they care for them as if they are their own. Nothing is too much, they do everything they can to make sure each child is happy in their surroundings and feels included in activities, including letting the child take the lead. Transitions between rooms are done sensitively and at the right time for the individual, not rushed by age. The menu is incredible! My 2-year-old eats better than I do! The trips out, they are given the opportunity to go out and about. The museum, the park, the library, the fair (when it's in town), the market, on a bus, to the shops, tennis courts and then there is Forest School. They are one big family, the children included. Both of my children (7 years old and 2 years old) have attended Westwards, they are both thriving in their own little ways thanks to the wonderful start they've been given at Westwards.

I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter receives at Westwards Nursery. My concern is always my daughter's happiness in any setting and I know each day she attends that she is happy and content and extremely well cared for. She walks into her room happily with no tears or tantrums and always has a smile on her face when I pick her up. Everyone is so kind and caring. My daughter has had some medical issues and they've been incredibly supportive throughout. Nothing is too much trouble. The turnover of staff is incredibly low and that's testament to a caring and supportive environment that's created by the management team. The staff are extremely highly qualified, very patient, kind and supportive and I consider myself very lucky to have found such a wonderful place for my daughter to start her learning journey.

After visiting a few nurseries, we chose this one for its homely and welcoming feel, training levels and professional reviews. Our child has now been attending, full-time for 15 months and I remain happy and confident with our choice. The staff are caring and attentive and my child loves attending. I simply could not match the number or variety of activities at home and I am so happy with my child's development as a result of what is on offer. The food menu changes regularly, with a fantastic variety of balanced meals, with all dietary requirements catered for. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

I couldn't recommend Westwards more highly. Outstanding experienced and genuinely caring staff who you can trust to look after and nurture your little ones.
