Excellent nursery, friendly staff and always clean and caring.

We cannot fault anything about this nursery since our little girl started here. She has thrived since her first day and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Staff listen to us and are so enthusiastic about the care of each individual child. I am so reassured that she is having the best time and so glad we chose to send her here.

We never have to worry about our daughter when she's at nursery. We love the regular updates and pictures sent to us too. She is well cared for and fed well with nutritious meals. It's great that she gets to play outside in the wonderful garden. The staff are amazing with her, we know this because she talks about them when she gets home!

Lovely nursery, my daughter settled in so well. Great communication made me feel so much better and more comfortable with going back to work. My daughter is always so happy to be there, I really couldn't have chosen a better nursery!

Fantastic with my daughter. Very friendly staff. Daughter loves the staff and very happy to be there. Great handovers when picking up. The app is updated daily. And I receive lots of pictures and videos of the day's activities.

We knew Humberstone Day Nursery was the perfect place for our family from the moment we were given a tour 5 years ago. We have sent all 3 of our children to HDN and we have never regretted this decision. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. We feel confident leaving our children at nursery knowing that they are cared for like family. Our youngest is in the baby room where he is stimulated with well-thought-out activities which make exploring and learning fun for him. Our middle child loves the preschool home. As a teacher, I can appreciate the effort her team go to to ensure activities are differentiated to suit her interests and abilities. It is clear from how happy our children are, how much progress they make and the whole nursery environment that the whole team go above and beyond in their roles. We would confidently recommend HDN to everyone.

My little girl settled so well in the Baby Unit. I couldn't thank the Baby Unit staff enough. As a first-time mum, it was an anxious time leaving her but I don't know what I was worried about. She loves it! I love receiving updates on the app which shows me what she has been learning about. The activities and resources are brilliant.

Brillinat nursery, friendly staff. They make me feel at ease when leaving my little one. One of the best nurseries around! I would 100% recommend to a friend.

The staff have been excellent with helping to find the best way to get our son settled in. The staff are absolutely excellent and keep us informed daily about his activities and his behaviour. Have also helped us with our son’s development and tracking it. Very happy with the service, the care and the attention given to our son and us! It’s a perfect balance of fun and learning!

Our child's experience at the nursery has been excellent. She is clearly comfortable there and has settled in well. The staff have not only been professional but also warm and engaging, making our child's time there enriching. We appreciate their attentive nature, always considering our concerns. We wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other parents seeking a well-rounded approach.

Humberstone Day Nursery is an amazing nursery and I’m so glad we chose it for our son. They are very thorough and if they have any issues they get in contact straight away! I was really worried about our son starting nursery due to only being 9 months old and having extra needs but he settled in so well and he is so happy there I had nothing to worry about! The staff are amazing with him and also us as parents. He has come on loads since starting and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery to send their child.

Our son has been at the nursery for 4 years from being an 11-month-old baby and is now off to school, we were so sad to say goodbye! I remember being so apprehensive about leaving him when I first went back to work but the team there made this transition as easy and painless as possible. The wonderful staff have supported him through many stages of development In a lovely nurturing environment. Through potty training, feeding himself, learning to talk, and now to reading and writing they have always been incredibly caring and encouraging. He has always been so happy and excited about going to the nursery which speaks volumes about the atmosphere that the team have created for the children. I would thoroughly recommend the nursery, with staff who really go the extra mile and genuinely care for the children’s best interests. Truly some of the best nursery staff and management I have come across - continue the hard work!

My son has started nursery recently and has settled really well. The staff are amazing and have really helped him settle. I really enjoy seeing the activities they do on the app. I am glad to have found this nursery and I am looking forward to seeing my son progress through to the other rooms and see him develop.

Staff at this nursery are very polite, professional and friendly. They give the best care and input to each child and ours certainly enjoys going. He smiles and claps as he gets to the nursery. A very professional and friendly nursery with good clean and interesting facilities for all the children. Would recommend this nursery.

Both of my children attend Humberstone Day Nursery. They both started their journeys at 11 months old, now four years and 14 months, and we really do think it's wonderful. My four-year-old absolutely loves attending and enjoys his time there; he is always telling me about the exciting activities he's been doing. My 14-month-old has now settled in perfectly, and I can't wait to watch him develop and grow. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. My sons have a great relationship with all members of the team, not just with their key workers, which makes me feel happy leaving them before work, knowing they will be cared for and that they are happy. I will continue to recommend this nursery.

Humberstone Day Nursery and all staff have been amazing from the first initial meeting. Management were very friendly and made myself and my son feel at ease straight away. Clear to see that the nursery is a happy and caring place to be, felt like a home from home. My son has thrived and come on leaps and bounds since attending the nursery. Confidence has grown massively. I wouldn't want my children to be anywhere else. Thank you Humberstone Day Nursery.

I knew this nursery was right for us almost the moment we stepped foot through the door. Our son can be very shy with others and we have struggled to leave him with family members because of this but he settled in at nursery so smoothly we could not believe it. It was the smoothest transition possible. The staff made a lot of effort to get to know him and make him feel calm and relaxed and they were kind and supportive with us also. The atmosphere at the nursery is like a home from home, just a home with lots more fun things to do and see! The facilities are brilliant as is the food. My son's favourite person by far is the chef, he eats absolutely everything she makes. The staff clearly care for and love the nursery, the staff and all the children and it shows. All staff have been there for years and there is great communication between everyone and it trickles down to the children. We couldn't be happier and we look forward to sending our baby daughter one day too.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for a month now and gets on really well there. All the staff are super friendly, patient and caring and helped my daughter get settled in well. The food always sounds lovely and nutritious. The staff have really helped with my daughter's development and I feel safe knowing she is being looked after. I was anxious at first but now I can see she is making progress, having fun and thriving with all the activities that she does. Thank you.
