They have been amazing for my child, helping when we are going through a difficult time and a SEN diagnose. They have just been amazing and my child is super happy being there! They started at the start of the academic year and they are doing extremely well!

I would just like to say how brilliant the staff are at Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer), especially in the Acorns room! They make the environment a happy and wonderful place for children to learn and develop. My child absolutely loves going and we are just so super impressed with how much he has progressed so far. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the needs of our child are met. Our little boy has access to well-planned activities that provide him with a range of learning opportunities. I love how much they consider children's interests too. We are consistently kept up to date with the amazing app and we absolutely love seeing and responding to the observations made. The parent partnership is fantastic, and we are very grateful for the strong and clear communication given at drop-off and pick-up. We can't wait to continue to watch him grow.

I cannot rate Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) highly enough. I have had 2 sons go through the rooms at the nursery and have always been blown away by the care and consideration of every member of staff within every room. My youngest son has special needs, he is unable to walk or talk, and the nursery goes above and beyond. Implementing things that help him, seeing his external professionals within the setting, helping with his EHCP and recruiting a 1:1 carer for him. They also have a fantastic sensory room for children to have calm and quiet when they need it. The nursery has a forest school setting, goes out in the community, has a fantastic outdoor area for play and has a lot of wooden Montessori play within the nursery setting. They also have great options for food. I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. 5 stars is not enough.

I was really nervous about sending my little boy to Nursery when I returned to work after maternity leave. He was a late developer in terms of his physical development so I knew it would be a battle and take someone special to be able to cater for his needs. Every member of staff has been great at supporting us and my little one but in particular, is a key person in the Acorn Room and has gone above and beyond. We get regular observations and updates and nothing is too much to ask. With the help of his key person and the physiotherapist, my little one is now meeting all milestones and has developed a strong attachment to his favourite key person. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Acorn Nursery and would recommend it to everyone with little ones.

Since my little girl started nursery we have found all of the staff so friendly and supportive. We get regular updates throughout the day via the app and also an in-depth handover of the collection. We are so glad we moved nurseries.

Acorn Day Nursery has been amazing at helping our little girl settle into her two days at nursery. Even when she is sad on drop off they cheer her up and get her smiling. The staff have been brilliant from the start. The app is super useful at keeping us updated on her day, including her food, nappies and sleep as well as observations of her activities.

The staff are very helpful and supportive. Grandchild is happy to go there and appears happy. Lots of activities. A variety of food is given for meals and snacks. Communication via the app is excellent and easy to use.

Fantastic nursery! Never had any concerns leaving my daughter in their care! She is always happy to go and always learning something new! All staff and facilities are brilliant! Not a single fault with anything!

The nursery and staff are all amazing! They've helped my son in so many ways. He is thriving and can't thank the staff, especially his key worker for their continued support! The outdoor area is amazing! Would recommend the nursery 100%.

As I am unfortunate to live some distance from my Granddaughter, I am absolutely delighted to be able to be part of the updates from the family group that the nursery uploads on a regular basis, along with the pictures which make it extra special. This allows me to see what she is up to on a daily basis and see how much fun she is having. The activities vary so much, both indoor and outdoor, allowing the children to develop all of their skills. She cannot wait to get to nursery in the morning and is never ready to come home, it is lovely to see her interacting with all her peers and also enjoying her one-to-one time. She has developed so much during her time at Acorn. The dedication of all the staff is second to none. Well done everyone and thank you for being part of her early years.

I have always been impressed with the outstanding care that Acorn provides. All three of my children are currently attending or have attended Acorn from the age of one and they have thrived in this nurturing environment. The dedicated staff are not just caregivers but are genuinely passionate about early childhood development. They create a warm, supportive atmosphere where my kids feel safe and valued. The activities are well thought out and stimulating, ensuring that every child is engaged and excited about learning. I highly recommend Acorn Nursery to any parent looking for a top-notch early education experience.

Second time around using this nursery with my second child and it was never a question of where he would go. 3 years in between my eldest leaving and my son starting with all the nursery staff remaining the same, with some new faces. The love, attention and care they show to the children is fantastic. My little one started at 10 months, now coming up to 16 months and he always comes out very happy.

Acorn Day Nursery has supported my daughter since she was 8 months (she is now 3 years and a half and about to go to school). My daughter has had a number of intolerances starting from when she was born and they have supported her with every single one. Adding to this, they've been extremely supportive in my daughter's most recent medical investigation, providing great SEND support and informal conversations about where to go next and what to do. They create a bespoke learning environment for the children, adapting and creating activities for children's individual interests. They have a forest school that they are able to go to and the children are outside in all weather. The resources they have enable all children to do this. The staff are friendly, polite and my daughter loves every single one. I'm super nervous about her next steps at primary school as they are going to have big boots to fill!

Fully recommend Acorn Day Nursery in Burton Latimer. Their support has been second to none and I will always be so thankful that we found them. My daughter struggled and eventually had to leave a previous setting and when moving to Acorn we were full of worry, expecting another difficult situation. However, she has absolutely blossomed being in their care. She excitedly shouts about going to nursery, asks to go to nursery and runs inside when she sees any of the wonderful staff members at the door. They've assisted in her speech, communication and socialisation as she's grown. I will always be thankful to the Acorns team, and as she grows we know she will continue to flourish with this setting's support.

A very good nursery, lots of outdoor time, huge range of activities. Admin staff are particularly helpful, responsive and efficient. Low staff turnover. Varied menu, staff friendly and know children well.

My daughter really enjoys attending this setting one day a week. The care provided by all staff is excellent and I feel that my child has been well supported in her development. Activities are carefully tailored to support the interests of the children and to spark curiosity. I feel confident leaving my daughter at Acorns and know that she will have a good day.

Both of my children have attended this nursery and had excellent experiences. The staff are experienced, friendly and welcoming, they create a great atmosphere for young children to settle in for their first time away from home. The broad range of activities on offer allows for plenty of variety to keep the children interested and provide opportunities to learn, also tailored to their preferences or development needs.

The staff members are friendly, approachable, and genuinely care about the well-being of each child. One aspect that truly sets Acorn Nursery apart is the level of attention given to each child. The staff members go above and beyond to ensure that every child feels valued and loved. The facilities at Acorn Nursery are superb. The classrooms are bright, spacious, and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. This nursery has been absolutely amazing, my eldest daughter went here and she loved all of the staff and now my other daughter goes. She’s autistic and they have been so patient with her and understand her needs very well. They are absolutely wonderful. My daughter has come on so much since attending this nursery, all the staff are lovely and so welcoming. I would recommend this nursery all the time, they are brilliant.

Our little one has recently moved from the Squirrel's Room to The Oaks a few months early- at first I thought he might struggle but he has flourished! The team in The Oaks are amazing, he has taken to the big room so well. You can’t ask for a better nursery than Acorn.
