View Full Details of Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and PreschoolAfter viewing many other nurseries, we went with Bright Horizons and there were many reasons for this. The baby room is big, clean and judging by the other babies in the room, staff do take pride in the appearance of babies (cleaning runny noses). My child enjoys outdoor space and it has a large outdoor area. Most importantly when I went to visit, I could see the genuine desire to develop children. The staff are amazing and you can see they all have a passion for working with children. I didn't think my child would settle as quickly as he did and this is no doubt as a result of their hard work. The nursery has an app which they update in real-time so you can see what your child has eaten, nappy changes and if they've slept. There have also been instances when my son hasn't been too well and the staff have been good with getting in contact and suggesting the best next steps. I would definitely recommend this nursery and all you'll need to do is pay it a visit to see it for yourself.
Baby room is a lovely and clean room. The staff are welcoming and create a friendly environment for my son. My son enjoys going to nursery and learning. This is all thanks to the girls in the baby room.
My children have been with this nursery since both of them were 9 months old and I really really love it there! They are so loved, well treated and respected, I struggle to even think of changing them to a different one. The contents are always adapted to the children, their autonomy is respected and everything is very well structured. A big shout out to my children's key person on the baby room, thank you for all that you do and the amazing bond you created with them!
Both our children have been looked after in the baby room at Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool and it brings huge peace of mind to know how well cared for they have been. The staff are always smiling, friendly and a fantastic support to both children and parents as needed. The activities for the babies are always super imaginative and fun, I have no doubt the babies are enjoying themselves and feel secure in their surroundings.
I love the fact that no matter the weather, if the children want to play outside, they’re outside! I love how friendly all the staff are, so helpful and just a delight to talk to. The way my son has been more chatty since starting here warms my heart because now instead of just chatting to me, he’s more social in general! I love it here.
My child really enjoys nursery as, in the morning, he happily goes into the baby room. He is starting to use more words and is more open to joining into activities at home. He is more independent with his eating. He loves the garden.
I am so happy we chose Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool for our son as we have been hugely impressed by all the people who make the nursery such a special place. I love the focus on outdoor learning as this really suits the needs of my son who especially wants to be outdoors as much as possible. His key workers have been particularly special and really support his needs and growth. I know he is getting fantastic support and learning opportunities and talking with other parents, I hear similar praise and happiness. Huge thanks to everyone involved in running this nursery and for all that you do to improve my son's early years experiences.
My son moved to Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool twelve months ago from another nursery and we're extremely glad we made the switch. The nursery facilities are great, temperature-controlled rooms, that are kept clean. Lots of safe outdoor space for the children with each room having its own separate space and a larger communal space for other age groups. The staff are lovely and are so considerate of your child’s needs, they keep parents updated throughout the day using the app and are very supportive. My son names the staff in his room first when we ask him which of his friends he has played with today. The management is also brilliant, whenever we have had any concerns or worries, they’re reassuring and really helpful. The activities that are planned for the children are always engaging, educational and fun. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Trafford to anyone.
I am really pleased with how well my son has settled into this nursery. He has come on massively since being at the nursery and around a lot of other children his age. The staff are brilliant in the baby room. Very pleasant and great with my son. I have recommended this nursery to friends and family. My son has allergies and they are really good at making sure he is safe at dinner time especially.
Our child loves this nursery. We get regular updates on his activities during the day and how he has eaten. The food seems to be excellent. The staff are always happy to provide advice or take on board our requests (such as length of nap time). At collection, we always see our child happily playing.
Nursery and staff are great. My son’s very well looked after there and has a great time. Have a great outdoor space, provide regular communication updates and my son’s development has been fantastic since attending.
This nursery is very well organised and run. The atmosphere is welcoming and always very clean. Modern facilities with lots of light in the baby room where our child is. The app is very useful for keeping us up to date on how our child's day is going. Parking space for prams also very useful. Large garden area for the kids. Difficult to find any fault. I can't tell what it's like for other rooms but our child started at 6 months and is now 16 months in the baby room.
Our son has been in the baby room since August 2023 and we couldn’t be happier with his time at nursery. He settled really quickly into nursery life and has such lovely relationships with the staff in his room. The nursery is really professionally run and we have never experienced any issues. The staff takes time to offer different activities to the children every day, recently the baby room was turned into a baby spa for example which was great! Our son eats everything they put in front of him and he runs into nursery when we get there. Lots of outdoor play too which we think is great! No hesitation in recommending this nursery to other parents/carers.
Our daughter started at Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool when she was 1. We really liked the nursery when we visited, feeling reassured how well she would be cared for by the fabulous room lead. The people working in the baby room love those babies! She was rocked to sleep and totally seen as her own little person. Her transition to toddler room was seamless with equally dedicated, caring and fun staff! Moving up to pre-school was well-timed and she loves it. Lots of fab activities, interactions and community with us, as parents. She continues to be valued as an individual. We feel incredibly lucky to have Bright Horizons as our child's early years setting!
Very good nursery - excellent communication. Nutritious meals. Clean environment. Staff are warm and welcoming. Very diverse - staff and children from all different backgrounds and cultures. Felt safe and secure dropping my child off.
We have two children at Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool and couldn’t be happier. The staff at every level are really excellent: friendly, caring, patient, conscientious and fun. There have been staff changes while we’ve been there but a core of a really dedicated team, plus consistent management, has meant a consistent experience for the children. The menu is fantastic (far better than school food). The bespoke curriculum follows each child without pushing too hard (e.g. on inappropriate academics in preschool). The outside space would ideally be larger and more “wild” but for a large city nursery, it would be tricky to do much more with that space, which has been heavily invested in in recent years. Previous staff issues were largely, to my understanding, due to Covid rules (problems facing every provider at the time) and do not occur now.
We have had nothing but a positive experience from the start, the staff really care about the children and are so kind and professional. Our baby has settled so well and is gaining more and more confidence every day. Her cognitive and physical development have, no doubt, greatly helped by her time in nursery, the children play, explore, read and are involved in musical activities and all sorts of experiences like ‘spa day’ and ‘let’s make a pizza’. I genuinely feel reassured that she is getting the best care available, she is clearly happy and so are we. The staff are a credit to their profession.
I love this nursery and so does my daughter. The staff are so caring and patient and take any concerns seriously. The learning and creative play is brilliant and children thrive in this excellent setting.
Excellent, caring and super-friendly staff! My daughter has been going to this nursery for two months now and we have been provided with a lot of support and comfort to help her settle in. We get regular updates on her day-to-day activities and can see her personal development at home as well. Would highly recommend this daycare!
I would not recommend this nursery to any parents looking for childcare. The nursery refuses to give us refunds for a period they were closed during lockdown, this figure is over £600 which is an absolute joke. They ignored our emails on this matter for months which was very frustrating and when they finally responded to our follow-up emails they said they would not be refunding us. The standard of this nursery has declined massively since we started sending our daughters here. The nursery constantly ask us to bring our child in after 9am even though we pay from 8am due to staff shortages and sometimes we have to wait with our child until the staff arrive for work. This makes us late for work on an daily basis and has been going on for months. There is no offer of refunds or compensation even though we have been missing an hour of nursery almost every day for the last few months now. There is also a high turnover of staff which isn't great for your child and getting settled.
