My son has been at Shine a light nursery for 4 weeks now, and he is absolutely loving it, we get regular updates throughout the day and pictures which is so reassuring that he is settled. The staff are great and friendly and we have had another brilliant experience here, thank you everyone xx

Shine a light nursery is really my child's second home. Staff are genuinely caring, friendly and showing special interests of kids at heart. The updates and photos of his on the app and in person really brighten up our day. He eats healthy meals and snacks as well from there. I find management very approachable and no difficulties. Highly recommended.

We couldn't be happier that our little boy attends this amazing nursery. We was nervous initially sending in our little one to the nursery as we didn't know what to expect or how he would react, the nursery staff supported him to settle into the class in such a positive way. Their warm welcomes in the morning to the constant updates throughout the day with photos made us feel at ease, knowing he was in such a safe nurturing environment. The food choices the children get are great, our little boy has come on leaps and bounds with the variety of foods he will eat. Thank you to all the staff for being so warm and friendly.

Our little boy has been at Shine a Light for 3 years and is almost ready to leave Pre School having joined the baby room at 1 years old. The care he has received has been exemplary & we couldn't have asked for more. We will all be really sad when he leaves in September. He absolutely loves it there. Staff members are amazing & go above & beyond to make sure children feel safe & happy. Activities are engaging & varied & keep the children entertained daily. As well as being entertaining they really stretch the children's imagination & ability. Management have been brilliant with us too. They are approachable and accommodating. Communication with nursery is brilliant. We are constantly kept up to date with going's. Staff are always proactive with keeping us in the loop with how our little boys day has been and are always keen to discuss at the end of the day. All in all a great nursery with a wonderful loving atmosphere & an amazing bunch of people. Would recommend in a heart beat.

Shine a light is like a home away from home. All the ladies know each and every child regardless of which room they are based in. Every session we are greeted with smiles and laughter, it is truly a special place! They nurture kind, caring and confident children. Have a clear focus on learning new skills and knowledge through play and for me this setting truly encompasses what the "Early Years" should be! I truly believe the owners passion for early years is what makes this setting what it is and her high expectations has led to All the staff going above and beyond for not just the child but the whole family around them.

After feeling very frustrated looking around many nurseries , I was instantly happy when I found Shine A Light and haven't regretted it since. Clean , therapeutic environment , friendly approachable staff who make an effort to all know your child and their development - updates regularly. My baby is thriving

Shine a Light Day Nursery has been a wonderful choice for my daughters. From the moment we arrived, I felt the warmth and care of the staff, who created a welcoming and safe environment. The activities are both fun and educational, and my daughters are always excited to share what they've learned. The nursery provides a calm, secure atmosphere, and I never worry about their safety or well-being. The facilities are clean, bright, and well-equipped, with plenty of outdoor play opportunities. Communication with parents is excellent, with regular updates on progress. My daughters have grown in confidence and happiness since starting, and I know they are in a place where they are loved and supported. Shine a Light truly stands out, and I couldn't recommend it more highly for any family looking for a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment.

We can not thank Shine A Light enough for making us comfortable to leave our little one in their caring hands. All the staff are amazing, they always make us feel welcome and our little one loves nursery. Our little one tells us all about their day and we get updates throughout the day via the app they use which is so good from receiving pictures to what they have eaten for each meal. We can not recommend Shine A Light enough. Thank you so much.

Shine A Light Day Nursery has been a wonderful experience for our child. The staff are incredibly lovely and attentive, always making sure each child feels safe and nurtured. They provide a wide range of opportunities for sensory play, music and motor skills development, which keeps our little one engaged and excited to learn. The nursery offers regular updates throughout the day, which is reassuring and keeps us connected to our child's activities. The meals provided are nutritious and well-balanced, ensuring our child gets the energy needed for their busy day. We also appreciate the structured routine that helps our child feel secure and settled. Communication from the staff is fantastic and we always feel well-informed about our child's progress and daily experiences. My child started at nursery a couple of months ago now. Since starting at Shine A Light all members of staff have been amazing. There is always a member of the management team greeting you with a smile on their face when they greet you at drop-offs and pick-ups. The ladies in the nursery are fabulous with all the children which has made settling into nursery a breeze for my child. You receive updates of what your child is up to during the day with pictures of them which puts your mind at ease that they are having so much fun with the developmental activities that are put on for them. The staff in the room always take the time to inform you of the type of day your child has had at nursery. Overall I have found Shine A Light an amazing nursery for my child and you can really see how passionate all members of staff are for their jobs and to really make nursery the best journey possible for each individual child.

I was so worried about my little girl starting nursery but shining a light put me at ease, she absolutely loves going and her face lights up when we pull up in the car park. The staff treat you like family and make you feel so welcome. Nothing is ever too much and I feel so at ease if I have any queries or questions etc. I definitely recommend this nursery as leaving your baby is one of the hardest things to do. Thank you for everything.

Our son started this setting end of October. We were worried at first about him settling in as his previous nursery took nearly two months. He is into his third week now and has settled in extremely well. The first week he did not eat what was on the menu but gradually with the staff being so positive and encouraging him, he finally started eating food he would never eat at all. Every member of staff in the setting are always so happy and makes you feel at home. The minute you walk into the building you always get a warm welcome. Updates about your child's nappy, food, sleep, snack, lunch, and Tea are updated on a regular basis. The building is always clean, and extremely presentable, and lots of fun activities for children to get involved in. A massive thank you to every member of staff in Grasshoppers for making our son's journey into the outside world so enjoyable. He loves going to nursery and is making new friends along the way. Best Day Care Nursery!

Amazing nursery, every single member of staff are just lovely, so child-focused and kind and communication from them about my daughter is brilliant. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the setting. I'd recommend Shine A Light to everyone.

What an amazing nursery! My daughter started 2 months ago and she absolutely loves it. It's all very daunting for a mother dropping off her first baby at nursery, but they made me feel very welcome as well as my daughter and at ease. All staff are lovely and always have a smile on their face. I know my daughter is in safe hands and I trust them all. Thank you all.

Shine A Light Nursery has been so so wonderful at looking after my little boy. I was really nervous about going back to work and leaving him but they were so reassuring and have always sent me lovely pictures and updates on how he was getting on. It's so lovely and heartwarming to see another person love your child as much as you do and that's what all the ladies do. I feel completely comfortable and reassured knowing that my little boy is well looked after and cared for as if he was at home with us. I know he has so much fun with the ladies and all the other children but had also come on leaps and bounds with his milestones. Thank you so much Shine A Light.

Shine A Light Day Nursery has been amazing since day one. I'm so glad my little girl has attended here, she's been so looked after, nurtured and taught throughout all her stages from starting at 9 months old to now nearly 4. The staff give 100% to all the children and parents. Parents are well informed using the app and in person when briefed each night on pick-up. The staff know each child on such an individual basis you just know everyone is happy to be there. I am never worried about leaving my child and even on days when upset I just know within minutes they know how to settle her and she's happy playing. Management has always given that personal touch and has been great to reassure me throughout transitions etc. and I had nothing to worry about. The food at the nursery is great and my little girl loves all the meals and where possible has adapted to my child's requirements. The setting is very clean and always well-maintained. Could not recommend Shine A Light enough.

A happy and friendly group of staff who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable leaving them with your child. Great facilities which are always kept as clean as possible. Everything from nutrition to activities is logged which is nice to look at while you're at work.

I can not honestly describe how much this nursery has changed my and my daughter's life. They take such care in bringing up children like they are their own. My daughter has excelled since being at this nursery and the girls are amazing! My daughter has been in and out of the hospital and the staff have supported us through everything even allowing my family to park there when visiting the hospital. They have such high standards and I can't thank everyone enough for the effort they put into each child.

This nursery is by far the best around. The staff are caring and so easy to talk to, you can really see that they care about all of the children. I had a lot of anxiety sending my daughter to nursery due to her complex needs and the use of an oxygen tank, but I have full confidence in their care. The staff ensured they did relevant training and carried out care plans and risk assessments to make sure that our child had the best care, and that is exactly what she gets! Both of my children attend this nursery and both have come on so much, they understand each of their needs and provide a nurturing environment.

Great nursery, all the staff are very welcoming and have helped our little boy settle in. Our son loves going to nursery and it is nice to know he is in a safe place with great people looking after him.

Shine A Light Nursery has been so so wonderful at looking after my little boy.
