My son recently started at Holyrood and we couldn't have wished for a better start!! The staff have been very welcoming and helpful. They have shown great care and attention to my son and he is very happy in this friendly and fun setting. Thank you!!

My daughter started her journey at Holyrood Nursery in November. The manager and the team have been fantastic from day one. Despite my daughter being a late starter they still found her a spot to play in the Nativity for Christmas which was beautiful to watch. Upon returning after the Christmas break, my daughter was very ill, they did everything they could to support her and the situation, which I am most grateful for. I would like to give huge thanks to the manager and her team for providing such a warm welcome for my daughter.

Staff at the nursery have made me feel at ease about my little boy. I feel welcome when bringing and picking up my little boy from nursery.

My son has always loved coming to nursery. He is now in preschool and gets so excited to come. They have worked incredibly hard with him and he is coming on so much. Cannot thank them enough!

We're really happy with the nursery, we love all the varied activities our child gets to do. The environment is super nice and the staff are lovely.

My daughter started at Holyrood Nursery a month ago and she absolutely loves it! No matter what mood she is in, as soon as we get to the front door she has a big smile on her face and leans towards the door to go in. I enjoy the weekly pictures of her playing at nursery and completing the numerous activities they do with her! The communication between staff and the parents is brilliant, they always let you know how they have been at the end of each day as well as let you know of any upcoming events they will be celebrating.

The nursery is absolutely amazing the staff are so friendly and wonderful with the children, The manager is fantastic she is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help. There is a great atmosphere around the nursery which made me feel extremely confident about leaving my little boy. I always recommend to my family and friends.

I have two children in the nursery, one in preschool and one in the baby room. Both my children started at 4 months old and from the day they started I have felt the care they have received has been excellent. The staff are great and I know my children are being looked after well.

Both my boys have been attending Holyrood since they were 9 months old. My eldest is now in Preschool and my youngest is in toddler 2. All the staff in all rooms are fantastic and very friendly. They do great activities and promote diversity by celebrating/explaining different events. Both my kids seem to prefer Jay's cooking over mine and eat a variety of meals! The boys play lots outside and really enjoy the sports sessions. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have two children at the nursery (ages 8 months and 3 years) and my eldest started at 9 months old and has attended the nursery since then. My youngest has just started and has settled in amazingly. My eldest loves going to nursery, has always built fantastic relationships with the staff, and is very happy there. The staff are lovely and provide fantastic learning and development opportunities for both of my boys. The variety in food is fantastic and I feel that they are allowed to eat a healthy and varied range of food. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been with the team at Holyrood Nursery for a while now and seems to have loved every minute. The staff in the baby room have been great at accommodating her and caring for her needs on a daily basis. They have kept myself and my partner updated on our daughter’s day with regular updates via the app and our daily handovers.

The nursery has gone above and beyond to settle my son in. They have helped him regulate his emotions and supplied identical resources for home to support the continuity between home and setting. They have supported him in learning BSL as well as Makaton (which they already did) to support his younger sister who is deaf, they have given him opportunities to tell his friends about the cochlear implants his sister will be receiving. Nothing is too much for them. The activities they plan are engaging, fun and educational. As a parent you are kept well informed of what is happening at the setting, the staff are welcoming and friendly and always ensure they take time to give you details of your child's day. The menu is fantastic and has a great variety for the children. My child runs in happily every day and is excited to go.

Since my little boy started, he has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are incredibly friendly and he is settling in so well. I can't speak highly enough of the nursery and will definitely be recommending it to others! We've not been here long but we already feel part of the family.

Holyrood Nursery has been exceptional since my child started 3 months ago. They've supported him with all development stages and he has come on leaps and bounds thanks to Holyrood.

My little boy absolutely loves his time at preschool. Like my daughter before him he settled in nicely due to the staff making such an effort to get to know him well. They have new and exciting things prepared for the children every day and never miss an opportunity to celebrate an event and get all the children involved. My son considers all of the staff his friends and I’m not always sure if he’s talking about someone his age or an adult when he talks about his day. His key worker has been absolutely wonderful and after our daughter attending previously it really feels like she’s part of the family. I couldn’t recommend the preschool/nursery any more.

Our daughter always has a lovely time at nursery. She is well looked after and pushed to learn new things, and she has developed really well. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and clearly know children well, often responding to the children's interests to build on their learning. Families are encouraged to be a part of nursery life and are kept well informed through home communication and well-handled handovers at the end of the day. Children are encouraged to be independent and resilient learners and are given a wide range of activities and opportunities as part of the 'actives' curriculum.

My little boy loves his time at Holyrood Nursery. He has been attending for over two years now and has always made lovely relationships with his key workers. The staff work very hard to provide the children with lots of experience including running a nativity for the preschool children, which is invaluable experience for when they attend primary school. We love this nursery and the staff and have even signed up our youngest to start in a couple of months.

My daughter started the sessional preschool in September 23. My daughter struggled to settle and I cannot thank the manager and another member of staff in particular enough for the care and cuddles they provide. They have both taken the time to get to know my daughter and know how to make her feel happy and safe. When I go to work I feel that she is well cared for and loved. My daughter talks fondly of the staff at home although she is still not quite there as far as being fully settled, she has made great progress and enjoys the activities. The Christmas performance of the wriggly nativity was fantastic and it was clear to see that all children and staff thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff really involved the children and allowed them to be themselves throughout which was lovely to see. When I ask my child's view of what she likes about preschool she says the manager and another member of staff so I think that speaks for itself!

My daughter started at Holyrood Nursery a month ago and she absolutely loves it!
