We send both our 4-year-old and our 11-month-old sons to Nuffy Bear. The staff go out of their way to care and nurture them. They tell us stories each day about how the boys get on. They are quick to respond to queries and get to know our children's personalities. We are really grateful for all their support.

I can't thank Nuffy Bear Day Nursery enough for everything they do for myself and my son who attends, the staff all go above and beyond for every child. My son loves attending the nursery, especially when I was so worried about him starting and being away from me as he has additional needs, they were very understanding and listened to my concerns. I never expected the experience we have with the nursery, my worries and concerns went away after seeing my son settle in so well. I would highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a nursery to put their children in. A big thank you to all the Nuffy Bear Nursery staff.

My son loves coming to Nuffy Bear Cottingley. The staff are absolutely fantastic with him and his needs. Nothing is too much trouble. At the start of his nursery days it was a worry (mum anxiety) how he would settle in. Thank goodness he had the loving care of the nursery staff who always reassured me. I'm so happy he is taken care of in a nurturing way.

Nuffy Bear has been absolutely amazing, been bringing my children for the last 6 years and wow what a difference it has made to my children's confidence and attitude. We will be sad to say goodbye.

I've had nothing but a good experience the past few years my son's been coming to the nursery. I've seen a massive improvement in my son's speech, confidence and his skills.

Amazing Nursey would recommend and the staff is amazing. My daughter loves going there and she loves it. I will be happy that she’s in a settled place where she feels safe and happy.

Our son has settled into the baby room so well and the staff have been amazing with him. His development has been great and the environment is very welcoming. He can't wait for the summer months to be able to play in the outside space and go for more walks around the lake.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for 9 weeks now. She's settled in so well. The staff are all so friendly and my daughter's development has come on so well since starting here. I would highly recommend this nursery!

All the staff are very kind and friendly, and they do a fantastic job of looking after my son making him very happy at nursery. Every day he's there he learns more and has a fun activity to do and I think they do a fantastic job.

Excellent nursery. Provided extra settling-in sessions when my daughter struggled. Moved her up to the toddler room early when she clearly needed it, and she loves it. Very flexible and accommodating, if possible, for extra ad-hoc sessions. Sensible approach when a child is unwell.

My daughter has been attending Nuffy Bear for the past two years, and my 14-month-old for the past three months. They both love all the staff at Cottingley, and they are all so incredibly supportive. They all always have a smile on their face, which makes drop-off that little bit easier! The staff work so hard in helping the children learn and develop through guided play, independent play and conversation. Any points in my little ones' development that I have been working on at home, I have mentioned to the staff, and they implement ways to help them at nursery, which is definitely helping with their progress. They all go above and beyond for the little ones, and it is reflected in how happy they are at nursery. Thank you to all the staff at Cottingley for all your hard work.

My daughter has been a part of this wonderful nursery for over a year, and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. The caring and dedicated staff have created a nurturing environment that has not only helped my daughter grow, but has also provided me with peace of mind. The progress she’s made is remarkable and it really is down to the quality of learning, playtime and care she has received. Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is truly a place where my daughter thrives and receives the best care and education. Thank you to the whole team.

My daughter joined at 10 months and she’s now just over 2 - she is so excited to go every week, she squeals as we enter the car park. They do so much everyday! Staff are great, communication is really good. The rooms, equipment and whole environment is spotless - would highly recommend.

Our son has been at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery for 7 months now - we can see the care that every person at the nursery puts into his well-being and time there. He loves going so much that we never have any tantrums at drop-off - he’s straight into playing. We really like the regular development updates that we get from his key worker and that we get requests for input into his education every month. We can see how he is developing and being around the other children is really helping him progress.

My little boy started when he was 6 months old and I was very nervous about him settling in. The ladies were absolutely brilliant with him and now one month later he is all smiles during drop-off and pickup! I am kept updated by the app and I get photos and videos throughout the day so I can see what he is doing which really helps calm my mama nerves down!

Helpful and friendly staff, who genuinely care about my daughter. The setting is very welcome with lots of toys and activities. Lovely grounds. The pond makes for great walks and my daughter likes spotting the geese that nest here each year.

I have always found the staff at Nuffy Bear to be friendly, professional and child-focused. My son's individual needs are met, and I would absolutely recommend this nursery and preschool to other parents.

Good nursery, very friendly staff. My daughter had two tough weeks settling in but the staff were very patient and now she loves coming to nursery.

Our son has always enjoyed his time at Nuffy Bear. We looked for a nursery which could offer our child lots of activities because he is always on the go! He has attended for 2 years now. Recently, the manager and staff have been working super hard to get a good Ofsted following a shocking result from a previous inspection. As a parent I was shocked at the result because I know that my child is very happy there, so felt the previous result was an unfair reflection. Ofsted result now is good following a recent inspection and this reflects the environment. The staff really care about the children, plan lots of activities to keep them entertained and the food options are very good. Our son has some allergies and the nursery work with us through the process of elimination and tailors his diet accordingly. He is always happy to go to nursery, has made some lovely little friends and loves the staff, in particular his key worker. Great little nursery.
