Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Mirfield is a lovely nursery. My little boy has been going 2 to 3 days a week for nearly 3 years. He started in the baby room, then the toddler room and now in the preschool room. He enjoys the daily activities, the playground, going on short walks outside nursery and going to the field and park. He loves the food too. Lovely staff and good at promoting independence.

My daughter has been at Stepping Stones for about 18 months. She attends full-time, 5 days a week long days and she absolutely loves being there. Every day she gets excited about going in and every day she is doing different things and it amazes me the things she's learning all the time. The staff are fun and vibrant and super caring.

My little one is a very fussy eater. The nursery helped by allowing us to help prepare our own food, snacks and baking. Didn't like leaving mummy and daddy but the nursery has helped so much with this and now can't wait to get into the nursery to see staff and friends.

The nursery workers at Mirfield are lovely. My daughter isn't a big fan of going to nursery in a morning (a little bit of separation anxiety), but she very quickly settles down into her day at nursery and always comes home saying she's had a great time. She loves the preschool leader who is her favourite person at Stepping Stones. I have always had positive interactions with staff and feel comfortable leaving my child in their care knowing they will do the best for her.

I cannot fault this nursery! Right from the baby room to preschool my little boy has loved it. The staff, the setting, the outside area and more recently for us the preschool learning opportunities are exceptional as school fast approaches we will definitely miss attending Stepping Stones!

My son is in the Toddler Room. I am happy he has settled in the room. Staff are very caring and give me a good detailed handover. I also get to see pictures of him on the app of what activities he has been doing. I am happy that he has made a lovely bond with all staff at the nursery. He enjoys the lovely meals that are prepared freshly on a daily basis by the cook. I don't have to worry about anything as he is a happy little boy at nursery which shows that staff are doing a wonderful job. Thank you.

We are really happy with the care our children receive. Transitions into the next room up have been done really smoothly and the range of activities offered to the children is fantastic. The children are always happy to go and talk about staff fondly - we are really pleased with how settled they are.

My little boy is in the toddler room and has been since last year. He absolutely loves the staff and even asks to go to the nursery at the weekend.

Stepping Stones is a lovely nursery. My son started here at the age of one and the staff have been so caring, friendly and supportive of both me and my son. I am amazed at all the fun activities and creative projects/games etc. the children get involved in. I feel like the nursery have played a vital role in his development. I would recommend to anyone looking for a happy, caring and safe space for their little ones. I always feel reassured that he is in safe hands and they are in tune with his needs. Stepping Stones in Mirfield is a very clean nursery. Staff are very friendly. The nursery has excellent facilities. My experience with staff is that they are very good with communication and very accommodating. Staff are very knowledgeable, non-judgemental and just overall a pleasure to see day to day. Meals are tasty and healthy. My child loves coming to this nursery, they are so excited when they see we have arrived in the morning. Staff have been incredible in building routines. I feel my child is safe at nursery and I am confident she is getting amazing care.

My child has settled really nicely into nursery, he loves his key person and speaks about her at home as well as nursery, his communication has improved and interaction with other children. He is making progress and always comes home happy.

My child has been in preschool now for five months and is thriving in his environment and loves coming to nursery and he loves the staff members.

My boy came to the nursery over one year ago. When he started he could hardly speak. I can see how he's developed day by day and it's just amazing every time I see something new he never did before.

I love how much my child has progressed since joining this nursery and learning new stuff all the time. He loves one staff member in particular, he calls her his best friend! The staff are always helpful and caring. I've never had an issue. I was very worried when he started as I hated leaving him sad, but he settled in very quickly and the staff always reassured me and kept me up to date with his day.

My son has attended since March 2023 and is very happy. Staff are very kind and he has lots of fun. Nursery is clean and tidy.

I have two children who attend Stepping Stones. My daughter (three years old) has been going for two years and has always been unsure of new people and new circumstances, so her settling in was a bit rocky. However, the staff at Stepping Stones really helped and gave us extra support to ensure she was settled in and communicated to me regularly about her progress. Nursery is now one of her favourite places. Everyone is so friendly and, with it being a smaller setting, everyone knows everyone so it really helped. My son (sixteen months) started five months ago and has taken to the nursery instantly. One member of staff in the baby room is one of his favourite people and she has really made sure that he has settled into a good routine there. On the whole, my children love the nursery. They are always doing new and exciting activities and I get a good update for both on how their day has been when I collect them.

I cannot sing the praises of the staff at Stepping Stones Nursery Mirfield enough. All are incredibly friendly and welcoming and provide superb care for my children. The detail given at the end of each day is fantastic and both children really enjoy going. It’s a pleasure to hear about their day. I have seen so much development in them both since they started at the nursery and this is all down to the staff. The range of food on offer is great, as are the activities and outdoor areas.

Our son enjoys attending nursery. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. They have good indoor and outdoor facilities for him to run around and burn off energy. We know he gets taken good care of while he is there. Our only criticism is we never get to know the personal details of his day. We are informed of what he eats or how long he's slept but we want to know what/who he has been playing with and his development. Overall we highly recommend Stepping Stones.

Stepping Stones in Mirfield is a very clean nursery. Staff are very friendly. The nursery has excellent facilities.
