I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with Little Owls Nursery Laurel Bank where my daughter was attending. Unfortunately, my daughter had an accident at the nursery resulting in a broken leg. From the start, it was apparent that there were inadequate measures in place to ensure the safety of the children. The incident where my daughter broke her leg was a prime example of the lack of care and supervision provided by the nursery. After a health and safety review carried out by the Council, it showed that staff on the day of the accident were out of date on their first aid qualifications. This is apparent that they moved my daughter instead of waiting for medical professionals. The staff members showed little urgency in seeking medical attention for my daughter by not phoning for an ambulance straight away and then waiting for 30 minutes until both parents arrived until they would call an ambulance. Then it took another 30 minutes for the ambulance to arrive.
