My 2 year old started at this nursery in November and he settled so quickly, I think because of the amazing care of all the staff. Everyone knows his name and greets him as he enters, he runs in every day excited to see them. He was so keen to go more that I even increased his hours in February so now he is full time. Communication is excellent, we are kept updated throughout the day of everything he is doing and any queries I have had for management have been answered straight away. All the staff make regular observations on his learning progress and encourage us to share pictures and stories from home as well. They take the children out on day trips regularly and there is also the option to pay a little extra for classes like yoga and drama. They also play outside for most of the day in their big garden which my boy loves.

My daughter has been going for the last 3 weeks and she's absolutely loving it, she's come along so much in a short period of time, she's settled in so well, and all the staff are fantastic, and they really care about the children which is lovely to see! My daughter loves all the girls and it's so reassuring as a parent knowing your child is well looked after and cared for. They do loads of activities and get the children involved which I love aswel! The Communication is also fantastic and it's so nice to get regular updates and photos from your child's keyworker. My only regret is not having her start earlier.

We lived the rustic outdoor play area and our boys love to be at nursery, feels very family oriented unlike other corporate driven nurseries, staff is amazing very hands on and kids love doing all the activities there.

I can't even put into words how amazing this nursery is and how the staff go above and beyond for our children. This is truly one of my daughter's favourite happy places to be. I couldn't thank the staff every single one of them for what they do.

Truly amazing nursery & staff!! I would highly recommend this nursery to people. The setting is lovely and very thought out. The level of effort put into not only the day to day for the children but out of hours events for children and parents is so thoughtful. All staff are lovely and every single one will go above and beyond for your child and also for you as a parent. Thank you for all that you do at Nurtured Wakefield!

Lovely nursery and staff is amazing. My daughter attends nursery once a week and she really enjoys spending time there. Staff is very caring, respectful and understanding. Nursery are amazing with meeting my daughters dietary needs due her eczema. They provide so much different activities for kids including days out. My heart is always at peace when she is attending nursery. Also staff provides updates on app so you always know what your child is doing. Thank you everyone for your amazing work.

After a bad start to nursery life for my 2 year old I changed to Nurtured, I now send my 2 year old and 1 yr old! Both are thriving in a safe and homely nursery! As a nervous mum I can not recommend the nursery enough my girls do so many activities every single time they go, daily outdoor fun, baking, crafts and trips! The staff are so welcoming to Parents and children! The chef is brilliant my children and fussy eaters and have started to try new foods! I personally can not recommend the nursery enough I feel like I'm leaving my children at a family members home rather than a nursery!

My boy started nursery at 20 months, he is a confident little boy but struggled to settle. All the staff really went out of their way to help him settle & understand him (he still isn't speaking). We cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and dedication to ensuring the children in their care are happy, learning, engaging & "nurtured". He always has fun (even when he had initially been upset at drops offs) and for the last 2 weeks has been dropped off without any upset. This is a testament to how hard the girls work to ensure the children feel secure, comfort them when they are upset, and make sure they are having the best time. The staff work so hard & you can see how much they love the job & care for the little people they are working with. Communication is fantastic, and nothing is too much trouble for any staff. I cannot think of a better setting for my boy, and happily recommend Nurtured for anyone looking for a rich, safe, and loving environment for their mini me's.

We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience at Nurtured Wakefield! The care and attention our little one receives is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly warm, nurturing, and always go the extra mile to ensure each child feels safe, happy, and engaged. The nursery's curriculum is diverse and stimulating, incorporating a wonderful mix of play-based learning, creative activities, and outdoor exploration. Our child has made tremendous progress in their social and cognitive development, thanks to the dedicated and knowledgeable staff. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and designed to create an inviting and comfortable environment for the children. We also appreciate the regular updates and communication from the staff, keeping us informed about our child's daily activities and milestones.

We love the nursery. My son is currently in toddler section and what matter to me is he enjoys it. The staff are always good with keeping you up to date. My oldest also attended this nursery. This will be my second baby at the nursery and it's the best decision we made.

Since my little boy has started at Nurtured Wakefield he has come on in leaps and bounds. We moved him to a nursery after him not settling at a previous childminder, the setting is so welcoming and calm. He instantly settled and has made lovely bonds with all the staff, we constantly are kept up to date with his progress and learning. Definitely peace of mind that my child is getting the care and support he needs for his journey in nursery.

We are very happy. Excellent staff. My little girl likes too much. She doesn't like to come back home. Staff are very kind and responsible. My little girl eats less, but she likes to eat at nursery so it is a good benefit for the baby. I love this nursery.

We have recently moved our daughter into Nurtured Wakefield and are so glad that we made this decision! The staff have all been so accommodating and made the transition so smooth for us and our daughter. We have seen such improvement in her confidence and development, most importantly she is really happy going into the nursery. It's clear all the staff really care for the children and have their best interests at heart. We have the upmost confidence when dropping our daughter off that she will be safe and cared for. All the staff recognise our daughter after only a few weeks, showing the extra effort they're going to make her welcome. Communication throughout the day is fantastic and there's such variety on offer in terms of activities and food. The nursery is regularly putting on extra events for the children and families, creating a real community feel. Thank you to all the staff!

I am really happy with my choice to send my daughter to Nurtured. Staff are welcoming and helpful. They keep me updated with pictures, posts and messages throughout the day. They have a range of different activities she can get involved with. My daughter found nursery difficult at the start, but the staff and management kept in contact with me and put a plan in place to help her feel more comfortable. Since this, she is now thriving at nursery which is a big relief knowing she is in safe hands. She is flourishing at Nurtured, it is a warm and nurturing environment, and it is clear that staff are dedicated to creating a positive and enriching experience.

Have been pleased with Nurtured so far. Everyone is lovely to my child and I feel they are safe left in their care. I like the updates I get throughout the day in the nursery app too. My favourite thing about this nursery is that the outside space is generous in size, especially compared to others in the area, and it is full of nature and big trees which was important to me as we don't have a garden of our own. They spend lots of time outside and don't let the weather stop them, they just wrap up warm which I love. My child really enjoys going!

Both of my children have attended the nursery over the last three years and I am so pleased they did. It has changed hands in that time and has seen many improvements to keep children safe, happy and loving learning. Over the last year, my youngest has enjoyed toddlers and is now loving what preschool has to offer. She has come on so much with her speech and confidence and has made some strong friendships with pupils. The staff all work tremendously hard to stay up to date with policy and practice, to keep children safe and to provide next steps and numerous learning opportunities. Staff have especially worked hard to bring a buzz to nursery this month with the crafts and activities brought about by Halloween. The scare-fest event for families to bring the children to and take part in a number of fun activities has been a real highlight and is hopefully the start of more moments like this. We loved spending time with our daughters in an environment they feel safe in!

I have a lovely and wonderful experience with this nursery with my 2 boys. All staff are lovely and understanding of any concerns shared with them. The office staff have good listening ears and are supportive whenever I have issues with payment and family lives especially when I lost my mum. Well done to the staff because they have a unique teamwork.

Absolutely brilliant nursery, would 100% recommend it to anybody looking for their children. The meals sound absolutely delicious! The activities that they do sound and look really fun. Overall brilliant.

Nurtured @ Wakefield is a lovely place. The staff are all kind and welcoming with a clear passion for looking after young children. The whole team know my daughter by name and has made an effort to get to know me and my husband. The team go above and beyond to organise extracurricular activities on a regular basis and is clearly very good at organising group events for parents and carers to attend. Safeguarding is clearly high on the team's agenda as all of the staff are aware of the do's and do not's within the setting and are not afraid to challenge any concerns. For example, I have been asked to put my phone away on an occasion when I forgot that it shouldn't be used around other children. This for me is a huge positive and makes me feel like my daughter is safe. I am always made to feel welcome and feel like I can stay and chat as if I am a member of the team. I feel very lucky to have found Nutured @ Wakefield.
