The only nursery I looked at that I was happy to send my baby girl to, after going for 3 months, my opinion hasn't changed! It's lovely and all the staff are so caring. I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Happy with the nursery. Seems to of settled really well, only bits of feedback I would give is- I would say the baby room could do with a bit more organisation for the child's belongings possibly named sections for each child? Seem to have missing items or be in something that isn't my child's on almost every visit. Would also love some photos every now and again on the app throughout the day what child has been up to.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery! Our child loves going every day. The staff are always smiling and energetic, greeting him warmly at the door. They create a fun-filled day, and we really appreciate the detailed updates and ideas for activities to do at home. It's a truly joyful place for him to be.

My daughter has been attending here since September 2024 when she turned 1, still crawling and not speaking! It's always hard trusting someone else with your baby and it's even tougher when they are so little and rely on others to look after their every need. I have to say that Kids Planet staff have made everything so easy for me and my daughter, from settling-in sessions to communication, to drop off and pick-ups. It took a while for my daughter to settle in since she was only going once or twice a week but the staff adapted their way of working with her to make everything easy for her. They let me take her own sleeping bag so she was comfortable whilst napping and make sure her comfort Teddy was never far behind her. The staff are amazing and it's the personal touches I really appreciate, from the updates on the app to the little homemade gifts at Christmas. My daughter loves nursery and I can go to work confident and happy she is going to be loved and looked after as I would expect.

My little girl is 10 months old and has only been going to this nursery a short time, but she absolutely loves going! She is so excited to see all the staff, and when I collect her on an evening she has the biggest smile on her face after having a fun filled day! Staff are so friendly, professional and they also leave you at ease with leaving your little ones. They really do go above and beyond and their care is just second to none. Thank you for all your hard work ladies! Me and my daughter appreciate you so much!

We are not from the area so I was really weary about finding the correct setting for my 2 children. I was recommended Kids Planet, Whitwood by several people and it was the best decision I ever made. My now 4-year-old loved her time here, they helped me with a referral to Speech and Language, supporting her in many ways and she absolutely loved her time there. My 2-year-old joined when she was 16 months old, and they supported and still do with her social skills and keep me up to date via the app/phone. I feel very settled with her being at this setting and she is coming on leaps and bounds from attending. Thank you so much!

My son has been attending nursery for over 6 months now. All the staff are really lovely and have a genuine care for the children. The setting is warm and welcoming and has great facilities. I am kept updated throughout the day on how he's eating/napping and how many nappy changes he has as long with lovely pictures of him playing. My son can be difficult at drop off times but the staff handle this really well and he soon settles.

Absolutely love kids planet, my son loves going to nursery and usually runs happily in to the setting and the room. They are being very helpful with arranging meetings to discuss my son development as and when needed. He seems happy here which is amazing. Happy to answer any questions you have etc.

My little boy started here 2 weeks ago and my only thought is why didn't I get him in here sooner! The staff are amazing making sure he is happy and settled. I receive daily updates letting me know what he's been up to and how much he is enjoying it. From the minute we came to look round we knew this is the place where we wanted him to be. The nursery is fantastic and so are the staff.

My daughter has been attending Whitwood Nursery for a few months now. She loves going and has gained a lot of friends whilst being there. The activities the staff do with the children are brilliant and my daughter can not wait to get in most days to take part during December they also invite the parents to join in with nursery activities to celebrate. They use a good software to update parents about children's progress and it is great to get notifications popping up to tell me what my daughter has been up to, what she's eaten, and what level she's working at. Thank you for your hard work!

My son is 2 and a half years old. He had never been to a babysitter or any nursery before. At Kids Planet, everyone was understanding, kind, and joyful. Of course, the first day he cried, and the next days as well, but day by day he became more and more willing to talk about a new day in nursery. The nursery is of good size and is equipped with Montessori toys that immediately delighted my son. The kindergarten is well secured and my child can feel safe there.

Really lovely nursery. My daughter attended nursery first when she was 2 years old. I was really apprehensive about leaving her. She cried when I initially took her, but within a few weeks of attending she absolutely loved attending. She really came out of her shell and gained so much confidence. I have then felt very comfortable sending my little boy there. He has recently turned one but I know he is in really good hands and well cared for. All the staff are always friendly and really good with the kids.

My daughter started at Kids Planet just before her 1st birthday. She is now in tots room and is thriving. The staff are so attentive and accommodating. My little girl loves her time at nursery. We recently received a gorgeous bag of Christmas artwork which was a lovely touch for the festive period.

Excellent care and facilities at the Whitwood Nursery. My son bonded with the staff at pre-school and adjusted instantly. Never had any issues and I feel at ease knowing that my child is receiving exceptional care while I am at work. It is evident that the staff really care for the children and are passionate about the work that they do. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Kids Planet Whitwood are amazing; they look after my little boy with such good care. I was anxious at first to put him in a private nursery; however, the ladies and the management made me feel at ease, and now I wouldn't have my child go to any other nursery. The staff and ladies are always on hand to answer any questions I may have - thank you.

From seasoned parents, if you're looking for a local nursery this is definitely the best we've come across. We've got three children and the first two went to a different local nursery and I must say that Kids Planet Whitwood blows it out of the water in so many ways. The staff are brilliant with your youngsters, they provide more frequent updates, they seem to know your child's personality much more and I've arrived early for pick-up and seen some of the amazing activities they do with the children. It's clean and incredibly professional. They've recently launched a new programme to provide free nappies, milk and baby wipes too which is very helpful not just to help me remember but to save costs too. The rooms are really well set up and new - with really good activities, games and interactive things for the kids to do and these often change.

This is an outstanding nursery in a lovely purpose-designed building. The nursery nurses are all very loving and caring, making the extra effort to build relationships with the children. My daughter has gone since she was a year old during Covid, so has been in the baby room, playroom and now in the preschool room. I have never had any problems and have always had an immediate response from the management team if I have ever needed anything.

When your eldest son gets in the car after a day at Hillside and says Mummy I'm so happy, what more could I ask for? It makes me happy knowing he feels that way. At the beginning of the year my youngest started attending and weirdly I was much more anxious, he was starting at a younger age than when my eldest did. My worries soon disappeared after the second session when he happily went to his key worker. I could not ask for better key workers to look after my children. I feel like they're part of my family. I feel like every day they return after a session and they've changed and that is down to their key workers encouraging their development. I can't recommend Hillside Childcare enough. Everyone there is simply amazing. Keep it up.

Kids Planet Whitwood are amazing; they look after my little boy with such good care.
