Daisy Day Nursery have been fantastic at looking our little girl! She only started nursery in January 2025 and has settled in extremely quickly. A huge thank you to Nursery Practitioners who have been absolutely brilliant with our daughter.
Daisy Day has been great. Our son has attended since he was 10 months old and everyone was so reassuring and fab at settling him in. The team are really flexible with booking days which is perfect for us due to working shifts. Our son has a great time
My son has been attending Daisy day Llanishen since he was just over a year over he is now 4 and still loves it. He has progressed so much, his development overall I give credit to all the hard work the staff at this nursery give to each child. I get regular communication throughout the day and anything I feel I need to communicate there is always someone on hand to help. I have never had an issue with my son wanting to attend. He looks forward to being at the nursery even on a weekend when it's closed! I find that I have been able to add extra days last minute if the nursery have the availability and always feel welcomed by all. Thank you Daisy Day Llanishen for your continuous commitment to my son development and wellbeing whilst with you.
My son is currently in Daisy Day Llanishen, and has been for 3 years. He absolutely loves it there and myself and his mum have the upmost confidence in the staff who always go the extra mile. I would happily recommend Daisy Day to anyone looking to put their child in a safe environment, which is without question way Daisy Day Llanishen offers.
The nursery is really welcoming and my child has been very happy in each room they have gone to as they have grown. My son is happy and likes all the staff and is happy going in and coming home. I get good regular updates on his day and he enjoys playing in the garden. It is clean and well maintained and i am happy he is safe and having a good time while I am at work. He has also learned to love crafts and is starting to sing and speak in Welsh and English from his learning through play.
Amazing nursery with very high standards of care. The staff are delightful, and despite the size - all the staff make an effort to know my child. They have lots of varied activities so children don't bored. I would highly recommend
Our youngest started last year and after a tough settling-in period, she now loves it! The staff were very supportive and welcoming and put us at ease during the first few weeks. The variety of food and activities keeps her entertained during her days there.
My son joined the nursery in December 2023, the getting to know you session and settling in process was great and made us as parents feel very reassured and more importantly my son has settled well. We’ve seen his development come on leaps and bounds within the space of a few weeks. The communication at pick-up and drop-off from members of staff is also good and the nursery app is brilliant and puts me at ease having updates throughout the day. I’ve also been impressed with the meals that are prepared for the children, my son can not only feed himself better but has been trying a good variety of foods.
Daisy Day are always very informative about events and what’s going on during that week. We are regularly updated with child progress and what they have been doing that day/week through the app but also given a condensed run through when we pick up that day which I enjoy. The nursery is very secure which puts me at ease and my child gets a lot of outdoor time which is very important to us. The food is varied which is helping with our picky eating. All staff have been lovely and my child loves to see them on the days she is in. Overall we are very impressed and feel our child is safe in the more than competent hands of the nursery.
My eldest daughter has attended Daisy Day Nursery for two years and her little sister has recently joined. They impressed me from the very first visit, the building is kept in an excellent condition, the cleaners are often onside and visible. The facilities inside and out are great, with lots of different and engaging toys for the appropriate ages. The care shown by the nursery staff is second to none, every member of staff is friendly and welcoming. The staff put out different activities, including lots of sensory/messy play, and we receive updates throughout the day to say what the children have done and eaten. My daughter loves it there and runs up to the staff in morning. I can't recommend them enough.
We had a tough settling in period but the staff were so reassuring, friendly and understanding that it made things easier for both me and my son. Now he is settled he loves going to Daisy Day Nursery. He gets super excited every morning as we leave the house and when he gets dropped off. It is lovely to know that he is having the best time and is nice to see him so proud to bring home the crafts he has made. We love the app they use so we can see what he's up to during the day. The building is secure and clean. Food is varied and prepared on-site.
My daughter has been coming for some time, my elder daughter also used to attend. It's always a lovely welcoming environment for my daughter, she loves it and now we are on Christmas break, she keeps asking when she can go back. She has some lovely bonds with staff members there and always feels safe and happy at nursery... her highlight is the orange bus!
The staff are always friendly at drop off and pick up. They have good communication at pick up and also on the app during the day if updates are needed about something in particular. When needing extra days the communication with the management is great and they always get back to you very quickly. The staff are very good with allergies which keeps us parents at ease.
The staff are caring and attentive. They provide lovely feedback of what the kids have been doing and learning. The kids all seem happy and there is plenty to do. They often take the older children on trips, which they love. The wrap around service is reliable and affordable. Management have always got back to queries very quickly and have been amenable to change in days etc. Very good.
We were regular attenders of Daisy Daycare until September 22, when our children left due to school catchments. Having now experienced other childcare, we can categorically commend Daisy on their very well managed and run nursery. The organisation and responsiveness of Daisy is impressive and has very clear and fair pricing. Our children have returned for Camp Coconuts during the summer holidays and they were treated like royalty. We are very pleased that Daisy has been there for us as a family over the years.
Lovely setting, safeguarding a priority and great key worker who knows my child very well. Child takes part in painting and creative activities as well as going on trips and walks to the local area. A good experience so far, thank you!
Our eldest has been going to Daisy Day since she was 11 months and now our youngest goes too. The facilities are great, but it's the staff that make it - the majority go out of their way to help you and your children and that is worth the world as busy parents trying to juggle life's demands. My only issue would be with the cost, but fully appreciate that is an issue across the board within a seriously underfunded industry. I would wholeheartedly recommend, and have recommended, Daisy Day to others.
My son has been at Daisy Day Nursery since 2020 and he loves it. He has food allergies and I have always been confident that the team know what to do if he does have a reaction. It also makes me happy that even though some of the food needs tweaking for him, it never sounds like he's missing out as the meals sound great. But most of all, the care and attention from the team have really struck me, he genuinely seems excited to go in in the mornings.
Fantastic staff, care, facilities, etc. My only complaint would be that when your child is on antibiotics they can’t go to nursery for the first 48 hours. I’m not sure what research this is based on. Most children have an allergic reaction to a drug within the first hour since taking it. My mum is a specialist allergy nurse and I just don’t understand the reason for this policy. And having asked staff they don’t understand the reasoning either. My child has been on the same antibiotic eye drops two or three times and has had to miss nursery because of this ridiculous policy! It causes huge stress to parents who have no other childcare. We’re also paying for those days our child is not looked after by the nursery. This policy needs to be looked at asap.
