Both my kids have been at Pear Tree Church Street and we've had a really positive experience. Our son will be leaving for our local council nursery in a few months and I know he'll really miss it. Even on days when he's feeling shy at drop off, as happens with lots of kids, the staff are always really kind and supportive, and keep us updated on his mood after we leave.

Our daughter has been at Church Street for almost 2 years now and we couldn't be happier with it! The staff are wonderful, so caring and nothing is ever too much for them. We had never done a private nursery before so didn't know what to expect but can't recommend them enough and know our daughter feels safe and secure there. The building and facilities have had an update recently with the children's best interests taking into account when planning it all. I love the photos and updates throughout her day as well. The staff are all kind and our daughter has made such a lovely bond with some of them, they seem to genuinely care. I also feel she has come on a lot with things from nursery too and seems to have build nice friendships. Thank you!

My daughter has came on leaps and bounds since joining nursery. I was very nervous to leave her in someone else's care when I returned back to work but the staff are great and caring with the children and I feel comfortable leaving my daughter there whilst I'm at work knowing all her needs are met and more. Thank you Church Street!

Our daughter has been going to Pear Tree, church street now for just over a year, and I can't thank the staff enough. For the care of our daughter but also us as parents. It can be a nervous time the thought of someone else you don't know looking after your child. But every step, conversation and visit, made us feel like a part of a family. Thank you.

Our two children have been at Pear Tree for 4 years now and we have had only positive experiences. The staff are all very caring and have helped our children grow and learn since joining. Everyone is welcoming when we arrive and let us know each day what the children have been doing.

My daughter got enrolled to Pear Tree Nursery Church Street branch recently. The team are super nice and made my daughter feel super comfy. The environment is very informal and the staff members are approachable. The nursery has ample of space both for the outdoor and indoor activities. Overall a superb experience so far!

The nursery is great, my child seems very happy there, a lot of time is spent outdoors. There are lots of arts, crafts and baking. The updates in the app are full of photos and are lengthy. My child eats well and comes home happy. The garden is big, the toys available are varied and the staff seems very hands on. There is very minimal turnover of staff, which helps my son to feel there like home. The Pear Tree Nursery Church Street branch accommodates smaller children, which definitely helps my son to feel confident there. This is our second child at this nursery and having had experience with few other in the area and Edinburgh, this one is by far the best.

This is a wonderful nursery with amazing staff! Our daughter absolutely loves coming here. The amenities for the children are fantastic and the huge secure garden at the rear of the property is perfect with plenty to do. With occasional outings in and around the town which gives the children other things to see and do. With full updates from the staff each evening, our daughter is well looked after and the app lets us know what's going on and what's been happening each day as well as her sleep times and meals. Seeing all the uploaded pictures each day lets us see her daily activities is fantastic. I can't praise the staff enough here, their care and attention to the children is amazing. I'd recommend this nursery 100% to anyone wanting the best for their children's nursery care.

Pear Tree Nursery Church Street is a really lovely nursery. The staff are fabulous and our little one has settled in well! We get lots of updates throughout the day which is great. It's reassuring to know he's in good hands.

My son attended Pear Tree Nursery Church Street for almost 2 years and the care was exceptional. He adored all the staff and he just loved being there. There was never a day that he hesitated to go and all the staff were just so lovely and nurturing. He will always remember his time there. Thank you to all.

We absolutely love the team at Pear Tree Church Street. The care they provide is excellent and we always have confidence that our little one will be safe and happy. He loves nursery and the staff and we always appreciate how well-informed we are throughout the day and when we do pick-ups.

The staff at the nursery go above and beyond to make sure my son is well looked after. This is particularly evident in the detailed personal handovers during pick up. Activities and resources are well varied and no two days are ever the same. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery.

Since starting at nursery in August 2024 we have felt nothing but support, care, and attention from Pear Tree, Church Street. It's hard leaving your baby with strangers for the first time but all the staff made it so easy for us and my child loves all the staff there. I completely trust them with my child and he has the best time there.

Our son has been attending Church Street since he was 16 months old and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are always friendly and genuinely care about the children. The facilities are amazing, the garden is large and secure and the children are allowed plenty of time to enjoy it. The app is great for getting updates as are the staff on pick-up times.

Both my children have been to this nursery and have been very happy there. I feel like the staff know them well and I feel like I am leaving them in safe and capable hands. Working in a nursery must be a challenging job but the atmosphere is always calm and happy. If there has ever been an issue, e.g a child having a trip/fall or being upset or unsettled, I have been informed straight away. Private nurseries are always a big financial outgoing but this nursery is comparable if not less expensive than some other nurseries in the area and I feel it provides good value for money with long opening hours and all meals provided.

My child has thrived in his time being at this nursery. The staff have always been fantastic and are all great role models. The facilties are incredible, especially the garden and the large room upstairs. The selection of food they are giving is incredible and it blows my mind each week when we receive the weeks menu. The app and updates/photos from the day is something I really enjoy seeing. As a parent, I couldn't be happier for my son being part of this nursery with its lovely staff/other children and facilities.

Excellent nursery, with friendly and engaging staff who genuinely place the development, care and well being of the children at the heart of everything they do. The facilities are excellent with a great outdoor space and positioned locally in a quiet part of town close to parks and green spaces for regular days out.

Excellent facilities, staff and activities for my energy abundant son. He moved up to the 2-3 class early as he was ready at 18 months and the staff dealt with the transition very smoothly and made sure my son was comfortable with the switch. He is now advancing very well in the older class with his peers and his speech coming along very well.

This nursery is amazing and all of the staff are fantastic. We are so grateful for all the help and amazing care they give to our little girl.

Our Son is with Pear Tree and is greeted by the team every morning, always with friendly interaction and what seems to be personal relationships. He is happy playing in the garden most days and on collection each day the team gives a summary of the day. Couldn't fault the team, facilities, and garden.. Thanks.
