View Full Details of Busy Bees Livingston VillageThe nursery is very welcoming and I'm getting lots more feedback regarding my child and new things are being introduced like stay and play for parents and it's lovely seeing more children playing in the gardens than before.
Our child has been attending this nursery since he was 11 months old and is about to turn 3 soon. It has been incredible to watch him grow and thrive from this nursery setting. The staff are extremely professional, nurturing and friendly. It is always a bonus to collect a happy child, knowing he has had a good day, has eaten and napped well. They really do cater for the individual interests of the child.
The staff are lovely and show genuine care for the children. My daughter talks about her key worker a lot and enjoys her days there! They have a great outdoor space which the children can move in and out of freely. The only thing I would change would be to have more photos/observations uploaded on the app as there are not that many. As parents, it’s great to see as we miss the moments of them playing/smiling.
My daughter absolutely loves to go to Busy Bees Livingston Village even though she usually struggles in busy places she can’t wait to go and see the children and staff. The staff members in particular who my daughter adores.
This staff at the nursery is great! They are kind people who know how to engage and nurture with the children. I felt safe whenever I left my little boy at this nursery because I knew he would be in good hands.
My son attended Busy Bees, Livingston from age 11 months old until 3 years old. During his time at the nursery, I have seen a great improvement in his social and developmental skills. The staff create a nurturing and loving environment for all the children. Busy Bees also supported specific dietary and medical requirements for my son and made sure these were always adhered to. I must mention that the nursery's efforts to continue providing care and support to the children during the Covid pandemic were truly commendable. It provided a lot of comfort to me and my wife knowing that our son was in safe hands during such a challenging time. I would like to extend a special thanks to one of the early years educators, who was my son's main carer when he started. She was always there to offer guidance and support, not only for my son but for us as parents as well. We are really grateful for her efforts and the impact she has had on our son's life.
This is a great place with great staff, especially 2-3 years class. We have had 2 of our kids pass through this nursery before our first one went into P1. We always recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place for their kids.
My child has been at the nursery for a number of years and got to know staff very well. Staff are extremely friendly and even dropping off my child, we get all the information on what they have been involved in, that day. Staff update the daily online diary every day, so I can see what has been eaten or snacked on. Great variety of meals on a daily basis. Different activities each day and halloween season seems a lot of fun. The simple things like getting your child to pick their name out the bowl each morning get's my son ready for the start of another fun day, full of activities and learning.
My little girl has thrived at Busy Bees, Quarrywood. She started when she was around 13 months old and is now leaving at 2 years, 3 months old. The only reason she is leaving is because we are relocating. The staff and the manager have been great with her and super accommodating if we ever needed an extra day here or there. It is with a heavy heart that I have to remove her from the nursery. My little one’s development has come on leaps and bounds since joining Busy Bees and she loves being around other people despite being a ‘lockdown pandemic baby’. She cannot wait to get there in a morning and sometimes is reluctant to come home with me since she loves the nursery so much! I would definitely highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for great childcare.
Both his Grandma and myself are regularly involved in the day-to-day care of our two grandsons. The oldest who is five now, attended Busy Bees for several years before starting pre-school and now P1. His level of learning is above average and his social skills are excellent. Yes, this is down to how he has been brought up, but please be assured that Busy Bees had a large impact on his development. Their care, input and support have helped and encouraged our grandson to become the exceptional young boy he is. Our younger grandson who is now two, has been attending Busy Bees for over a year. The first thing I would highlight is that as the oldest moved on, we felt strong enough about the care he received to entrust another grandson to them. The staff are very child-focused and the overall setup of Busy Bees allows the young ones to play, interact and develop in a secure, structured and individual way. Five stars without question.
I am very satisfied with the nursery. My daughter goes twice a week. The staff are friendly and approachable as is the manager. They have kept us well informed throughout the pandemic and all safety procedures followed. I am not able to comment much on the activities and learning as we are not allowed into the nursery during covid. It would be good to have more parents evenings if possible.
My son attended Busy Bees for a year. The staff seem nice and very friendly when collecting, however, there are a number of areas we were pretty unhappy with. Firstly my son suffers from a dairy intolerance and I did not feel this was taken seriously at all. On the subject of food, we were not happy that on a number of occasions our son had been given high sugar foods of no nutritional value (e.g. ice lollies) that did not appear on the menu. We are happy to give our son treats, but in my opinion, this is not a nursery's place to offer these foods. We also found the communication very poor. This may be a result of COVID, however, a year on there is no improvement in communication with parents. The app used updates you on food and nappy changes with the rare observation, however, there is virtually no update on how your child got on that day or about any difficulties. Emails are also not responded to. As a result, I find it very difficult to rate this nursery on the items.
My daughter has been attending Busy Bees for 2 years and I would highly recommend it. The staff are fantastic with the children and I can’t fault the way they have cared for and helped with her development. Forever grateful for that. My daughter has absolutely loved the place and built lovely relationships/friendships with her key workers and the other children which gives us parents the comfort we need! A really lovely and well-managed nursery!
All members of staff are amazing and the Centre Director is great. My daughter loves coming here and I can see how it has helped with her development. Our timetables change constantly in college and they have never had a problem accommodating my daughter's attendance. As a family we are very happy with this nursery and I could not recommend it enough!
My twins have attended Busy Bees since they were 9 months old, from day one it has felt very welcoming and as though my kids were a part of their family. The staff are very approachable, friendly and professional. During COVID the staff kept us up to date with what was going on, they were very supportive during difficult times and it was very clear that the safety of their staff and children was always a top priority. My children enjoy the nursery very much, I can see the positive impact it’s had on their development and learning. They are outgoing, confident and have many friends they love to tell us about. I’d highly recommend Busy Bees to anyone considering private childcare.
My daughter has loved attending Busy Bees, especially the outside play and painting. She has gained some lovely friends here and enjoys all the activities. The staff are fantastic! the centre manager is great.
Busy Bees had played a huge part in our daughter's pre-school years. I am forever thankful for the staff at the nursery and the new management team who I think are thriving! Our daughter loves Busy Bees and has been a great platform for her moving into her school years. The full team is approachable and always caring towards our daughter.
Our little girl has been going to Busy Bees since January 2021 and joined when she was 10-months-old. This was at the height of another COVID-19 lockdown, so the experience of her joining nursery was not what any parent would have expected. The nursery could not have been more understanding of how stressful a situation it was and did all they could to accommodate me and my daughter in welcoming her to nursery life. Since then, she really has come on leaps and bounds, and I know that the nursery has played a big part in her development too. The app is brilliant in letting us know what she has eaten and how she has napped, so we can plan the rest of her day after we pick her up too. The staff are excellent and go above and beyond; you can see how much she enjoys her time with them. Picking the right nursery was a scary process as you want the best for your child, and it is so reassuring to know she is so well looked after whilst I and my husband are working.
My daughter absolutely loves her nursery and all the girls looking after her. I’m totally delighted that I choose Busy Bees for her. She’s been going since she was 1-years-old and she always been so happy and proud of herself; she learns something new. Highly recommended!
My baby started Busy Bees at 7 months old and all the staff and manager have been so welcoming and take such good care of her, they are so approachable and I always get an end of the day update about how the day has gone. I have already recommended the nursery to others and they have since sent their children there. Can not fault them at all, absolutely brilliant service! Thank you to all of the staff.
