Since our son started 8 months ago we have seen great progress in his development and we believe this is down to the team at Teviot. The atmosphere they create and the attention to detail as well as the personalised approach to each child is wonderful. The gardens and rooms are lovely, well-kept and very clean and staff very approachable. Management are visibly present and the children seem to engage with them well which is great. Considering they are a new team in 2024 they are extremely impressive and work well together. We look forward to seeing them continue to develop in 2025.

Thrive has a very good team and clean facilities. The team care about my daughter and are always so complimentary about her development. She has recently move out of the baby room and up to the toddler room and we are happy with the care and her progress.

Our youngest daughter started at Teviot House in May and has genuinely loved it all. The nursery building and grounds are fantastic - lots of space but yet still very much maintains a home-from-home feel. The settles were really thorough and made for an easy transition. There are so many activities throughout the day and we always get a great handover at pick-up. What I love the most is that all of the team, across all the rooms (and management) know my daughter and she knows them. Her key people really seem to know what makes her happy and how to soothe her - they all give really personal and individualised care. It's very professionally run and the management go above and beyond in organising special events for the children and parents so we really feel a part of it all. We've had experience with lots of nurseries over the years and this is by far and away the best. Thanks to all the team.

I highly recommend Thrive Teviot House Nursery. Our experience with them has been positive since the beginning. The staff has been supportive of my son's transition both when starting and when going from toddler's room to preschool in the space of a few months, accommodating my son's needs and working in close collaboration with us - always listening and offering gradual changes in my son's routine that resulted in successful settlement. I would like to thank all the staff for being lovely and well-prepared. In particular my recent conversations with one specific staff member gave me the opportunity to see her astounding level of preparation, competences, skills, and care that are applicable to all the staff and make me happy when my son doesn't want to leave at pick-up time as he's having too much fun. Thank you guys!

Great nursery, the staff are wonderful. They really know your child and provide in-depth feedback at the end of each day. They spend lots of time in the garden and the days include healthy food. They helped us with potty training as well.

My daughter is in the toddler room at Thrive Teviot Nursery on Spylaw Road, and I'm truly impressed with how much she's come to love the nursery and how much she's learned in just three months. The team, especially the two ladies, have been doing an outstanding job. The welcoming atmosphere and the care given to each child are remarkable. I particularly appreciate the thorough feedback we receive daily and how they attentively address any concerns we have. I love that the learning experiences are tailored to my daughter's interests, making it both enjoyable and engaging for her. Nursery drop-offs have become smooth, and she has become more independent since starting there. Additionally, the staff at the management level are fantastic to communicate with and lead the team exceptionally well. Overall, I highly recommend this nursery and am grateful for the exceptional care they provide for our daughter.

My little one settled instantly in Thrive Teviot House Nursery thanks to the wonderful, kind, hands-on staff here who treat him with respect and always have smiles on their faces. The nursery have a wide range of activities available and themes that change and frequently update parents on the wellbeing of their children. They spend a lot of time outdoors and experiencing sensory play, which my child loves, and accommodate nap schedules and dietary requirements with zero issues. The staff and management team are always on hand to answer any questions we have and always seem so thrilled to see my little one, which makes me feel calm. When I pick my son up, he’s always smiling and happy, and there is nothing more I could ask for from this lovely setting.

The new management and staff team have done a fantastic job on the relaunch of the nursery. My son has been in the baby room since it reopened and I couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. He has such a lovely bond with the staff in his room and they are regular staff who know him well. Management can often be found supporting staff in the baby room and are very approachable. The environment is lovely and welcoming and they spend lots of time in the garden too.

I am particularly impressed by the staff at the nursery, they always have a smile on their face, even after a full day with our little ones. My child has gained a lot from the nursery, and they have a serene environment where kids can learn and be creative.

As a proud father to my 1.5-year-old daughter, I have had an exceptional experience at Thrive Teviot House Nursery. The welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff have made it feel like a second home for her. Also, the nursery offers diverse, engaging activities that foster creativity and cognitive development. This nursery provides excellent care for the children. The staff have been fantastic. We’ve been with the nursery for around two years. The 1.5 years were great, then things started to go sideways. The nursery managed to lose a lot of staff and struggled to replace them. They started to rely heavily on agency workers. Because of that, they started to close rooms at very short or sometimes no notice. Then, they sent out an email saying they were to close all under 3 rooms until further notice. They gave us two weeks! to find alternative childcare. There has been little to no support over this period. After all that they still owe me money for room closures dating back to February!. Unequal treatment of parents and the lack of support and communication from the top management left an unpleasant impression. My advice is to stay away to save yourself some nerves, calls, and emails into nowhere. It’s really sad that the excellent staff are being let down by poor decision-making.

My son loves his day at nursery. They clearly value getting to know him and providing him opportunities that expand his understanding and experience. He spends lots of time outdoors which he loves. The staff are fantastic and clearly care about him. I know he is safe, happy and stimulated at Corner House Spylaw.

Corner House Nursery Spylaw is an amazing nursery. The staff are doing a fantastic job. The care level and learning program are really good. All staff members are really kind. Our child is so happy there and progressing every day!

Corner House Nursery Spylaw is a very friendly and helpful nursery. My child loves coming to this nursy, he enjoys the activities, and in particular, his key worker. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Corner House Nursery Spylaw to other parents.

A fabulous team that radiate joy and care for the children, I have been to visit many nurseries and the Corner House Spylaw is everything I could have hoped for and more. My son of only 11 months loves every minute and as a first-time mum, it is such a great feeling to leave him knowing he is in a clean and in a beautiful environment with such an attentive team around him. He has come on leaps and bounds in such a short period of time and has taken to the staff immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Spylaw Corner House.

Both of our children have enjoyed their time at Corner House Spylaw Road. Our eldest started P1 this summer, confident and prepared which I am in no doubt is due to the tremendous support and encouragement of the staff. Our youngest has been slow to talk and staff have taken the care and time to help with his speech. We have always found the staff very approachable for anything we needed to discuss and caring and attentive in their approach to our children - I cannot praise them highly enough. Both children loved their rooms; the garden; the activities and the trips. They frequently don't want to leave at the end of the day!

Corner House at Spylaw Road provides an excellent standard of care. Without exception, the staff are warm, caring and supportive. Our children have been extremely happy at Corner House. I have no doubt that the confidence we see growing in them has been shaped by the positive, secure and loving nursery environment provided by the staff.
