Our son has been going to Bardykes Farm Nursery School since summer last year and it's safe to say it's one of the best decisions we've made. You really don't get many nursery experiences like Bardykes. The children are able to learn skills via looking after animals and being in nature. It's the kind of thing you just don't get from being in a room all day. The staff also put on excellent events throughout the year that make it really special. Our son has made his first best friend here and loves the staff who take such care.

Bardykes Nursery is truly exceptional in every aspect. From the moment my son stepped through the door, he was greeted with warmth and kindness by the dedicated staff. Their approachability and genuine care for each child create a nurturing atmosphere that instantly puts us at ease. One of the standout features of Bardykes Nursery is its commitment to outdoor learning. My son has flourished in this environment, exploring and discovering the world around him while developing essential skills. The emphasis on outdoor activities has added a unique dimension to his learning journey and has undoubtedly contributed to his overall development. Bardykes Nursery has exceeded our expectations in every way.

My son has attended since he was 2 years old and he absolutely loves his time there. He has come on leaps and bounds with his learning and wouldn’t think of a better place to send him. Being able to drop him off and know that he is safe with fantastic staff makes my day much easier!

Our son's development has grown massively since attending this nursery. Management and staff are always friendly and helpful. The 'pets' that they help care for have developed a love of animals within our son, especially tortoises and horses.

Our son has been attending Bardykes Farm Nursery School since July 2023. We have had a very positive experience. The staff are nurturing, child-centred and passionate about what they do. They were responsive to provide extra support following a bereavement. The children have quality learning experiences with a good balance of child and adult-led activities, from attending to the animals on the farm to exploring the secret garden and learning songs for the nativity! The children get a quality nutritious afternoon snack which they help prepare. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

Our wee boy started at Bardykes Farm Nursery School when he was 2 and a 1/2. We were having issues with his speech and concerns he may have autism and a health visitor recommended getting him into nursery as soon as possible. We looked at local nurseries and just seeing all the open space and discussing our concerns, we felt this was the right place for him to attend. Not going to lie, it took him quite some time to adjust to going in but he would settle quickly and always seemed to have so much fun. His confidence and speech have improved so much and now at drop-off, I’m lucky to even get a goodbye. The staff are great and there are always daily updates on the kids learning journal so you always know what they have been up to. They say a messy child is a happy child and our son definitely seems very happy at Bardykes.

My daughter started the nursery a year and a half ago and my little boy has just started last month. The two of them love the nursery and their teachers. The children get to participate in lots of activities that they enjoy and I love that they get to help take care of the animals as well as learn all about nature. The staff at the nursery are all fantastic and I feel like they all really make an effort to get to know the children. My two love all the teachers! I would definitely recommend Bardykes Farm Nursery School to others. I’m glad that my friend recommended it to me!

My little boy started with Bardykes Farm Nursery School in October 2022 - it was his first experience with a childcare setting, I was understandably nervous about how he would adjust. Our nerves were very quickly settled as the staff helped our son settle very quickly into nursery life. He loves attending Bardykes and has made so many great relationships - his confidence and social skills have come on so much since starting. I could not ask for a better nursery and every single member of staff is always so helpful and involved with all children, my son has developed a love for all nursery staff, not just his key workers.

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's nursery the staff are wonderful and the experiences the children get are incredible. Our daughter has developed so much and in so many ways in the 6 months or so that she has been there. The team at Bardykes have played a massive part in that. The best review is that she is excited to go each morning and talks about her friends and the staff each evening.

My little boy has been going to nursery since he was 2 - August 2022 to be exact! He has the most tremendous time there. He’s come on leaps and bounds with his learning and he actually enjoys his time there. The staff are great. They spend a lot of quality time and care with your child and it really shows. I’m glad we have him in there until school - and I’m hoping that they do after-school care by the time he goes to school because it’ll be a really sad day when he leaves! We can’t thank the team enough.

My additional support needs child has been attending since she was 3 years old (now 4.5) and Bardykes Farm Nursery School has only gone from strength to strength! Always a worry choosing a nursery but especially when you know your child needs some extra support. Even without a diagnosis (long waitlist), the nursery has taken all concerns on board, has a great understanding of additional needs and is so hot on their communication I never have any concerns about my child's care! They have been wonderful in supporting my child through their assessment journey and making sure we get all the support available, adapting strategies when necessary and keeping us in the loop. I'm going to be so sad when it's time to move on as I don't believe there's any better learning environment out there. Highly recommended!

My wee boy has not long started at Bardykes Farm Nursery School. I'll admit I was a very anxious mum and thought it was going to be so hard having him go to nursery but the team have been incredible with him which puts me at ease. He gets so excited on nursery days and always comes home exhausted from all the outdoor playing with his friends. The team are great at keeping in touch with you about all the fun he's having. I'm so glad I picked Bardykes for him! He loves it all, especially the animals!

My 2-year-old recently started at Bardykes after her sister spent three fantastic years there also. Both her speech and social skills have improved since starting, and she loves all the staff already. The environment and range of experiences are second to none, and the communication and care shown by the team are amazing.

Bardykes Farm Nursery School is a wonderful nursery with a unique learning experience. My child is in such good hands here, with the staff going above and beyond for the children. We like that the children are empowered to make choices about their play and learning, with staff supporting both us parents and our child. They really approach our child as an individual and support their development with genuine care and professionalism, which is reassuring as a parent.

The staff at Bardykes nursery are second to none - it’s no wonder the parents refer to them as ‘The Dream Team’. The team are passionate and create a fun and nurturing learning environment for the children. My little girl learns valuable skills and knowledge through unique, hands-on learning activities including caring for animals on the farm and growing fruit and vegetables in the garden. I consider us really lucky to have such a fantastic nursery in our area and can’t recommend Bardykes enough.

A very child-led and nurturing environment for children to thrive, Bardykes Farm Nursery School is a nursery like no other in the area. When looking for a place for my child, I wanted a place he could learn in the outdoors and Bardykes provides this. I love that the children have the chance to learn about caring for animals and the environment. My child has attended the nursery since September 2021 and has settled with the help of the experienced team. The nursery are very open to suggestions and listen and respond to comments you make. He will miss it when he leaves for school!

We absolutely love Bardykes Farm Nursery School. The nursery has a homely feel about it. 2 of our 3 children have attended and both have enjoyed the amazing learning opportunities that Bardykes offers. Our children really enjoy being outside and getting close to nature in all its forms. The staff are really friendly, approachable and caring. They are all clearly working in the right field! My little two-year-old son has been attending the nursery since last August and for it being his first nursery settlement, he has been able to settle in perfectly. All the staff have been wonderful with him and he has come on leaps and bounds with speech. He attends two days per week and when I drop him off runs in to his teachers, he is also very excited to see the nursery cats. Overall such a lovely nursery I wish I had found it sooner for my older son, great location and wonderful staff.
