I could not recommend Scallywags enough; it is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been at Scallywags for two years now. I was very anxious at the beginning as we had a very negative experience elsewhere, however, after my daughters first visit at Scallywags, I felt reassured -the staff were all amazing, so friendly and caring. My daughter loves going to the nursery to see her friends and explore new experiences - she loves spending time with her key worker too. All staff make an effort to build relationships with your child and your family. Management is very involved too, they make time to spend with the children. Staff and management know my daughter as well as I do! The Scallywag girls are amazing!

I can’t speak highly enough of Scallywags! The staff are everything you would want at a nursery, supportive and caring. The environment is enriching and positive. I would definitely recommend Scallywags!

Both of my children have been fortunate to attend Scallywags in Carnoustie. My daughter still talks about memories from Scallywags and the staff; she’s now in P4! Always been fab home-cooked meals and snacks for the children. Lots of activities available and learning opportunities. Staff are so attentive and really get to know each child on an individual basis. My little boy attends 3 days a week and has come on leaps and bounds with his speech and socialisation skills. A beautiful, warm nursery with knowledgeable caring staff.

Scallywags Children's Nursery is a fabulous nursery. I have 2 children who attend (from the age of 18 months and 3 years) and can’t speak highly enough of everything the nursery has to offer. The staff are hugely welcoming to families and go above and beyond to create a positive, supportive environment where our children grow and flourish. They treat the children like extended family and my two are always excited to go. Every day I am amazed at the activities my children have been involved in. Prior to Covid restrictions, there were outings and this is gradually returning as restrictions ease. The nursery nurtures the children’s interests and developments their learning and emotions in a very individual way. Staff are always available to speak to at pick up/drop off and are supportive and reassuring at every point. The home-cooked food is much appreciated not just by myself as a parent, but by my children! I can’t thank the Scallywags team enough for the positive experience my children have on a daily basis. I cannot recommend the nursery enough - I knew from the first visit we had found something special!

Both my sons attended the nursery since they were nearly 10-months-old. Extremely happy with the care, learning, nutrition and love they received. They simply loved being there, and it made it so much easier for me as a working mum.

Can't recommend it highly enough! The past year has been incredibly challenging, and the way they have adapted to the new rules (ie with Covid) has been amazing. My little one loves it there. The staff are all lovely, and it has such a happy atmosphere.

My little boy loves attending Scallywags, he has made such amazing progress in his time there so far, his speech and social skills are developing so well. I love the variety of foods he is offered and snack and lunchtimes, and also, the fact the children are taken into our local community so regularly to explore and learn in different environments. He is also given plenty of time in their outside space, which he loves. Dropping him off there is like dropping off to extended family, an amazing nursery!

Both our boys have attended this nursery and over the past eight years and they have been a huge positive part of our lives. Two members of staff were nursery teachers for my older two who are now seventeen and twenty years old. I could not recommend them highly enough. Even through the pandemic they engaged with the children and gave us ideas and adventures. I will be sad to say goodbye this summer when my youngest goes to school, as they are all amazing and feel part of the family.

Our three children attend Scallywags Children's Nursery and from day one the staff have been very caring and supportive. They love their outdoor play time, playing in the garden, walks to parks, woods and being in the community garden. The staff have made great changes to the outdoor space following the pandemic. Management and staff are very approachable and are happy to discuss any changes with parents.

A very friendly and professional nursery, the staff seem to know the children incredibly well and are very approachable to talk to. I have found them to be very flexible and accommodating when it comes to the hours and days that my daughter attends. She appears to really enjoy her time there and there is always different activities on offer.

My daughter has been going to Scallywags Children's Nursery since she was eleven months old, she is now three and she loves going to nursery. The staff are so professional and amazing with the children, my daughter always comes home happy and looking forward to her next session. The communication between the staff to parents is excellent. I would highly recommend Scallywags Children's Nursery to any parents who are requiring childcare for their little ones.

Scallywags Children's Nursery is an amazing nursery. I have used Scallywags Children's Nursery over the last nine years for both my daughters and have never had an issue. The staff and management are fantastic. Always pick up a happy child with lots of stories about how great her day was. Home cooked meals from their amazing cook. Great outdoor space for the kids to play and I wouldn't have my children go anywhere else. Best nursery in Carnoustie (Angus) by a mile.

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing my daughter get excited about going to Scallywags Children's Nursery. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management are really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment for both the children and staff. Scallywags Children's Nursery is also very clean. My child who has disabilities has been going here for many months and I couldn’t ask for a better place to send her. They have kept me up to date with pictures and communication when I have gone to collect or drop off my child so I've felt totally informed.

Brilliant nursery with wonderful staff who treat the children like their own family. My daughter has been with Scallywags Children's Nursery full time since she was nine months old and is just about to leave for primary school. The nursery have been so accommodating to our families needs and we feel a genuine connection with them. Our daughter is a confident, happy little girl and Scallywags Children's Nursery has played a major part in that. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

All three of our children have attended Scallywags Children's Nursery and I honestly wouldn't consider them going anywhere else. I can't thank the staff enough for all their input, care and support of our children. Our first child went there ten years ago and our youngest, aged two are there now, it has been an incredible nursery from the first day ten years ago still to this day.

My grandson has attended Scallywags Children's Nursery for the last two years. The staff are just amazing and are always there with a smile to greet him every morning. They keep a very active little boy busy and safe with lots of fun activities and encouragement. He has made lots of friends and really enjoys his time at nursery. His development has come on leaps and bounds and he is now ready to move onto school in the summer. Thank you Scallywags Children's Nursery.

Scallywags Children's Nursery has been such an important part of our family for the last six plus years. The team fill us as parents, with confidence that our children are seen as important to them as they are to us. Our eight year old came through the Scallywags Children's Nursery 'system' from the baby room onwards and the care, nurturing and learning she received was incredible. Now our toddler is attending, we are already seeing improvements in speech and turn-taking, thanks to the work of her key worker and wider team. We can't imagine a better place than Scallywags Children's Nursery.

Scallywags is a wonderful nursery. The staff treat the children like family. They have regular outings in the local area and spend lots of time out doors and doing messy play. Which my son loves. I would recommend Scallywags to everyone!

My son has been attending Scallywags from 10 months old. I was extremely nervous about putting him in but we have had a positive experience and Scallywags is part of our daily routine now. It feels as if we have been there forever. I will keep him here until he is 5 as the flexibility of the setting is just a lifesaver for busy working parents with them being open all year round. They can also offer emergency sessions and half sessions which is just brilliant. The food choice is excellent, the activities are varied and there's lots of stimulation. My son is happy here and I would recommend it to other parents. I can see the nursery constantly trying to increase the quality of their service by making improvements regularly in lots of aspects and I really applaud them for this and it has been recognized in their independent assessments. I think the nursery will keep going from strength to strength as it's easy to see the staff are engaged and motivated.

An excellent nursery who provide high-quality childcare and experiences for my child. She has developed so much through the stimulating play contexts both indoor and outdoor. Staff are all highly effective practitioners who put children’s interests at the heart of their practice. Would highly recommend.
