I am so happy with Ninewells Nursery. My little boy started when he was 8 months old in the baby room and has come on leaps and bounds. The staff at Ninewells Nursery are absolutely amazing so reassuring and nurturing and meet my child’s needs amazingly totally putting me at ease when leaving him to go to work. Keep up the great work girls couldn’t recommend it enough.

Our daughter has been attending Ninewells Nursery since 2021. We have always been very happy with all aspects of the nursery as she has grown and entered different age/stage-appropriate rooms within the setting. The rooms feel homely and clean and the play set-up has always felt purposeful but allowed for open-ended opportunities as well. The staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming. We feel they always made a huge effort to get to know the children and build lovely relationships with them. This extends to parent relationships as well and the nursery has offered lots of opportunities for us to come in and see the children play in the setting. The nursery has also put on seasonal fayres and organised nativities etc. The staff should be commended for all their efforts! The setting offers a great selection of snacks and lunches for the children, our child has really benefitted from being offered a range of tasty food with different flavours. We rate the nursery highly!

My child loves Ninewells Nursery. She started in the baby room when she was around 11 months, and she is currently in the tweenies room. She has always been happy, from the first week. I’ve always felt the staff really appreciated my daughter and really cared about her. Staff are always happy to help and always take my suggestions or concerns seriously. My daughter also had multiple allergies, and they never had any problem offering her good and safe alternatives.

My daughter is one year old and has been going for four months twice a week, there is not a single time she cried when I dropped her off. She likes all the ladies, her friends and the food. Always smiling and happy in the photos. I highly recommend!

My child has been going to Ninewells Nursery since he was 12/13 months old. Almost a year later, he's still there 5 days a week and about to move up from the baby room to the tweenie room. The staff are very friendly and attentive. As a parent, I appreciate that they talk fondly of my child and tell me about his day when I come to pick him up, and he's always greeted by a smile when he's going in. The range of activities on offer is great for keeping him busy throughout the day. The staff have been really responsive to requests made by me, e.g., working with me when his sleep needs have changed as he ages and I'm forever thankful for that because we both get a good night's sleep because they have varied his nap as needed. I also appreciate that they called me on a couple of occasions when he became poorly while he was there so I could get him appropriate medical attention in hours. We'd be lost without Ninewells Nursery and have recommended it several times to friends.

Our wee one absolutely loves Ninewells Nursery and the staff. She is full time and we never have any issues getting her in in the morning. They have been very flexible with us and even though we have recently moved further away, we are not going to change nursery. The workers really know our child well and are always super helpful. The food is really good and I have been told countless times that their chef is the best cook!

I thoroughly recommend this nursery. The care they take of my son is just great - the staff know him so well, and clearly like and genuinely care for all the children attending. My son settled in quickly, and runs in with a smile every morning. He loves playing outside, and this is a large part of the daily routine. He is also learning to be more independent - the kids are encouraged to serve their own food and help tidy up, which is lovely to see. The nursery team are excellent at accommodating dietary requirements, and flexible about days attending, which has been so useful as they can fit childcare around my shifts. I can go to work feeling absolutely certain that my son is in safe hands. Thank you!

When Covid-19 started getting worse, and the lockdown was about to happen our normal nursery had to close causing me to panic about what to do with my little girl as both I and my partner are key workers. I was recommended Ninewells nursery by my little girl's old key worker so set up a meeting with the manager of the nursery. From the first time speaking to her, I could see my little girl was going to be in good hands. From her first day about 2-months ago roughly, every report I get when I pick her up is she’s been brilliant, she has settled in amazingly well, and that’s all down to the staff. I can’t thank them enough for helping us in such a difficult situation!

My little boy has attended Ninewells Nursery since he was 11 months old and still attends. I cannot praise this nursery highly enough, he took some settling time and they supported us both through a tough time. Now he loves it so much he goes in with a huge smile on his face. The staff provide exceptional care and during the current pandemic they have gone beyond any expectations for the safety of my child. The children receive healthy hot food plus snacks and are always busy with indoor and outdoor projects. They get lots of time in the garden also. The staff are friendly and always welcoming. They have made our nursery experience a very positive one.

I am absolutely thrilled with the standard of nursery care provided by Ninewells Nursery. My little boy has settled in really well and is very happy trotting into the nursery in the morning. This comes as such a relief to me as I was a little bit anxious in the beginning. The staff have been wonderful, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the nursery has a lovely homely feel. I’m always provided with great feedback on my son’s day and whenever I’ve asked for aspects of his care to be changed (such as nap times), it has been done without hesitation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone - it’s great.

Ninewells nursery is just fantastic. My son is very shy and since starting last February he's totally come out his shell thanks to all the staff. Can't recommend this nursery enough. The manager is so friendly down to earth and very easy to talk.

Ninewells Nursery has been a pivotal part in my son's development. From the integration in his first days in the baby room to the progression into the toddler room, he has been very well cared for and aided in all areas of his development. The nursery itself is very clean and tidy and has a homely feel from the minute you walk in the door. From the management down to the care staff, there is a real sense of genuine care and nothing is too much hassle. The staff are always friendly and smiling and this clearly comes across in their day to day work as my son's time at the nursery is the highlight of his week and even at home he continues to talk about the staff. The content of their days are always full of fun activities and there’s always a story for my son to tell me at each pick up. I couldn’t praise everyone involved at Ninewells enough and will be sad when my son moves on. However, my newborn will most definitely be attending Ninewells once the time comes for her to make that step.

My son started attending Ninewells nursery full time when he was just 8 months until he was 24 months. He has had a great time there and enjoyed it very much. The staff have all been amazing. My son really struggled to settle in initially and the staff were so patient and understanding with him and us. My son also had a few food allergies and happy to say that they followed the dietary restrictions strictly. They have been amazing throughout and I am ever grateful.

My daughter has attended Ninewells Nursery from age 14 months and she is now 4 years old. I have happily recommended Ninewells to other parents and would echo other reviews in that the standard of care and facilities at the nursery are outstanding. The staff are always helpful and accommodating and always willing to "go that extra mile" so to speak. The Ninewells Nursery manager, in particular, has organised birthday parties for my daughter at the nursery, which clearly demonstrates how the staff go "over and above" their roles.

We cannot praise Ninewells Nursery highly enough and feel so lucky that we have such a friendly, adaptive and considerate nursery right on site of our work. Our eldest was here from 7 months old and is now entering the pre-school room. We were thrilled to be offered a place for our youngest to start in January. For us, we very much like the relaxed, child-orientated atmosphere. There is a joyful spontaneity as well here where sporadic walks, leaf collecting, outdoor painting or sparklers and hot chocolate on Bonfire Night etc are fully embraced whatever the weather. For that peace of mind, to know your children are in such a wonderful and supportive environment to allow your focus at your own workplace is priceless. I think the staff and key workers are very quick to see the individual child and adapt to that child's needs. Whereas the management, very astutely recognises that parents need looking after too.

This nursery is excellent. My daughter is very happy here and thriving nicely. They are always doing fun activities while promoting education. The staff are always very friendly, willing to help and provide an excellent service. I do not have a single fault.

My daughter started going to Ninewells Nursery when she was 12-weeks-old, and they have been great with her. All staff are lovely and I feel so at ease leaving her in their care for the day!

I would highly recommend Ninewells Nursery. Our son has been attending since he was 14-months-old. He is very happy here and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Staff are attentive, always have time to chat and clearly know him well. Thank you to all of the staff for their great care.
