View Full Details of Tigers Day NurseryGreat environment for our twins. They love Tigers and are thriving. We moved after a bad experience at another nursery and have been so happy with the decision. The staff go above and beyond to support the children and us as parents.
Tigers Day Nursery and the team are simply amazing. Our son is so happy going there every day and he loves the teachers so much; he often calls me the name of his room leader by mistake! (don't know whether to laugh or cry about that...!). The nursery he went to previously was good, but the level of 'extra curricular' stuff Tigers do is next level - he goes on walks to the Garden Centre or fish shop (live fish not fish and chips!), they walk down to the Nature Discovery Centre to feed the ducks, and they visit elderly people in the nearby nursing home. They also do yoga, French lessons and Forest School and our son simply loves being out in the wild garden. They also have a formal library book exchange within his room, and an informal book swap in Reception, and they get to take in toys and do show and tell. Parents are also invited in monthly to spend time with the children, and even grandparents get an invite too every now and again. There's a sensory room the children can explore too.
I can’t speak highly enough of Tigers. It is an exceptional nursery that allows my son to spend the majority of his time outdoors! To be honest, the highest praise I can give is the excitement that my son has when we arrive!
The staff are all so amazing and kind. I was always told about my daughter's day when picking up. The app works really well too. My little girl left nursery to start big school with so much confidence and I can’t thank the staff at Tigers enough.
All the staff are so professional. They all have really good knowledge of child development. I trust that they are keeping an eye on my child’s development and whenever I’ve had a concern it’s clear they are keeping a close eye on him, know him well and have always reassured me. Whenever I can sneak a peak in the room without my son noticing he is always so happy and confident. He is always really happy to go to nursery every morning as well. My son has moved up 3 rooms now and all have been amazing. I can not fault anyone there. Thank you so much.
Lovely setting with great staff who keep you well informed and listen to any concerns. Always found them fair and accommodating. Good variety of food for all to try.
Couldn't fault Tigers at all. My son has been at the nursery for a year and a half, and the care has been incredible. He is happy, well cared for and thriving. I have never had any issues. I feel like the staff care and are happy to chat about his development.
Both my children attend Tigers Day Nursery, having done so since they were just over 1 year old (now 4 and 2). They both love it there and the staff are great. We get regular updates via the app and a handover at the end of the day. The children both love the staff in each room and I have every confidence when leaving my children in their hands for the day. They have a variety of meals with a balanced and nutritious menu, all cooked on site. They also partake in different activities every day, (including French and dance) and are always excited to tell me what they got up to at the end of each day. I 100% recommend Tigers.
Tigers Day Nursery are the most incredible, supportive and professional nursery. Every member of staff is a credit to them. Our son is autistic and even mentioning any Sen needs when trying to find a new nursery I have immediately felt reluctance which in turn is an immediate no from us. I was repeatedly recommended Tigers due to their care and expertise and was delighted that they could offer us a space. Any correspondence from the moment of my original phone call to the day our son started was fabulous (and continues to be). All of the staff made sure he felt safe and happy and that he enjoyed every transition session. He used to have severe meltdowns going into nursery and now the only upset I have is that he doesn’t want to go home. Every member of staff supports him and celebrates all of his successes. There is always genuine care and excitement in sharing his achievements, we couldn’t ask for more. I travel 3 hours a day to get him to this nursery, I would only do this for the very best and that they are!
We love Tigers Day Nursery Thatcham. Our daughter started at Tigers in September 2022, changed room in January as she turned 3. I was nervous because it had just been her and me during the day since birth and every single staff member has been supportive for our daughter and her parents. Same when she changed class. Things went so smoothly. It is so reassuring and wonderful to see their commitment to having thriving kids and help the parents too. We can not recommend them enough! Everything I have come across, they have helped me with in the best way. All the requests I have made have been taken care of in a good time frame. Our daughter has so much fun and loves it there so much and so do we! Our son will be going there too, he is registered already.
My son has been going to Tigers day nursery since he was 9 months old. I was a little worried at first to leave him on his own but he settled in so well and loves it there. My son really warmed to his first key person and she was amazing with him. I would get regular updates on the parents' app, that would put my mind at ease! I was a little upset when she had to move rooms and not be his key person anymore because he got on so well with her but all the staff are amazing and great with him.
Our son absolutely loves Tigers. He has settled in so well after having to change nursery during lockdown. He talks to us about all the fun he gets up to with his friends, and he really loves all of the staff too. Now that restrictions are easing up, it has been really nice to be invited to parent's activities, so I can see for myself the lovely facilities on site (especially all of the outdoor space). Overall, very happy and would absolutely recommend Tigers.
Both my daughters attend Tigers and they love it there. It is a beautiful setting with great outdoor spaces set back safely from the road. The staff are so friendly and approachable and I have no worries about leaving the girls there. The admin team are also incredibly helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this nursery.
I cannot rate Tigers (Henwick site) enough. Both our children have attended there from around 18 months (they are now 4 and just over 2) and they are so happy there. We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful nursery just up the road which provides the best care for our children. Tigers is in a beautiful setting and offers lots of outside play and all the staff are absolutely fantastic at their job and really care about the children. If ever one of our children goes in upset for any reason, staff will always prioritise their happiness and provide them with what they need to feel better, always with warmth and a smile. I genuinely feel it’s the best nursery we could have ever hoped to send our children to.
We had to change nurseries at the start of lockdown as our nursery closed and left us struggling with child care. We found Tigers, phoned them up and they were more than welcoming. Our daughter strolled in and hasn't looked back since. Tigers is a home away from home, the staff who care for my daughter possess so many skills, they are caring, friendly, and just so knowledgeable about her age range. She goes into nursery happy and comes out not wanting to go home. Their facilities are fantastic and we are so impressed with what they have to offer. Each day, they do brand new activities and she is so excited to see what she will be doing that day. If she gets upset at all, they are on hand with the compassion and apparently the best cuddles, which is so reassuring for parents. We could not fault the care from the staff at Tigers.
Excellent staff who put us at ease straight away. Our boy has busy fun filled days, in a lovely setting, and is always very well cared for. We really appreciate the time staff take to send photos and observations about his day. Absolutely recommend!
As a first time mum, I was anxious about sending my daughter to nursery, I hadn't let her out of my sight for the first year of her life! Also due to lockdown, my daughter had had limited time around other children, therefore I knew going to nursery would be hugely beneficial for her (and to me.) I feel so comfortable leaving her at Tigers, she can't wait to go and loves two carers, in particular. The settling in sessions were a fantastic way of getting us both used to nursery and she adapted very quickly. Since being in nursery, she quickly learnt to feed herself with a spoon and is now walking confidently. Her speech is coming on too. I love receiving updates throughout the day and it helps keep me involved in her day. I wish I could send her for more days than her current two but the nursery is very popular.
Tigers Nursery look after my daughter. They go beyond to make sure she has the best time and follow her care plan for her extra needs. The team in the little cubs are super and very attentive with the babies.
Our son has been attending Tigers for the last 3 years and I can honestly say it has been a fantastic experience for all of us, from start to finish. From the setting, to the standard of care and learning, the meals, to the parent interaction - everything is so well thought out and planned, with as much interaction with parents and families to make sure you have full confidence in your child’s care. We’re going to be so sad when the time comes for our son to start primary school!
What an absolutely fantastic nursery. My son has been full time since 9 months old. He is such a sociable and confident boy now and I truly feel this is in part, due to the care he receives at Tigers - every day is different. He especially loves getting out in the garden, where they are most days (weather dependent) and is a firm favourite of the cooks, eating everything on offer! The staff are lovely and super knowledgeable, helping him learn and grow!
