View Full Details of Footsteps Day Nursery & Pre School Chalfont St PeterMy son attended nursery until he went to school and now attends after school club. He loves the outdoor space and forest school in the holidays. He likes walking to the village and visiting the church, seeing all the things for remembrance day. I am really happy with the low staff turnover and how friendly everyone is. They prepared my son for school so he was confident enough to go on his first day.
My son loves this nursery. He has been going there since was 8/9-month-old. Staff are absolutely amazing and really take into consideration the time and patience with the children who attend. Fantastic outcome overall, and always have a happy boy when coming home from nursery. Thank you to all the staff that have helped me with him.
Both my grandchildren have been through Footsteps Day Nursery in Chalfont St Peter and the care they've both received has been excellent. The staff are caring and thoughtful, they knew both my grandchildren and were supported & loved by the team in Pre School.
My daughter thoroughly loves her time at this nursery. Staff turnover is low and the carers are brilliant with all the children. We go to work knowing she is safe and secure and having the best time! Her key worker always contacts me if any issues even the smallest of things so I'm reassured all the time that she is well looked after! We have had all 3 children at Footsteps and would never go anywhere else! The older 2 look back with fond memories.
Don't be fooled! Many friends recommended this nursery while others say it’s gone downhill since the manager arrived. Some lovely staff, however, there are some very incompetent staff who don’t seem to have a clue or be honest when my child gets hurt and when I approached the manager with my concerns she shrugged it off or provides me with an inconsistent story. I know from others that she has worked with some members of staff for some years but surely my concerns about children’s welfare and safety should take priority? If the manager is flippant then she shouldn’t be in charge. It’s a shame as the facilities are good, great location with lots of outdoor space, not far from home but just can’t trust her to take my concerns seriously and would rather favour her “friends” over safety.
