Our little one has attended Kids 1st Low Fell for about a year and a half now, and we've found this nursery to be absolutely brilliant. The staff are all second to none. It's reassuring, as a parent, that so many of the staff have been with the nursery for years, as there's a deep level of continuity and understanding the Kids 1st way. We have always been well-informed and supported, particularly during tricky times when our little boy has struggled with moving into a new room. There is a lovely atmosphere in the nursery and the children have lots of activities and fun to keep their minds and bodies busy, as well as lots of cuddles from the amazing key workers in each room. All in all, a brilliant setting and one we trust to enrich our little boy's early years before he moves to school.

We have had nothing but a brilliant experience with the nursery on all levels. The staff are highly professional but also very caring and genuinely care about our little boy and his play and development each day. We feel completely confident that our son gets a good balance of messy play, reading, singing, and other activities each day. I'm glad to see that he's getting outside a bit more now the cold snap has passed we would generally get him out every day even In the rain as we feel natural light and fresh air is vital for him, especially given the busy environment in the classroom. The communication from the team has been excellent especially if he's had a day where he's been under the weather. I feel the level of attention to detail on his behaviour and mood has been great. Our sons development and speech has come along in leaps and bounds and we really appreciate the benefits that nursery offer him.

Really lovely staff - welcoming and caring. Take an interest in our son’s development. He seems really happy and well cared for. Feel confident that he is being well looked after. The food they eat seems pretty nutritious. Good range of activities that they do too.

Since my daughter started, I have been massively impressed. She had only spent time in the care of her grandparents, and she quickly became excited about her days at nursery. The staff are all professional and friendly. Her imagination and thirst to learn have been nurtured, and the staff bring this out in various activities. The parent portal gives you online observations so you can see how well they are developing, and her end of preschool 1 review had me in tears of pride. The menu is incredibly varied and healthy; no quick fix deep fried stuff! They were ahead of the curve with Covid and have continued to be. I have had absolutely no concerns about taking her to the nursery or that she will not enjoy her time with the measures they have in place. There is absolutely no other nursery I would send my children to. Thank you to Kids 1st Low Fell.

My son has been going to Kids 1st Low Fell for 2 1/2 years and he loves it. The nursery is incredibly well led with a very proactive management team. The staff in the room are exceptional. My son is safe and learning, development and happiness are at the forefront of every decision which is made. Parents are included in every step and as a parent I have made a lot of friends through nursery. The menu is varied, healthy and fun. The chef is incredible - I only wish I could stay for lunch!

Fantastic nursery. I've seen my child develop week after week. Excellent facilities and caring, well-managed staff who've been instrumental in my child's care and development.

The staff do an excellent job in looking after my children. They engage in fun activities and the variety of food offered at mealtimes is good. My only negatives are the high nursery fees and the entrance to the nursery is very narrow which makes drop-offs difficult during busy periods when there are oncoming vehicles.

Kids 1st Low Fell have fully supported us working parents and the fab staff put your mind at ease leaving your little one. I can’t recommend the excellent care enough. I was very anxious leaving my little boy and within 2 weeks he loved nursery. Truly grateful and made returning to work much easier.

Kids 1st Low Fell have been amazing with my son since the day he started. He settled in really quickly due to the care and reassurance from the staff. He has continued to develop and is now a confident little boy due to start school. If I ever had any issues or worries, I have always felt comfortable to discuss them and confident they would be rectified.

My daughter has had a fantastic experience at Kid's 1st Low Fell. She has attended since she was nine months old. She has loved her time at nursery and has made some special friendship groups, many of whom she will be going to school with. The staff and care at the nursery have been outstanding.

We've had 2 children cared for through Kids 1st Low Fell between 2013 to date. Throughout the time each of our children has spent within their care, we simply cannot fault them. Care and attention and a genuine interest in their development and education both whilst in their care and beyond. The food is fabulous and helps develop a wide variety of likes and dislikes with our children, but equally, it's all 'honest home cooked' style and ALWAYS with healthy, good nutrition at the forefront. We've never had a day where we have had any concerns over the wellbeing of our children, and equally, neither of our boys has ever said they don't want to go. They look forward to it. Our 4 yr old continues to exceed his peers and amaze us with his continued growth and development. A testament to the excellent care and attention by the staff at Kids 1st Low Fell. A very big THANK YOU. Great staff Great food Great atmosphere Great facilities Great pre-school development.

The nursery is very welcoming and well presented. All of the staff are lovely and always go the extra mile for me and my child. There is a lot of effective communication and I always get a handover at the end of the day to have a chance to speak to my child's keyworker. There is a lot of toys that the children can interact with and a fab range of resources.

The staff are excellent and are great at making me feel at ease with my child's undiagnosed illness/allergy. My daughter loves her days at nursery.

Very nice and pleasant nursery. Good use of resources, friendly and caring staff with good communication skills. Age appropriate toys and resources used throughout the day.

Kids 1st Low Fell was so welcoming during my little boy's visit and very reassuring. My little boy was a little unsettled for a few weeks, however, I knew he was in very good hands, as the girls were so good with him. He now comes to nursery with the biggest smile on his face.

Superb nursery. Had our girl there since age 1 and have been thoroughly impressed with the standards through her transition through rooms. Recently extremely impressed with their ability to adjust and adapt to the needs of our child, as their additional needs have become more apparent the older she has gotten. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is fortunate enough to get a place, only due to the high level of demand!

I absolutely love Kids 1st and so does my little girl. My daughter has been at Low Fell since she was 9 months old. She is now almost 2 and has gone through 3 of the 7 rooms, each one as fabulous as the one before. All the staff are amazing and clearly know the children they look after inside out. The nursery works on a key person system and each one of my daughter's key people have been amazing! They give brilliant handovers at the end of the day and always keep us parents up to date with progress and things which are going on in nursery, nothing is too much trouble! The meals are great and menus are available to take away so that you can plan family meals around what your little one has eaten that day. If you are looking for a nursery for your little one try kids 1st low fell, you won’t be disappointed.

Our daughter has been attending Kids 1st for 18 months and we have been extremely happy with the care she has received. The staff are all lovely and I know my daughter is in the safest possible hands. The facilities are excellent and the activities fun and varied with lots of outdoor play. Would highly recommend.
