Our two daughters, aged 3 and 1, currently attend Caversham Nursery and we couldn't be happier with their care. The manager and the team provide a warm, nurturing environment where our daughters feel safe and excited to learn. We really appreciate how the nursery fosters creativity and exploration, with daily outdoor activities that allow our girls to experience nature and try new things. The entire team's dedication to child development and their passion for encouraging independence and curiosity is ever-present. We're kept informed about our girls' weekly activities and progress, which gives us peace of mind knowing they are happy and well cared for. We are so grateful to have found Caversham Nursery!

2 of my children have now attended Caversham and from day one, the staff has shown an exceptional level of care, professionalism, and dedication. Every morning, my son is so excited to go to nursery, and it's clear he feels safe, loved, and engaged in his environment. The facilities are great with bright, clean, and well-organised spaces that promote learning and play. The outdoor play area is a particular favourite of his offering a safe and fun space for him to explore and be active. They do lots of educational activities with creative play. Which he loves and I have seen significant improvements in his social skills, language, and overall confidence. The communication from the nursery is excellent. I receive regular updates and photos on tapestry which is always lovely to see and helps me feel connected to his day. It has truly been a wonderful experience for our family, and we will be sad to not be here next year as he is moving on to Reception. Thank you to all the staff!

We couldn't be happier with the Caversham Nursery. The team is truly exceptional and well-versed in childcare. Our son is in excellent hands. The nursery has a warm, homely atmosphere and a beautiful garden that our son adores. Each staff member genuinely cares about the children and is dedicated to providing the best care possible.

My experience at Caversham Nursery has been nothing less than Amazing. My daughter went to the nursery and from day one of Entry she loved every moment and was so excited to go again every day. My son joined a year later, at first found it a little hard to settle but the Class team found what his interests were, and every start of the day they had his favourite activities ready for him to come in and join. Both my children now love gardening, and doing various activities and have made so many friends (Their teachers and TA's being their first friends when asked). What I love about Caversham is that they all meet the children's needs at a personal level, understanding the child and helping them be more confident, more social, and character-building. I myself have been a TA in a nursery however I've never seen so much love and care at such a professional and personal level. Caversham has such a lovely environment. We loved the Nursery so much we wanted more days during the summer holidays.

I cannot praise Caversham Nursery enough - I honestly feel that my son had the best start in life, thanks to the dedicated team and nurturing environment they create for all children. The nursery is always exceptionally clean, very orderly, and well maintained and has ample outdoor space (a true find for North London), as well as a pet corner. I love the fact that all meals are very well balanced, flavoursome and in addition children are given fresh fruit and vegetables as snacks. There is a kitchen in the facility and we are often presented with homemade low sugar treats that children prepared themselves. The nursery keeps a record of activities on an app and I am very impressed with a variety of different fun and educational activities - from messy play to drawing, to cooking, to reading books. Another very important factor is that most of the staff remained the same for the whole time my son has been there, including the manager and I feel we are a family with a lot of them!

I am impressed with this nursery and its excellent staff. All the staff are lovely and create a wonderful environment for the children. My child is flourishing, coming home with new words every day, and sometimes doesn't even want to leave. It's clear that all the children are enjoying themselves and thriving here.

My child is incredibly happy at Caversham. The staff are warm, nurturing, and sparky. They encourage him to be compassionate explore and take risks. The group sizes are small and children spend time with different age groups. He feels really confident and often doesn't want to come home at the end of the day. Recommend it.

I had a thorough discussion with the new manager of the nursery during which I could explain in detail what I thought the problems were and we managed to come to a mutual agreement. I was in the end pleased with how the manager addressed my complaint, I felt heard and understood, which was not the case before. Thanks to this I am left with a much more positive view of the nursery.

My daughter has been at Caversham Nursery since she turned 1. She couldn't be happier - we've seen her development come on in leaps and bounds and she loves going to nursery, she runs into the room every morning! The staff are caring, great with all of the kids and clearly know what they're doing and, most importantly, love what they do, it's really easy to see that in the way they treat the kids and parents. The outdoor space is really great, rare to get so much outdoor space in this part of London especially and it's lovely that the kids can explore as much as they want and that there's also a variety of activities and trips. The manager also always keeps us updated with what's going on in the nursery and in the local community and is always available to answer any question big or small. We can also easily see what our daughter is up to via the app, which staff update regularly. We're so happy with Caversham and couldn't recommend it enough.

My son struggled to settle into nursery for the first few weeks, but now he loves going and freely walks in/puts his arms out to the staff when we arrive. Their manager is professional and accommodating, always keeps us in the loop with emails about the nursery and how we can get involved. They are very on top of security in the nursery, which is comforting to me when I’m not with my son. Now my niece (and my son's cousin) goes to the nursery and she is loving it too! We love how much outdoor space the children get to play in too, with the free-flow approach, they can explore outside and inside all year round.

This is a great nursery. My son is 2 years old and he loves it. The stuff are really friendly, they are great with kids and they organise lots of activities and get parents involved which is great! The garden is a big plus as well. We love it here!!

We have known Caversham Nursery and the staff for many years. Our youngest daughter (1-year-old) started in early summer. Settling in was very smooth with her lovely key worker. She enjoys going to nursery every morning. All staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The large garden is a big plus which few other settings can offer. We can see daily activities via an online portfolio. Caversham is a really nice place and our older children have fond memories of their time there.

My daughter attends Caversham Nursery and is extremely happy there. The nursery staff are friendly, welcoming and approachable, they always greet my daughter at the beginning of the day and are nothing but polite upon collection, they keep me updated each day with what she’s been doing and how her day has been. They’ve taken the extra time to ensure they know her likes and dislikes, and have always been adaptable to her needs as and when needed. The care, support and time taken by each member of staff to ensure my daughter is happy and settled is truly inspiring. My daughter gets the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, led by adults and is encouraged to be independent, thus ensuring she is given opportunities to progress, learn and reach her full potential. The nursery has an amazing outside space in which the children are encouraged to play and explore. Staff are attentive, flexible and understanding of inclusive practice, they go the extra mile to support my daughter.

This is a great nursery; the staff and teachers are kind and attentive. They are thorough, organised and keep up with the specific learning and development requirements of individual children. It’s a happy and safe place. Can strongly recommend.

The staff are caring and know my child well. They do fun and varied activities like looking after the guinea pig and gardening. The outdoor space is really big with lots to do. We really appreciate the flexibility to fit around our working hours. Thank you Caversham.

Really happy with this nursery. Caring and approachable staff and management. My daughter loves it and she has a great connection with the staff. That's all I have to say but this website has asked me to type more words so that's what I'm doing.

My son has been going to Caversham since he was 11 months old. He very much enjoys his time each week at Caversham and has lots of fun. Staff are incredibly friendly, caring and warm. We are very happy with the nursery and the staff.

My daughter has been going here since she was 9 months, and now that she's 2 and 1/2 year old she is still the happiest person when she arrives there. She's bright and smiley, proud of her nursery and of her loving carers. And I am the happiest mum, since the management is the most helpful, flexible and lovely I have ever met, and I know my daughter couldn't be in better hands.

Excellent nursery. Couldn't get better staff if you tried. My son loves it there; can't wait till get there and doesn't want to leave. Very clean and you can tell the staff absolutely love the children.

My daughter has been going to Caversham Nursery since January 2020 and she absolutely loves it. Staff are welcoming and very professional and know what they are doing. My daughter does not want to leave when it's home time because of her friends and teachers. Thank you Caversham for all your support.
