Westcroft has always shown great care for our two children. I fully trust the staff and my sons have thrived there. The daily range of activities seems great and I can always trust they receive a fully balanced diet when they go there.

My nearly 3 year old has been attending Acorn Day Nursery Westcroft since June 2024. When he first started, it took a while for him to settle but the staff were exceptional throughout this time of change and ensured my son had a home-from-hone experience. Staff are so caring, kind, we are always greeted with a smile when we come through the door. They want the best for each child and since attending my son's interest and love of books has broadened massively as well as his love of singing and dancing! He has also come out of his shell (he is quiet around large groups and tends to be quite independent) but staff have encouraged him to play in larger groups with the other children and role-play. I have seen a big difference in him because of this. He is talking much more than when he initially started. Staff have been amazing supporting our son with potty training. Management are fantastic and ensure the children's safety is priority. My son enjoys going to nursery so I can't thank them enough!

My son has just started the nursery and we are so happy with how well he has settled in. We are given regular updates which puts our mind at ease. The staff are amazing and it's lovely to see how much the children love the staff. We are so glad we chose Acorn Westcroft!

The staff members I have come across have always been friendly and approachable. They care deeply for the children and I feel safe in the knowledge that my children are well looked after. I recently viewed a preschool for my daughter, who is about to turn 3, and actually decided against sending her there because I felt that she had better opportunities for school readiness at Acorn. The children in all rooms have a variety of activities offered to them and my two children absolutely thrive at the nursery. There is always messy play out and they go outdoors in all weather. The communication with parents is fantastic. We get to see numerous photos every day of what the children are up to and have the chance to attend things, such as first-aid courses, which are very relevant and beneficial to parents of young children. All-in-all we are extremely happy with our decision to choose Acorn at Westcroft.

Great nursery! The staff are very professional, friendly, kind and caring! Our daughter really enjoys going to nursery and loves the entire staff. It's clearly noticeable how our daughter is developing and learning new skills every day thanks to their dedicated staff! We also appreciate how great the staff are at communicating with the parents. Big thanks to the entire staff!

Lovely nursery, my little boy always looks forward to going in. He always enjoys all the messy play activities. The outside area is also really good for him to run around and play. The staff are always very friendly.

Great nursery with loving and supportive staff. The environment is very friendly and welcoming for children. I've seen positive development in my daughter in the past few months since she started at Acorn Day Nursery. The staff are very attentive and have built a good relationship with my daughter. Regular updates of the child's day at the nursery keep me informed of her daily activities. Overall it's an excellent nursery.

I couldn't be happier with Acorn Day Nursery in Westcroft! My daughter looks forward to going every single day. The entire staff is exceptional, with a wonderful approach to children and excellent communication with parents. The meals provided are delicious, and my daughter thoroughly enjoys them. The program is diverse, filled with engaging and educational activities that foster both fun and development. I also appreciate the opportunities for parents to visit the nursery, such as open days or festive events like Christmas parties. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a nurturing and inspiring environment for their children. It has truly been a fantastic choice for our family!

Lovely nursery with amazing, caring, friendly staff. Our little one is looked after by all the workers at Acorns, with most if not all knowing her name and able to engage with her to make her feel settled and confident within the nursery. The workers encourage independent play alongside giving support to the children when need it, I can't complain my child's needs are not met. Great range of activities for the children throughout the day and week to keep them entertained, both indoors and outdoors. Meal times are ranged very well, with our little one trying various different foods that we perhaps wouldn't give her. Love Acorn Nursery and know that our little one is well cared for when she is there.

We're so pleased with Acorn Nursery in Westcroft! Our daughter loves it and has developed so much in her time there! Having moved further away, we made the decision to stay with the nursery because of how happy we are! Thank you, Acorn Westcroft!

My daughter has been attending Acorn at Westcroft for 2 and a half years, of which she has developed and grown into a wonderful young person under the guidance of the staff at the nursery. All of the staff are friendly, kind and professional, making the nursery process simple and effortless for children and their parents. The activities are fun and exciting for my daughter and also provide educational benefits through exploring and playing. Acorn at Westcroft is a fantastic nursery and I'm very grateful for the team and what they have done for my family.

We decided to put our second child at Acorns following a decline of service at the nursery our eldest was at. We decided on Acorns following a recommendation from a friend. Acorns have more than lived up to the recommendation. We love the staff - they're lovely, good with our son and always happy to help. It's also refreshing to see male nurses! We love what the nursery do - there's a lot of outdoor play which we didn't get from our previous one. They do forest school too which we're looking forward for our son to attend. The communication is on point - we can message in at any point and get swift responses. We get a daily summary of what our son ate, how much he slept etc, as well as a daily overall summary of what the kids did with pictures. The food is also good and varied. The nursery also regularly organise parent's stay and plays. We love that our son goes here and would definitely recommend the nursery! You get more than what you pay for!

The app is updated frequently with photos and a description of their activities at the end of each day. The staff communicate well with us and let us know if anything has happened or if they need to clarify anything. I'm really glad we decided to have our daughter attend this nursery.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Acorn for our daughter. From day one, the staff has been incredibly welcoming and nurturing, making the transition smooth and comforting for both our daughter and us as parents. Our daughter has flourished, developing new skills and forming friendships, all while enjoying herself immensely. The nursery's facilities are clean, safe, and well-equipped, providing an ideal environment for young children to explore and grow.

Our experience with the nursery has been great. My daughter was made comfortable in Acorns Day Nursery or during the transition to Squirrels. She just loves going there. My requests for speech support are being taken into account and I can see some improvement in her speech. Would love the same support for when she starts potty training as well.

My son has been in the nursery for 3 months. He was going to another sister nursery but it had to close and we were given the option to be relocated. I didn't consider Acorn at Wescroft at first but I am so happy to have found it and chosen it now. I can see that the staff genuinely care about my son and he always responds with a smile when someone opens the nursery door in the morning. It is a relief to know that he is enjoying his time there, playing and learning and that he has all the support he needs. Thank you, team of Acorn at Wescroft.

I have used Acorns for a number of years for both my girls. My youngest daughter has settled extremely well here and loves attending nursery. All the staff are attentive and have been in the setting for a number of years which always fills you with confidence. The app is always updated and photos are taken daily of the children so you can see activities throughout the day. I love how they go around the local shops/libraries for walks. The food is always a hit for my little one too. Thank you again Acorns.

Our son started Acorns at Westcroft in January after moving from another nursery. I was quite anxious about him having to start somewhere new but am delighted with the way he quickly settled in. In just 2.5 months he’s come such a long way in development, speech and independence. I can see the way the effort the staff put in each day has really helped him do things for himself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.
