The nursery has a homely vibe and my son enjoys going to nursery every day. The staff are so engaging and I'm super happy that they will be guiding my child through his early years. The regular app posts really help us as parents see what the children are up to on a day-to-day basis and they also capture memories that we can keep. It's a fantastic nursery and would highly recommend it to any parents.

My daughter has been at Acre Wood for over a year now and she absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic and really go above and beyond to look after the children. All feedback is taken on board brilliantly and they are very swift to make amends as needed. My daughter never wants to come home as she always has such a good time there and actually misses her key workers when she doesn't see them. For us, it really has been like a home away from home for her and has really taken the stress away of going back to work.

Acre Wood is a great nursery. My toddler loves attending each week. The nursery offers a variety of activities for children on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis but there are always extra activities almost monthly to coincide with national events such as Halloween or National Book Day, encouraging parents and children to engage to make it as enjoyable as possible for the children. The staff at the nursery are so helpful and always go the extra mile to help the children and provide the best service to them. Helpful updates are provided during the day and we are always kept up to date. The setting at Acre Wood is extremely pleasant with lots of things for the children to keep them occupied including a lovely outdoor space in the garden. The food served to the children is also fantastic and often leaves me as a parent wanting to be fed there!

Amazing nursery. The fantastic staff have done a brilliant job in helping our daughter settle so quickly and well here. One of the best in the area and always feels very personal and like an excellent local business to support.

Both my children have been part of the Acrewood community and have really enjoyed their time there. The staff are kind, energetic, supportive and really engage with the children. The nursery is flexible and has always supported us when we needed extra hours.

Acre Wood is a wonderful nursery full of the most caring people with whom your children form lovely caring relationships with. I've had 3 daughters in there now and each one absolutely loves their time there. My eldest (who is now at school) often asks to go back! The nursery goes above and beyond to support the families that go there and provides a safe, warm and fun environment for the kids. Once your child goes into the oldest group (Butterflies) they get to do woodwork, which they all adore. My children have also forged really strong friendships within the nursery and genuinely skip in each morning. I would (and often have) recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place in Amersham.

Lovely nursery, my daughter arrives each morning smiling for the staff which makes drop-offs so easy! We love the space, the staff and the updates of what they do each day. Both management and nursery staff are kind, caring and extremely thoughtful.

My son has attended Acre Wood Nursery since March 2023 when he was 9 months old. His every need and more has always been met. He's happy and thriving at the nursery - being cared for by the most amazing ladies, who he adores. I feel at ease going to work knowing that my son will be happy and safe - which isn't easy as a parent! I've always been kept up to date about his progress and everything that he has achieved whilst I've been at work. The best nursery there is!

Great staff, great location. All three of my kids have been here. All loved it. One is still there now and I won't move her. Any issues have been dealt with swiftly. Good communication, lovely photos on the app.

Such a fantastic nursery. I've had two children go here, one has now moved onto school but moved on very well prepared. But it's not just about the preparation, they show love and care for all the children, teach them all sorts from sharing to colouring, painting, woodwork and events like Christmas or the Olympics. You name it. My second child will shortly leave Acre Wood and I'm dreading the day as we will miss so much the lovely, kind and caring members of the team who have helped us so much and given so much to our children. If you're reading this wondering which nursery to send your children to, this is the one. You would not regret it. I never have.

Both our boys have been in Acre Woods care over the past few years and we couldn't have been happier with the care and support they have received from all the staff. Lots of fun and varied activities developing different skills helping to build well-rounded children, equipped for the the transition to school. The staff are professional but with a loving, caring touch, always looking out for the wellbeing and safety of the children. The flexibility from various external events such as COVID has been great and really helpful for two working parents. Couldn't recommend them more highly and will be sad when our youngest leaves for school in a few weeks.

Excellent staff, great nursery. My son has been with this nursery for nearly 3 years, since he was a baby and now he is ready for school! He enjoyed coming to the nursery, the staff looked after him and offered him all the support he needed to transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly! I am very fond of the staff here, I can't say enough thank you for all the amazing work they are doing.

I would highly recommend Acre Wood Nursery. The staff are so nurturing and the care they provide all children is amazing. There are always plenty of activities, including trips out. The children all seem to be happy to be there.

I would highly recommend Acre Wood Nursery. The staff have been fantastic with looking after my daughter. She has been attending the nursery since she was a baby alongside her brother. They are so nurturing and the care they provide is amazing, which is very comforting to know as a parent. There's always plenty of activities to do and both my children have loved it there. They’ve grown and developed so much whilst going there. Acre Wood holds a very special place in our hearts.

The staff are really friendly and offer our child a great opportunity to develop and try new experiences. He has really enjoyed the last 5 months being in their care and loves all the additional activities that the team lay on.

My child has been very happy at Acre Wood. I am impressed with the following of EYFS topics and the commitment to the children shown by staff. They are very good at getting to know each child and handling things like transitions between rooms expertly.

My daughter started at Acre Wood in May 2022 and we have been beyond happy with it ever since. The settling process is good and ensures that your child makes a happy start. We have been in two different rooms now and have found the staff in both to be excellent and most importantly loving towards our daughter. We feel happy dropping her off each day and her joy at arriving at nursery speaks volumes. The communication is good and the uploads on the online learning portal make our day. It is so lovely to see what she is up to during the day. She eats a wide variety of meals and usually has 2nd/3rd helpings so it is clearly very tasty! Thank you, all at Acre Wood.

We love Acre Wood. Our first child went there until he was 4, so we were very keen for our daughter to attend there too. It is such a reassurance to drop your child somewhere where you know they will be cared for so well - the staff are so kind and nurturing, and really look after your child individually. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Out of all the nurseries I've visited, it has the best atmosphere because the children are just having so much fun!

Excellent staff, great nursery. My son has been with this nursery for nearly 3 years, since he was a baby and now he is ready for school!
