Staff at Hathaway nursery have onboarded my daughter in a compassionate and gentle way, addressing our concerns and always offering full and comprehensive details for my daughter's everyday activities. I love the real-time updates in the app and how easy it is to interact with teachers and management. It is also very nice to see that they have a well thought out activity plan per week that focuses on the children's development stages, pushing them to explore new and exciting things.

Hathaway nursery has been excellent since I started my daughter there last summer (2024). She has been so happy there and is always smiling. The staff are very supportive and very communicative. The children get lots of sensory play time to help with their development. The staff always let you know how how your child's day has been and are happy to discuss anything you might need support with. This is my second child with hungry caterpillars and I can't fault them. Hathaway in particular have been fantastic.

Our experience of hungry caterpillar has been fantastic. Our daughter loves the activities they put on and has developed so much since she starts going. The feedback we get from her key worker is very detailed and shows a real understanding and care for her development.

Staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and give support. My son has been attending almost a full year and he seems to enjoy himself. I like that they spend a lot of time having free play outdoors, even during winter and the playground is very good, it's a good size with lots of things to do. The site feels safe and secure. It is kept clean and tidy. The staff try their best to host new activities for the children every day so they always have new sensory and craft projects to participate in. Each week is themed with something relevant going on at the time so that the children learn a bit about the world. They seem to put a lot of effort into the seasonal food menu and he always eats a lot when he's there.

Great nursery and friendly staff with enthusiasm. Garden a bit tired looking. Children seem happy there. Pretty expensive though - but the children enjoy themselves and learn behavioral and social skills.

Amazing help inside and outside of nursery, the follow-up care for my little ones at home is amazing. Helped a lot, very caring staff lovely engagement from the whole Hathaway team. Management has also been very helpful and understanding with personal issues.

One of the best aspects of our experience has been witnessing the genuine care and attention that the educators provide to each child. My son really enjoys the experience of going to Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Hathaway. He has lots of friends and loves interacting with the staff. The nursery keeps him busy throughout the day and they are always putting on new activities each day.

Our son began attending this nursery in 2024, shortly after turning one. The initial week was challenging, particularly due to a cold which caused him to miss the settling period. Despite this, the nursery staff, including the manager, and especially two staff members in particular, have been incredibly patient and nurturing towards him. Fast forward one month, and he now smiles as we drop him off at the nursery, and his joy is evident when we pick him up. Throughout the day, we receive regular updates on his activities and schedule, along with delightful weekly photos capturing his time. It's clear that he's thriving here, benefiting greatly from the focused attention on his mental and physical development. The nursery itself is clean, set in a serene environment with a spacious garden for various activities. The staff are always welcoming with warm smiles, offering a diverse selection of nutritious meals ensuring he's well-fed. Overall, we couldn't be happier with this nursery. Thank you all!

We couldn't be happier with our choice. The dedicated teachers provide engaging activities, fostering both educational and social development. Our child looks forward to going to nursery every day! Communication is outstanding. The teachers keep us informed about our child's day, and the regular updates and photos provide peace of mind. It's a wonderful place for our child to grow and learn.

The nursery staff fully meets all that we expect from them. We feel that our daughter is happy and comfortable and always keen to attend the nursery. The staff members are very helpful, responsive and friendly.

My toddler has done her settling-in period over the course of August. I’m so happy I chose Hathaway for her because they have been nothing short of amazing with my daughter. I was really anxious about how she would be as we don’t really spend much time apart but they have been so good with her, she settled very quickly. Fully recommend.

My daughter has been attending for two and a half years and the nursery was amazing to start with, very good routines and activities for the children. Due to management change the nursery took a very quick decline in everything aspect which was traumatising to witness. Nevertheless, this was picked up on and a new manager within the company has been appointed, needless to say she had turned this nursery around and it’s in the best shape. My daughter has developed so much in the past couple of months and is back to enjoying the nursery setting. I feel more confident as a parent knowing that she’s developing, building relationships with staff and peers and she’s in a happy setting. The staff seem happier the days are more organised and you feel informed and involved in your child’s day. Would definitely recommend!

Our child has been at the nursery for the last few months and while he has enjoyed settling in and getting to know everyone we've also seen changes in the physical setting, with improvements to both indoor and outdoor spaces. The activities and food appear to be really varied, all of which I enjoy being able to read up about with a daily written update and also weekly update including photos. Interactions with staff have always been positive, they're a lovely bunch!

This nursery has had a big overhaul in the past 4 months. Having used this nursery for almost 3 years you can really feel the difference now. The garden had a massive makeover as did inside. The staff are so proud of what they are doing, the communication is brilliant on the app with the weekly update of what the children have been learning alongside photos. There is a great manager and you can see that the staff are all so supportive of her.

Our experience with the Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Hathaway baby room has been great. The staff are kind and caring but also provide structure for the day with lots of planned activities that are strategic for developing fine motor skills, language development, sensory exploration, etc. We love all the opportunities for messy play and outdoor play. We're looking forward to seeing what the kids get up to this summer in the updated garden area. In my experience so far, they have been able to maintain staff-to-child ratios even on snow days, so I've never had to worry about being turned away at the door (which I've heard can happen at other nurseries). This is something I appreciate, and I hope never changes.

Wonderfully caring and attentive staff. Our child loves the time he spends there and his development has flourished in both motor and verbal skills. Lots of fun activities for the children, focusing on. The staff feedback on his progress, and attentive to his well being and the amazing food is homemade by the lovely chef, and eaten in full every day.
