View Full Details of Oakey Dokey Child Care LtdOriginally was told they were an excellent nursery but after a few months, problems started. The staff were inconsistent in views of observation and concerns. Our child had medical equipment and the manager mishandled this in a dangerous way within 24 hours of being signed off on on her training. The deputy was clearly too intimidated to intervene against her boss and let her make a dangerous mistake, risking my child's life. My child was filmed by the manager whilst alone and laying in a bed, against their own safeguarding policy, and they lied about us and falsely distorted information to report us to social services. Thankfully, their allegations were later deemed to be unfounded. The manager was intimidating to speak to and had a caustic attitude. There were times when I was screamed at in front of the children for my child being too difficult for them to cope with due to their medical issues.
My son is leaving this nursery soon and I can honestly say he will miss the staff and all the facilities. Staff extremely helpful should any issues arise and very polite and accommodating. My son's confidence has grown throughout his time here and has made lots of friends. I recommend this nursery to others regularly and my youngest son will attend too when he is 3 years old. Keep up the good work all of you at Oakey Dokey! I know you will be missed until we see you again with my youngest son.
Both of my children have gone to Oakey Dokey Child Care Ltd. My daughter is there currently. Her confidence has grown, she comes home happy and full of energy. She settled in quickly with never any issues about not wanting to go. She's made and kept friendships and her bond with the staff is great. The space they have for the children is fantastic and promotes independence.
Every welcome, really nice teacher, would tell anyone about Oakey Dokey Child Care. I have had 2 of my kids in there and never had any problems with, they are all very lovely to talk to.
