View Full Details of The House that Jack Built - MarlowBoth of my children attended The House that Jack Built - Marlow and thrived from their experiences. My youngest left last August and still talks about nursery fondly on a regular basis. It was always a good nursery but is a friendly welcoming place under a new manager with a lovely nurturing team. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Super impressed with this nursery. My 3rd child attends and was extremely clingy with me before going which made it so difficult to leave her, and a few weeks later she is very confident in herself and happy to stay and always so happy and chatty when she comes home. I have been so impressed with all of the staff and with the manager. Staff are always smiling, attentive and helpful and go out of their way to ensure the well-being and happiness of the children. It is a pleasure to have my daughter go there. Highly recommend.
Great nursery with very friendly and dedicated staff. My kids love it, and enjoy the routine to the day as well as the varied and stimulating activities provided. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
My daughter has been attending The House that Jack Built in Marlow since 2022 and absolutely loves it. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving her as she was still a baby and all the staff and management have been amazing. My daughter settled very quickly and now loves going in and runs to the staff. They have been brilliant if I have any queries and not only have supported my daughter but also myself. The building itself is amazing and has a huge outdoor area and the rooms are large and have so many great toys and equipment for the children. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and I feel at peace leaving my daughter in their care. The food is also great and they a lot of variety that she loves. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone and would suggest having a look around it as it’s such a great place.
My son absolutely loves this nursery. He is only 18 months and is already excited to get through the door in the morning. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and I have noticed his development in speech, manners and general motor skills has come on leaps and bounds. We get monthly emails with what the children will be doing week-week with really interesting themes like people who help us and the world we live in. They also mix the children on occasions so he gets to learn from the older children too. The meals they have are always well balanced and they post what they have eaten each day on the front door, and what activities they have done that day. I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment for their child.
A fantastic setting with an onsite kitchen, my son smiles every day coming here and I am very happy with the service. I would highly recommend the nursery all day long. The manager and her team are fabulous.
We have had two children at the House that Jack built and both have thrived tremendously having been there. The staff are kind and nurturing and the daily activities seem vast and fun for them. Would highly recommend.
Our son has been going to this nursery since before he turned 2 and is now in his last year. He’s made close connections with staff and has lovely little friends. The facilities and food are great and he brings home wonderfully creative crafts. He’s always happy to run in each day and has been singing me the songs he’s learnt and his (increasingly impressive) counting. I highly recommend this nursery.
I strongly recommend The House that Jack Built to all parents who are after a safe, secure, and loving environment for their children, The House that Jack Built are outstanding in every aspect. A nurturing second home that has taught both my daughters key skills and recently prepared my eldest for school. Since management was taken over I cannot fault them in any way, they go above and beyond and have supported me immensely when it has come to helping my girls reach important milestones and life skills. My eldest has now left after attending for over 2 years and is in reception, where she is exceeding the teacher's expectations for her age and excitedly tells the team about school every morning when dropping her sister. My youngest has been attending since 9 months of age and is now 2.5; she has grown to be confident and independent, she is even out of nappies thanks to the team’s support and effective communication. Finding a homely setting like this is rare and I’ll be sad when the time comes for my youngest to leave too! 5*

My son loved coming to the nursery and the caring and empathetic nature of the staff meant that after just two two-hour sessions, he felt comfortable there. He developed well, played a lot and learned from older children. The team provided huge amounts of flexibility for us which I am very grateful for. I would highly recommend it.
My son loved the nursery. All the staff and management team were very welcoming and caring. They posted the menu each day on the nursery door and also let us know what the children had been doing. I'd highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.
Our children are ages 5 and 3, they both went to The House that Jack Built from when they were 9 months old and we never had a day when they didn't want to go in. They have such a great time in the nursery, doing a lot of activities outdoors and indoors. The space is great and so versatile, with a lot of different rooms and spaces. It is always clean and kept in pristine condition which is amazing especially considering the wear and tear with small kids! The food is always healthy with the occasional treat and it exposes them to a variety of tastes and textures, I just wished they ate all the vegetables they eat there at home! The best thing is surely the staff, the carer has always been incredible with our kids, nurturing and loving them while giving them clear boundaries. The carer always collaborated closely with us, for example, our daughter was not keen on holding any pencil but she worked with us and now she can easily write her name. We couldn't recommend this nursery more.
Our sons aged 4 and 1 year attend The House that Jack Built - Marlow Bottom. Our eldest joined when he was 6-months-old and leaves to join big school this September, over the last 4 years he has been continuously happy, content and especially in his last year in preparation for school has grown tremendous amounts in self-confidence and we have no doubt our youngest will follow suit. The staff are always happy, welcoming and very caring towards the children, they know our children extremely well and are always on hand to give advice as and when we ask. They have a lovely big outdoor space on different levels which was really important to us as parents of two active little boys! The meals they eat always sound delicious and we would not hesitate in recommending The House that Jack Built to anyone! Both of our children settled back so well following COVID-19 lockdown which is a credit to the hard work and effort the team have clearly done behind the scenes.
The nursery and its staff continue to provide a warm and friendly environment for my children. The children are engaged daily in meaningful activities that support their learning and development. The staff offer advice and support to parents and clearly understand who our children are, this leads to confidence in the nurseries care and conduct. My children look forward to going to nursery, they are making new friends, learning new skills and being supported as they grow. A big thank you.
My son is very happy at the nursery. Staff have worked with my son, throughout his 3 years there, adapting their ways according to his personality and needs in order to get the best from him. I love the outside play, the outside area where the pre-schoolers are involved in growing vegetables and he has started to build some very strong bonds with staff and children.
