View Full Details of Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and PreschoolI've been really impressed by the Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and Preschool team, both the management and the carers in the baby room. They have taken great care of our son, communicated well, and accommodated his needs. Well done!
Honestly, from the moment we viewed Wimbledon House to being part of your nursery. I have felt nothing but warmth, kindness and a place which is full of nurturing people. We came over to you because we knew one of the ladies, but quickly learned just what a beautiful space and people there are at Wimbledon House. Where even my other child likes to roam the nursery and feels happy and content, which is something rather special. He is severely autistic and finds new spaces a challenge. He has always felt happy and willing to explore Wimbledon House. I feel sad that he didn't get the same chance to attend Wimbledon House as his brother. If your child has additional needs, I feel they will thrive here. We would really like to say thank you to the ladies, who have comforted me when life has truly been difficult. Giving me space in the sensory room with both boys, checking in and being a sounding board for our family dynamics- Thank you!
All care are very kind and caring. They give you all the information about your child, what they have eaten, what activities they did through the day. They really look after your child. Nursery has got an app which is very helpful and give you up to date information about your child.
I am so happy with how well my daughter has settled into Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and Preschool. Although the settling-in period was initially a bit challenging for her, the staff were incredibly supportive, patient and understanding, which made a huge difference. They took the time to get to know her, creating a calm and reassuring environment that helped her feel comfortable and secure. Now, I am amazed at how much she has flourished! She has become more confident, happy and engaged in the activities. She looks forward to her days at nursery and I can see her social and emotional development progressing beautifully. The nurturing and welcoming atmosphere at Bright Horizons has been a perfect fit for her and I feel so reassured knowing she's in such caring and professional hands. I highly recommend Bright Horizons in Wimbledon to any parent looking for a supportive, enriching nursery experience for their child.
One of the best nurseries in our area. My older son graduated from here, and now my younger son is going here too. The teachers are very friendly, caring, and attentive. We haven't had any issues with either of my children. We are very satisfied.
The nursery has been good for my children. Staff are very attentive to the children. Communication with staff has never been an issue. Even though you get updates on your child's activity when present via an app, staff will always update parents with their progress when collected. I think this is amazing as it allows open communication between staff and parents to monitor development, creating a collaborative approach in promoting consistency with child's progress. I always get good feedback from my child at the end of the day, which is always good news.
Our daughter has joined this nursery for over 2 years now and it's incredible to see how much she has developed since. The staff is caring, friendly and hard-working, and we can tell that our daughter loves them and feels comfortable around them, which is all that matters.
Our son has attended Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 10 months old. The nursery staff have been fantastic from day one with our son. They have nurtured our son's development through play and he has developed great friendships with the other children and also with the staff. The outdoor play yard is large and gorgeous - great for outdoor play, gardening and they have incorporated yoga and music play which our son loves. I trust the team implicitly with our son's care and all of the staff genuinely love the children! I am so sad that our son will be moving on to school this September however he has had a brilliant grounding. Thank you Bright Horizons!
My son has been at the nursery from 8 months old and will leave as he heads to school in September. He has thrived in the loving and nurturing environment that the staff have created and I have been extremely happy with the level of care he has received. Communication from the team has always been great and they have socialised any issues at the appropriate times, always with a focus on the welfare of the children. No complaints whatsoever and would recommend to others.
I have had two children at this nursery since they were babies and have always been thoroughly impressed by the caring and enthusiastic attitude of all the staff (including support staff who float around different rooms). Another plus is the fantastic outdoor space for a London nursery, it allows great free play alongside their structured activities.
Both my daughters have attended this nursery. Older one graduated last year from pre-school and the second one is in baby room. I could not raise my daughters without the support and love from everyone at the nursery. The staff are caring, responsible and genuinely love the kids. They are always alert to the kids' requirements and very good at communicating. Lovely nursery setting with ample outdoor space for babies and toddlers to run around.
We have a highly positive experience with this nursery (preschool). Our son had no knowledge of English and he had a difficult and unsuccessful start in another place. Here in Wimbledon House Day nursery he could have a very slow and smooth introduction - this was what he needed, and already three weeks after joining the group our son didn’t want to be picked up earlier than his friends and he started to bring his first English words home. The nursery has a spacious garden and very cosy and bright rooms, I can rate everything only positive, but for me it is much more about the support we got here. Now I see that our son is happy and confident in this place and I’m very grateful to all the staff for their help.
We were looking for a new nursery for my youngest (13 months old at the time) as he was struggling to adapt in the old nursery where his brother attended. We found Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery and Preschool and since the beginning, we felt it was the right place for my kids. Settling process was respectful and mindful of every child's needs (both my 13-month-old and 3-year-old started in the nursery). I can only say good things about the nursery after seven months have passed. Staff and management are caring, thoughtful, kind and respectful. I recommend highly and wouldn't think of any other nursery to have my children in.
Bright Horizons Wimbledon is an amazing nursery, with staff being very focused on the children’s wellbeing, in establishing connections with them and catering to their needs. The staff is flexible and tries to accommodate parents’ requests. They are also honest in their feedback on how the day went and provide regular updates on the app on what the children are up to. Another positive was having the opportunity to have a 2-week settling period for the children which made it easier for them to adjust slowly to the nursery and staff. It is more expensive than other nurseries in the area but it’s worth the extra cost.
Trying to choose a nursery for my daughter was hard but when I viewed Bright Horizons I thought it was so lovely and had plenty of space. My daughter didn’t settle to start with as it was all new for her but after a few weeks she was so happy to come to nursery and seeing her play with friends and learn new skills has been great. They do different activities each day and they get to play in the garden everyday which has plenty of space and things to do. My daughter loves the bikes. No need to take anything apart from spare clothes as they provide nappies, cream, food, and water for all the children. The management team are great and it’s nice to see them in different rooms so you know they are engaging with the children as well as managing the place as a whole. The team have been great and they are always welcoming and friendly, even the team from the other rooms that you may not know or speak with about your child but if they are passing they always say hello.
My son has been attending the nursery for over 2 years now and he is so happy there – it feels like a second home to him and he has made so many friends. All of the staff are so friendly and supportive and they provide him with so much care and positivity. I have always found the key workers to be very communicative and the admin team are so efficient. I would highly recommend it.
Our oldest daughter went to Wimbledon House from when she was just under one year old until she left to start school, and currently, our youngest daughter attends the baby room. In our experience, we have always found everyone at Wimbledon House dedicated and caring. They have gone above and beyond to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our two children. The amount of love for the children was shown abundantly by the staff speeches made during the Graduation ceremony for our oldest (just before she left). We have also been very pleased with the facilities and activities on offer. There are ample outdoor spaces for the kids to play in, (with spacious gardens). And we’ve been quite impressed with many of the craft items our kids bring home. The nursery uses an app to keep you updated on your little one’s progress. I’ve found it brilliant as there are lots of lovely photos showcasing your little one’s activities. Overall we are very happy with the care provided for our two!
The staff are so lovely and attentive here and my daughter really enjoys coming to nursery! The activities that the carers do on a daily basis are great and it’s fantastic that we get to see it on the app - the timeline of events provided by the staff puts both of us parents at ease whilst we are working! The staff keep us updated at pick-ups on how the day has gone and genuinely care and support the children. In addition, the management staff are so friendly and helpful! overall, we couldn't be happier having our daughter here! Thanks so much!
Our daughter, who is autistic, has been in the nursery since she was 18 months old. She had the best possible childhood memories because of this nursery. The staff are passionate about our children and it was very obvious during the graduation with all the tears in their eyes. They became attached to her and as her to them. They are caring and in fact, they manage to mix a bit of education into the fun the children are having. Our daughter has improved and learned a lot from them. The environment is very safe. The nursery employs creative means of play and it was clear to us that our child has improved in imaginative play. Special mention to the manager and deputy manager who both worked hard with the council on our daughter's speech and occupational therapy. The manager has been instrumental in getting us an EHCP (educational, health and care plan) for our daughter and they worked hard to ensure our daughter gets all the care and help needed from the SEN team.
My daughter has just left Bright Horizons to start reception. She’s enjoyed her time there and it’s been lovely to see her grow and develop and make friends. The staff have been friendly and welcoming from day one. We really felt part of the Bright Horizons family.
