View Full Details of Spring Nursery KinlossI have had 2 of my children go through Spring Nursery. I cannot fault the staff. They are absolutely amazing with the children and put the children's interests and safety first. Through any staffing issues, they have always kept us informed and everyone they have hired is absolutely amazing.
Both our daughters attend Spring in Kinloss and they love attending the nursery. I have one daughter in the baby group and my other has moved up to the next group after being at Spring for a year and a half. The staff are all fantastic and have great communication with myself and husband about our children's day and developments and are all really friendly and caring with the children. The outdoor space and indoor space are spacious and have a good set-up with interactive play stations. Our children have progressed so much since starting in Spring and thrive from bring at Spring. They have tasty and varied snacks and meals throughout the day. Myself and husband are very thankful our daughters are able to attend Spring.
My daughter is in her second year at Spring Nursery and she absolutely loves it there. Her development and speech has come on amazingly. The Staff are amazing and approachable and I love that they post photos so I can see what she's been doing throughout the day. 100% recommend Spring Nursery, Kinloss to anyone.
The staff at Spring Kinloss provide a consistently high standard of care for the children in their setting. They frequently go 'above and beyond' to ensure every child's needs are met to the best of their ability. Whether it's menu alternatives for allergies, additional training to support specific needs, or providing alternative/additional play opportunities, they do it all. I can say with some confidence that my child is thriving in part due to the care she receives in nursery. The staff are great at providing parents with reassurance and information when needed and I've felt very well informed and supported through navigating 3-5 funding and my child's transition into 'the big room', already knowing who her key worker will be and the steps taken by nursery to ensure a smooth transition for us both.
My daughter had previously attended this nursery and absolutely loved it. Now my son is there, and I expected him to struggle more with his behaviour, learning and speech development. But I have been so amazed by the progress he has made there, all thanks to the whole team at Spring. They truly are fantastic, everything is taken into consideration with them, very professional and always so friendly. My son quickly adjusted to nursery and is absolutely thriving. Thank you Team Spring!
A wonderful nursery. Clean, well-supplied, spacious both inside and outside. The staff are knowledgeable and mostly passionate about their practice. They split the different age groups into titled groups, for example 'inventors'. They then assign specific staff to each room with some floating in between. This nursery is a well-oiled machine and I would highly recommend it. Being a parent who highly prioritises security, I also value the fact that the nursery is 'behind the wire' on the domestic site of Kinloss Barracks. This must be one of the safest nurseries in Scotland. Thank you to all the staff so far.
My child has been attending Spring Kinloss since August last year and loves it and is always happy to go. All the staff are very friendly and always happy to help should you have any concerns. The Nursery menus are good and offer a nice variety.
I moved my twin girls here for their final year of nursery and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done for my girls. Their independence and confidence has come on so much in this past year and their nursery experience at Spring Nursery Kinloss has made them comfortably ready for primary 1. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and always go above and beyond to help with flexibility for myself as a working parent, I could not be more appreciative of this. My girls always come away so happy and the experiences they get here are amazing, the children really do come first. Well done spring kinloss ladies, you are all amazing! Thank you!
Great caring and flexible staff. Lots of developmental activities (indoors and outdoors), great food, friendly environment for kids. What more can you ask for. I love Spring Nursery Kinloss and so does my kid.
Since moving to the area in Summer 2023 we could not have been happier about Spring Nursery. Our son has settled in so well and they have taken an active approach in assisting with his more complex needs! We could not recommend the nursery highly enough!
My son has been at Spring for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so easy to talk to and are extremely accommodating. The hours are amazing and I’d say are probably the best in the area. The food offered to the children is also excellent. I’d highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking.
My son's development has come along so much since attending Spring, I absolutely love seeing all the pictures they post of the week and it's lovely to see what my son has been up to. The activities they participate in various day to day and I don't think my son could ever get bored!
As an experienced, recently retired teacher I have been very impressed by many aspects of Spring Kinloss. My grandson is always happy to go and, with the good communication of the child's daily experiences via the online portal, we are able to build on his learning at home. It helps decipher the four-year-old version of the day! He loves his time at nursery and regularly shares his adventures with us. For me, the recent video of youngsters jumping into a muddy puddle whilst at nursery sums up the child-centred approach. Children being children and learning whilst doing so. So lovely to see the freedom to explore and learn. Communication from staff is excellent and we have always felt welcome and involved.
Daughter has completed one year at Spring Kinloss Nursery. It was her first/last nursery after lockdown and full nurseries elsewhere. After one year my shy daughter has become more sociable and more communicative. She loves going into 'little school', having fun and is learning new topics and experiences. All the staff have been absolutely fantastic, and her key worker has top insight into her behaviour on areas to work on such as confidence/emotions. Usually, quiet kids get overlooked in most places. However, staff and key workers are observant and supportive, knowing she struggles to ask for help verbally, and instead will use her eyes to catch the attention of staff. Could see her being overlooked in other settings but the staff have been the best with her. It was wonderful that as a young January born, her key worker gave us the option to give her another year at Spring so she could work on her emotions/confidence more. We would love another year but she is keen to give big school a try! Thank you staff at Spring Kinloss Nursery!
The nursery is absolutely amazing, the staff are brilliant, and my son loves it there; he will be sad to leave this year to go to big school. They have been very supportive of my family when I needed a helping hand. My son thrives every day he is there, and he always comes out happy and cheerful. Not got a bad word to say about this nursery; I can't thank them enough for having a helping hand with my son. Would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone! He's always got exciting and happy stories to tell every day he comes home. They adapt to my needs when I've changed jobs and hours and made my life a lot easier, so I wish to thank all the staff for the amazing job they do and continue to do, especially through the hard times that the world is going through, they've kept everyone safe.
We love how friendly and easy the staff are and how understanding they can be. Both of my boys attend this nursery, and they love it. They both have additional needs, and they can be a challenge at times, but it’s never been an issue for the nursery so far. The only downside I would say is due to staffing and Covid, one of my boys doesn’t get their full funded hours, which is important to us due to him being well behind in his development. But we are more than happy with what we have now and hope the hours will go up soon.
Spring Kinloss is a wonderful nursery with brilliant, kind, caring and knowledgeable staff. They have made both myself and my son feel safe and welcome. I receive regular updates on how my child is getting on during the day easing any worries. Most importantly, he comes home smiling and happy after each day with them with a full tummy of healthy food I didn’t have to cook!
My son has been attending spring nursery since last August, where he was in a paid place in the 2-3 group. We initially decided to put him here one morning a week as his social peer skills had suffered due to lockdown, and because we had applied to put him to Spring for his funded place. Since August and also since attending full time with his funded hours, my son has come on loads. He is much better at interacting with his peers and happy to be around them. Spring has been great at supporting him through his toilet training over the last months. During his time in the 2-3 group, we got regular updates on what he had done that day, toilet training and also what he has eaten. Although we don't get as many updates due to being in a larger group, we still get several group and individual updates, including photos every week with what he has been up to. The app is fantastic for this as well, as a means of easily contacting the staff. The staff are also very friendly and approachable.
The staff at Spring have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure the children have had the opportunity to thrive, despite facing challenging circumstances with staff shortages. They encourage the use of the outdoor area and are quick to pick up on the children's interests and shape learning around that.
Spring has really helped my daughter come out of her shell. Last year, when she started, she wasn't walking or talking, now she is running around, and her words are really coming on great, with the support from the staff at Spring. She used to cling to me at drop off, but now goes running into nursery without looking back.
