From visiting this nursery in December 2023, we knew that the smaller, home from home feel would be ideal for our son who gets easily overwhelmed. Fast forward to September 2024 and our initial impressions were not wrong. Our son was at first very distressed and it took him a while to settle. The staff were so compassionate, reassuring and patient, not to mention persistent! Their hard work paid off and he has now formed an amazing bond with his key worker! Since September he has developed so well and we've loved seeing him engage in the varied activities. The staff encourage the children to engage with new sensory stimuli and they thoughtfully plan activities to suit their interests. This is timely communicated on the app. The facilities are engaging - my son loves the sensory room! The menu is also incredible, he eats so well each day! Picking a nursery is a difficult decision but this one gets five Shooting Stars! The staff genuinely care about the children. It was the best decision we made!

Going back to work after maternity after having a baby can be such an emotional and difficult time. But knowing my little boy is in such good hands and has settled so quickly after only starting at the start of the year is such a reassurance. The staff are amazing and have not only been amazing with my little boy but with me too, giving that support and regular updates to what he has been up to (all through an online app and cameras I can check in on!) You can see how much my little boy loves them all and has the best time. In such a short time he has taken part in some lovely activities, such as sand, water, sensory activities and outdoor play. I have noticed a huge difference in his development, learning new things each time he comes away. If you are thinking of taking your little one to Shooting Stars, I honestly couldn't recommend it enough! Thank you so much!

Our first experiences of the nursery since our child started in Sep 24 have all been excellent. We have been impressed by the friendliness of all the staff and our baby's development has been amazing so far. He loves going to nursery and spending time there. We are also impressed by the transparency of the daily updates provided on the app and the ability to check on our child via nursery cam. Overall, we are very pleased and hoping for the excellent service to continue.

Shooting Stars at Hinckley are exceptional. Their manner, dedication, support and facilities embody everything you could ever wish for in a childcare provider - and more. They are the fourth nursery I've experienced and by far the highest standard. My child cannot wait to attend, having formed strong bonds with all the staff and being given opportunities to develop in a fun and engaging way. Whether it's messy play, song time, outdoor exploration or meal times, he loves every minute. The staff relationships with parents is also outstanding, always greeting with a smile, personalising interactions and showing that nothing is ever too much trouble. I 100% recommend Shooting Stars.

I cannot rate this nursery enough! Being a very nervous parent to twins, one of which has complex health needs, it was really important to find the right nursery for us all! From the minute I set foot in Shooting Stars for our look around I immediately felt at ease. We had to look at the nursery of two very different children's perspectives. The nursery catered for both above and beyond. We had our first stay-and-play where we were able to stay and talk to all the practitioners which also put our minds at ease. I told them all about my worries and concerns to which they listened and reassured me. With my daughter, I was concerned about how the other children and about the environment she would be in. I explained my concerns and on my second visit, it was clear that all my concerns had been listened to and they had put fantastic plans into place. The equipment and activities they have for both of my children are fantastic. Would recommend it to everyone.

I couldn't be happier with the care provided at Shooting Stars Hinckley. The staff are professional and clearly love what they do. My son absolutely loves going to nursery and has a great bond with the girls that take care of him. Also, shout out to the chef too - food is a big thing in our household and my son eats so well at nursery - the menu is healthy and varied and similar to the meals we would serve him at home. I would highly recommend this childcare facility to friends and family.

Happy with the support and care my child gets every day. My daughter enjoys every moment of Shooting Stars. The staff are friendly and caring. She’s having a good time. No concerns at all. Can see she has improved her social skills since she started nursery.

My daughter has been at Shooting Stars now since she was 9 months old, she’s now 2.4 years old and still loving being at nursery. I feel like Shooting Stars Hinckley really focuses on childhood development and offers great learning opportunities for my daughter. She thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and can’t wait to tell me what she’s got up to at nursery when I pick her up. The large rooms with lots of different resources for my daughter to explore and great garden space offer her plenty of room to run around and enjoy herself outside which she thoroughly loves! The staff are always really happy and polite when we’re around and give great feedback on my daughter’s day which is really reassuring to hear. Highly recommend.

We are so happy with the care our little boy has at Shooting Stars. Every day he goes into nursery happy and excited for the day. He has made lovely relationships with staff and has made friendships with other children in his room. His transition between rooms has been seamless and all anxiety about leaving him at nursery quickly disappeared. We know our little boy is loved when he goes to nursery and he has the best opportunities given to him to help him develop. The seasonal menu is incredible and he always finishes his meals or second servings. The menu at Shooting Stars is nutritious and similar to what he eats at home. It's all cooked in-house by their chef, who our little boy always waves at in the morning at drop-off. All the staff are very kind and welcoming and will take the time to explain things more thoroughly if needed, e.g. funding. The resources are fantastic and the garden is fantastic. We are very happy with our choice of nursery!

We’re so happy with our choice to send our daughter to Shooting Stars. The staff have been nothing but amazing throughout every transition. My daughter adores everyone in her room and has made some great friends. My favourite thing about Shooting Stars is the amazing menu they have for the children. They provide high-quality, nutritious, diverse food every day. They all sit together and eat the same thing which has really helped prevent any picky eating issues. My daughter consistently eats 2-3 plates of every meal - including the veggies! Couldn’t be happier with Shooting Stars and would recommend it in a heartbeat. So grateful for the tireless work all the staff members put in, from the people in the rooms to management, and everyone else who keeps it running smoothly. Thank you for everything you do!

Highly recommend this nursery. I have two children who both attend/attended here and would not go anywhere else. My eldest left preschool in August and my youngest has just started in baby room at 7 months old. The staff are extremely friendly, they really care and look after the children individually, building a very special bond. The rooms are clean and full of so many resources for the children to play with. There is a variety of food and my eldest always loved the food she was given!

My little boy has attended nursery since he was 10 months old. He has moved through the rooms and loved every stage. All of the staff are incredibly caring and attentive and my son has absolutely flourished in the setting.

Both of our daughters have attended Shooting Stars with my youngest now in Pre School 1. We are extremely happy with the level of service provided, all the staff are friendly and welcoming and our daughter is always excited to go and play and see her friends. We have noticed her vocabulary and other skills improving hugely as a result of the care she receives at nursery and would recommend this setting to anyone.

Both my children have/are attending Shooting Stars, the care from all of the staff here is second to none. My first child attended shooting stars over six years ago and a lot of the staff are still here from then, clearly showing what a great place it is. The staff truly make this place, they are always going the extra mile to make this a wonderful place for your children to flourish in.

This is such a lovely and supportive nursery. They are so good at communicating and supporting all of my son's educational and emotional needs in and out of the nursery. My son has a lovely bond with his key worker, who is very informative. He is so happy to go to nursery, and we have watched his confidence blossom over the time he has attended. I think we will all miss Shooting Stars a lot when he goes to school.

Since our son started nursery in September, he has come on leaps and bounds. His confidence has grown so much with every passing week. There is no better feeling than seeing him run excitedly to the door, waving to his friends and key people. We love being able to see what he gets up to on the app and on the camera. We recommend the nursery to all family and friends. The staff and facilities are amazing! Thank you for being the best for our son.

Wonderful staff providing excellent care. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, and it’s amazing seeing how well she has developed since she started. We are really grateful to every member of the team who has made her nursery experience a positive one.

My first child started earlier this year when I went back to work. The staff couldn't have been more supportive of my daughter and me during this transition. The building and garden are lovely. I felt secure with the communication I recieved daily from the nursery on the apps and at handover. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely nursery. Very nurturing with a wide range of activities every day. Good outdoor space with two play areas. Wide range of food on the menu Very clean and welcoming. Both my children have attended this nursery. The youngest is in the preschool room and loves it!
