Very pleased with the standard of care provided at Hawthorn House. The staff are caring, knowledgeable and staff turnover is very low. It is a very well-run nursery with great facilities and outdoor space. My child absolutely loves coming to nursery and the routine it provides. The days are well structured with outdoor time, free play and learning all catered for. Nursery has been a great support with my child's eating (learning how to hold cutlery etc), self-care as well as counting and encouraging creative activities such as singing, art and dancing. All food is freshly prepared on-site and my child eats everything. Fantastic small chain of nurseries where you get the benefit of a smaller nursery within a larger framework (such as the benefit of an early years teacher who sets a teaching curriculum etc). Very happy we chose Hawthorn House for our child's nursery provision.

Couldn't be more pleased with our choice of nursery. The food, activities and outdoor area are very impressive and we appreciate the daily sheet detailing how the day went. The staff are all so caring and my son is excited to go in each morning! They really ease my mind as I know he is being well looked after.

Hawthorn House is a wonderful and homely place. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and supportive. My son started there when he was 2 years old. With English being not our first language, I was worried about him settling into the nursery but the staff have been kind and understanding with him. After first few weeks, he really enjoyed going to the nursery. He has become more confident, social and active kid. He specially enjoyed all the activities at the nursery. Staff focus on the individual needs of each child in aspect to their overall development. Also, the parent app and weekly newsletter kept us updated about these activities. A big thanks goes to all the staff working in the nursery. Keep up your good work.

Couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my little boy. He’d just turned 1 year's old when he started and from day one I knew I’d made the right choice. The staff have been fantastic. He literally jumps into their arms when I drop him off. I can personally tell they genuinely have a love for the kids. Very informative, at the end of the day I get a little note with how his day's gone and they also discuss this in person which is nice. They do lots of different activities with regular updates on the app they use. I love the food menu, very versatile and always changing. All in all 100% happy with Hawthorne House and wouldn’t think twice about recommending it.

We highly recommend Hawthorn House to anyone. Everyone is so friendly and they go above and beyond for our little girl. She loves going and loves all of the staff. Our mind is always at ease whilst she is there. It is such a personable and homely nursery. They do so many activities with the children, and always communicate everything about her day with us which we love hearing all about.

We have had the greatest experience of Hawthorn House and all the staff. It is very personable and friendly. We cannot thank the staff enough for making the transition to day nursery easy for our daughter. They have put our minds at ease and provided updates and feedback on how she does on a daily basis. The team are fantastic and make the nursery a fun and engaging place for all the children. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Each day the children do a range of activities and are always learning new things to help their development.

A wonderful little, intimate, homely nursery with brilliant and friendly staff. My son loves going every morning and he’s come on so much since starting at Hawthorn house. Thank you to all of the staff who work here!

Hawthorn House Day Nursery is by far one of the best. The ladies are so passionate about their job and do anything and everything for all children and parents. Becoming a parent during the Covid-19 pandemic was already hard enough, going from being at home with my daughter every day to working full-time and putting her in nursery was extremely hard for me and my partner. It took us a while to find the perfect nursery for her and somewhere where we would feel at ease until we found Hawthorn House. My daughter has developed so much in such a short space of time and I couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery. The staff are all amazing and I would, without doubt, recommend this nursery to friends and family. Keep doing what your doing ladies! Amazing.

Hawthorn House is a fantastic nursery. Both of our children attended and enjoyed many happy years there. The manager and staff are brilliant and they really take the time to get to know the children in their care and provide a stimulating and caring environment. There are always various activities for the children to get involved in and parents are kept well informed of events and how the children are doing. We would recommend Hawthorn House to other parents without hesitation.

We chose Hawthorn House based on the homely, family feel and the welcoming staff. Our elder child had attended an Ofsted-outstanding nursery which is part of a very large chain, but we were looking for a smaller setting with fewer children and more consistency in staffing. Now our younger child has been attending Hawthorn House four days a week for a number of months, I can say we have not been disappointed. Within a week, he was going in very happily and has every day since. We have been impressed with the variety and quality of activities offered, the very regular observations and information provided over the course of the week (as well as frequent informative communications such as the newsletter) and the individual planning for learning and progress. His keyworker has taken time to get to know him, and all of the team come across as warm and caring. The overwhelming sense is of a calm and well-planned environment where they really care about the children.

Hawthorne House Day Nursery is an exceptional place where the staff are phenomenal, always going the extra mile for the children and making them feel safe. Since my son has attended here, his development is coming on leaps and bounds. His independence and confidence are improving due to the wonderful care he receives from them and the excellent learning resources and activities. I'm especially impressed with the cleanliness, the healthy food they serve and the online updates and newsletters we receive to keep up to date with everything that's happening there. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Hawthorn House is a lovely nursery. I love the homely feel. All the staff are friendly, understanding and supportive. It always gave me comfort that he really enjoyed going to nursery, he has enjoyed his time at Hawthorn. We will miss you!

Amazing staff. I have sent both my children there, they have come on so much. Time for big school but they are ready, the support from day one to their final day has been incredible. I knew that they were safe and being looked after with great care. Thank you

My daughter has attended this nursery for the past 2 years and absolutely loves it. All the staff are wonderful and engage with her and all other children brilliantly. They listen to all requests and fulfil them when you want something doing. What made me choose this nursery above all the other in the local area is the nice homely feel that it has. It’s small and cosy compared to others which are very clinical. Everything is clean and even my daughter comments and does role play at home copying how the staff cleans this reassures me that standards are even kept up during the day. The menu is excellent and works on a 4-week rota so I know my daughter is having a varied and nutritional diet. There is a big outdoor play area which is excellent and my daughter enjoys it. I love the tapestry updates that I get about my daughter throughout the day and also the weekly newsletter to keep me updated on what has happened and what’s upcoming. I highly recommend this nursery.

I would highly recommend this nursery, both my children have attended and the staff are fantastic, friendly, welcoming, caring and professional. The nursery is managed really well and you are always kept up to date with your child’s progress.

My son started here last September and his confidence and abilities have continued to shine throughout his time at Hawthorn House. He loves all the staff and the great facilities they have. The staff are always very friendly and informative of how he has been and upcoming events and activities.

I couldn't speak more highly of the staff at Hawthorn House. As a family, we have been through some difficult times over the last six months or so and the manager has been very supportive, my daughter loves the staff and has made some good friends.

I have three children aged 13, five and one and all three have been looked after by the staff at Hawthorn House with my youngest still there. The staff are wonderful and I know my children are safe and looked after, and they enjoy it so much. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
