View Full Details of Busy Bees Picket TwentyMy little one has settled in so well during his first month, he's so happy every morning going in and still as happy when we collect him at the end of the day. The staff are so friendly and helpful with any queries I have, thank you so much.
Always had a positive experience with Busy Bees, they are great at giving feedback and updating me on what activities and progress has been made throughout the day. They also have indicators for important developmental milestones which helps me see where my little one is with their development.
From the offset, the staff have been very welcoming and accommodating to my child. They are always happy to help and keep you updated on how the day's gone. Including what my child has eaten and how she's slept.
My daughter has just finished nursery here. We went through a change of ownership, staffing changes, the works. One thing has remained consistent throughout. The dedication and commitment of the staff. Concerns have always been dealt with with speed and care. Our daughter was premature and has a neurological condition, the nursery supported us well. Their preschool room is currently run by someone who has a background of very recently working as a teacher in reception. I firmly believe this has led to the children being in a strong position to start school next week compared to peers in other settings. Every nursery is different, make your own choices, don't believe everything on social media. Our daughter always looked forward to nursery and cried tonight on the way home because she wouldn't see her key worker again.
My daughter has only been there for 3 months (including the 8-week notice period) There is no communication between staff members and the manager or between the nursery and parents. In one incident the manager was really unprofessional, rude, and just couldn't care less about me as a parent. Don't waste your time and money. Find a better place for your child.
I really couldn't fault the baby room at all, from the get go the room leader was lovely and welcoming, she introduced us to everyone within the room and showed us around and explained what apps could be downloaded for us as parents. We're regularly kept updated with pictures, sleep and food within one of the apps and our child loves all the messy play the team creates. Thank you to the staff and an extra thank you to one staff member in particular for answering all of our silly questions initially and helping our child to transition into nursery. Fabulous team really couldn't fault them.
From the first time meeting the staff, I have been really impressed by how they work and care for our son. When I come to pick him up sometimes he doesn't want to leave he is having so much fun! Really happy that he settled in so well and they are relly responsive to his needs. The only thing that would make things better is if the fees weren't so steep!
I have only positive things to say about this nursery. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of our child’s development. They create a lovely atmosphere and plan fun activities and our child is always so happy to be dropped off in the morning. They’re working with us on the weaning journey and are very accommodating with dietary requirements. Always kept updated through the app which gives great peace of mind! Can’t say enough good things.
Busy Bees have been very supportive of my child since starting. They always give great feedback and updates each day and throughout the day. The extra activities for seasonal events are always great.
Wow-what can I say? From the very beginning, I've been so impressed with how they've responded to my little one's needs. Starting nursery at only 10 months old they were just fantastic at helping him adjust to the nursery setting. They are always willing to work with us when it comes to routines and I find that we work well as a team learning from each other. My little one loves his key worker and room leader, sometimes I don't even get acknowledgement at pick-up. He has so much fun and is learning so much so fast, I almost can't keep up with him! Thank you Busy Bees!
My son has been in hatchlings since the start of the year and the improvement I have seen in him is absolutely incredible. You are all so loving and I can tell he feels super comfortable coming in every morning. He has grown in confidence and I won’t ever be able to thank you all enough for that! Thank you for everything!
My son has recently started at Busy Bees Picket Twenty after moving him from another nursery. We have been so impressed with the care he is receiving. He is so happy going in each day and is never in any rush to go home! The team in the preschool room have been absolutely fantastic with him, they have really got to know him and find out the things he likes. We are so glad we made the decision to enrol our son, thank you Busy Bees!
I have had both my little ones at Busy Bees Nursery and really love the feeling when you walk in through the front door. It’s so friendly and feels like an extended family, which is what you want as a mother when dropping their little one. My son loves it and comes home happy. Lovely staff and a lovely environment!
We have been using Busy Bees Picket Twenty since July 2023 and we have been very impressed month after month. The staff are so encouraging and supportive of my child's needs. They offer a wide range of appropriate activities that will aid my child's development, social skills and practical abilities. I have seen a real positive difference in my child, only since the few months he has been at Busy Bees Picket Twenty. We as parents thank you all endlessly for the work you do.
Brilliant nursery. Always kept fully up to date on what my child has been doing throughout the day. Activities are varied and the sort of thing that would be difficult to do at home. The staff are all extremely friendly and kind. I would (and do) recommend Busy Bees to any parent. Most importantly, my child loves being there and is always excited to be dropped off.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming. My daughter is very settled and happy in her current room, and the staff members in there are brilliant. The food offered is a variety, some good, some not so, but it’s all cooked onsite by a fab chef.
The team at Busy Bees Picket Twenty have been brilliant since our daughter joined when she was a year old. Since joining she has thrived, growing in confidence and her use of makaton has come on so much. The staff are caring, supportive, keep communication open and are always willing to adapt as needed - our daughter has food allergies and as soon as we told them they looked into care plans, meal plans and making sure that her needs were accommodated. Our daughter's face lights up when we tell her it's a nursery day and seeing the updates and pictures of all the adventures and activities they have is brilliant.
My experience of this setting is quite poor, that said the staff are wonderful and I feel very welcomed by them, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the management. My main frustration is due to the lack of tracking and providing updates on a child's progress and next steps, especially on the extension of activities such as basic phonics and maths. I find myself chewing down on management excuses for not doing something a lot of the time, like staff shortages which have ridiculed the nursery for over a year now, my child has had several key people with no consistent key person and ever-changing room staff. Even now it has been taken over by Busy Bees the centre is plagued with staff shortages and you will usually find cover staff in the rooms who just make up the required staff-to-child ratio. Overall, my feedback is to avoid the setting and find a setting that cares not only for the child but the family as well.
The nursery is amazing. My son started at 8-months-old and the transition from home to nursery life was so smooth. The staff make me and my child feel so safe and welcome, the staff are so lovely and really show they care for your child. The management team are so supportive and flexible to suit your needs. I feel the learning opportunities are outstanding and he has thrived with the education he is provided within this setting.
Egg Day Nursery was the best decision we made. Our little girl has just thrived there and often doesn't want to come home when we go to fetch her. They do such wonderful activities with the kids too! All the carers/teachers are so wonderful with the children and always so friendly and supportive.
