The best nursery I ever found for my daughter . She is been doing so well now so confident and articulate . The girls in the team are fantastic kind and empathetic. for new mums who are worrying and looking for the best nursery for their kids I would say Townsend nursery Maidstone would be the best choice . My experience in the nursing was ok Most of the teachers have spoke with are patient, understanding and friendly and also supportive the manager and another member of staff are good in their roles and can give you listen ears and help sort things out when needed. Two members of staff are patient with the kids and I believe the other teachers too may you all be blessed and I appreciate looking after my daughter and making them learn as the kids are our feature leaders. I hope and pray my daughter will have a good time in the nursery

I am very satisfied, best nursery in town, Staff are very polite humble and professional, taken excellent care of of the child's, I am very glad that I brought my child to this nursery, I used to take him to a different nursery he was never happy and staff were very reluctant in some areas.

Am happy with the care, safety of my kids whenever they are in school as they been taught a lot of things including activities done with great meal as well And I will like to thank all staff and management for their time and effort

This could be a great nursery if it was run well and had leaders who had a clear vision and strive to improve the nursery and give the children the best start in life. Since being bought out by The Old Station Nursery, this nursery has completely changed, cutting and losing staff that were amazing with the children. Very poor communication with parents, their app is rarely used so have no insight into what your child has done. Staff often complain themselves they are short-staffed and so there is no consistency in which adults are in rooms and staff morale is low. My child has had 3 key workers in a year and they have no idea about him all you get told is they’ve had a good day. Health and safety practices are concerning at times and put children at risk with staffing or fire safety practices. My child regularly is unhappy about going to nursery when at the beginning of his journey it was such a happy place. The recent Ofsted inspection is not a reflection of the nursery.

Really nice nursery. my daughter gets very excited to go and has made many friends. The staff are so patient and kind; they give lots of attention to the children and comfort them when needed, which is a relief to know as a parent.

Townsend is a very good nursery. They are very carrying to the kids which is the most important thing when you leave your kid to be look after specially in their age. My daughter really enjoys going there and playing with her friends and the staff. Overall they care about the kids and how they are developing.

I would highly recommend this setting to anybody looking for affordable but excellent childcare in Maidstone. I contacted the nursery in a panic when our childcare fell through and was able to view and secure a space for my son quickly. We haven't been at the nursery long but he has settled very well, the staff are lovely and he regularly talks about his key worker at home. The meals offered are fantastic and have him eating things he wouldn't dream of trying at home. They are accommodating when our schedules change due to a temporarily long commute and my son spends most of the evening excitedly telling us about his day. This is the fourth setting we have used due to relocations and so far, is the best service we have received.

Very happy with the nursery. My daughter absolutely loves going here! All team members are very professional and passionate about their job. Since she started going here she has improved dramatically! She learned so many new skills! I can’t be happier! Highly recommend, 5 star service.

My daughter loves Townsend Montessori Nursery, they have lovely rooms and great facilities for play and learning. She loves the staff and they have been brilliant with her, helping her gain confidence and taking their time with settling her when needed. Communication has been an issue at times, with the new app not working and some newsletters and general information being missed, but anything relating to my child has been communicated well.

My experience with the nursery is that the staff are polite and friendly. They put the child’s needs first. My daughter graduated last year and had an amazing time there. She was so quiet and shy not talking to people now she has confidence, plays with everyone and has loads of friends in her new school. This year my son started there and he loves it coming home telling me what he learned.

I would just like to thank all the staff at Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone, where my daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old. She has grown from strength to strength in her social skills and academically and her confidence is growing so much! All the staff are very friendly and extremely welcoming and I feel at ease that my daughter is in very safe hands. I will definitely be sending my next baby there!

We have sent our three children to Townsend Montessori Nursery over the last 3 years. We couldn’t be more positive - it’s a fantastic nursery with wonderful staff. The children are always well entertained with fantastic activities to help them learn and play. At the end of the day our kids come home happy and chatting about the things that happened to them that day. Having visited a number of nurseries in Maidstone we feel strongly that it was the best choice.

This could be such an amazing nursery if it were managed properly. Constant poor communication from management and from some staff over the last 2 years. A handful of the staff are really lovely and do a great job. I’ve overheard other parents in the room up complaining about issues with communication too so I doubt I’ll let my child continue at this nursery for much longer. The latest parent app they now use is a step backwards from the old app too, can no longer message the rooms directly anymore creating even more communication issues, missed events and emails not passed over to the rooms the children are in. Emails in general often ignored. Such a shame. I've voiced my concerns many times and keep giving this nursery chances to improve but overall it’s just full of continual disappointment.

Excellent nursery; really caring, friendly staff and great facilities. Happy and content children with varied and positive learning activities. Would highly recommend this nursery and preschool. We love the Montessori ethos.

This nursery is so lovely, the staff are amazing. My son took a while to settle and they were brilliant! My son’s speech wasn’t very good and he’s now coming on brilliantly, he now loves it whilst he’s there.

Excellent nursery and my girl really enjoys going to the nursery. Lovely environment in which the kids can explore and have lots to play with. Friendly staff and they really appreciate every single growth of the kids. It would be great if more details can be shared with parents.

The staff at this nursery are extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter loves heading to this place. On a separate note, the new company who have taken over need to be given an education in people skills.

It is such a lovely nursery and wonderful staff. My daughter has been there since she was a little baby and she will be graduating soon and she absolutely loves it. She has made so many friends and I am so grateful for all the hard work that goes into her care.
