View Full Details of TippyToes Stantonbury NurseryThis is a wonderful nursery and we're so happy to send our children here. The garden and outdoor space is what drew us to the place and having visited for graduation we were reminded how amazing it is for the kids to enjoy outdoor play. All the staff we've come across during our 3 years so far have been lovely too and create lots of fun play options for the children every day.
My daughter was at TippyToes for 3 years, started age 14 months. The staff at the nursery have been fantastic in preparing her school and shaping her kind, caring and polite personality. There is a core of staff that has remained consistent throughout her time at the nursery which has been appreciated. The nursery feels like a home and the children are very well cared for, any incidents/accidents involving children, inevitable with this age group, are dealt with sensitively and investigated in full with appropriate vigour and clear learnings understood and implemented with staff. The nursery puts the needs of the children above everything. Activities are child-led and enrich the learnings of children and parents provided with feedback and all available opportunities. The children are fed well by the amazing chef with parents offered the opportunity to input on the menu. My child has had a great start in life with the TippyToes team - I would not hesitate to recommend this setting.
A wonderful family of children, parents and carers with such a committed team. The inside spaces are wonderful and the activities are thoughtful and child led. The outside spaces are remarkable and it is no surprise that both our children love any opportunity to go outside for play. The food is high quality and cooked onsite with fresh food and wonderful diversity. Our children have learned the spirit of community, routine, joy of play, and responsibility for themselves, their environment and others. They have built strong connections with each of their key workers. Key workers have always taken care to nurture my children's interests and have taken time to learn new skills - such as basic sign language and phonics - to ensure academic interests are also progressed. Fundamentally I know our children are safe, happy, well fed, developing great community attributes and happy to express themselves. I would recommend Tippy Toes to all.
I could not say enough great things about TippyToes, their staff, house and grounds and extra value actions have been invaluable and I will always hold a place in my heart for them. My son also turned 18 months and began to regress showing signs of autistic traits which they confidently and professionally advised us as parents of what they will be doing and what support and actions we needed to take and were able to hold our hands throughout. We were able to begin our Special Educational Needs Coordinator process on-site and externally and they put individual learning plans in place and spoke with us every day on pick up of his developments. Not to mention the main thing they supported us through was taking our child during the pandemic, as a mum, I was terrified. But they instilled and proved trust and understood the concern as a parent and handled it brilliantly. Especially my son's key workers who treated him like their own, we had a very sad goodbye when we left and I miss them to this day! I cannot thank them enough.
Such a lovely nursery! I would highly recommend it. My son loves it here, the staff has settled him in really nicely and given him and us the support we need. My son loves the messy play and time outdoors. We get really good feedback and updates from the staff and also the app. We’ve loved our time here so far and looking forward to him moving up through the rooms. The manager is very professional, warm and friendly too, she has excellent communication skills which has made everything go smoothly. I’m often jealous of the food on offer and really value that it’s homemade and nutritious.
This nursery is excellent. Our daughter absolutely loves it here. She has been going since she was 1 for over 6 months now and has learnt and developed so much in this time. Would highly recommend this nursery!
This nursery provides a warm and welcoming play setting for children. It is based in a converted farmhouse with a huge garden that even includes a little wooded area for children to explore. Not only are the facilities incredible for the children, but the staff are also dedicated to the well-being of the children, ensuring that their needs come first. For me, the best thing about this nursery was the support that they gave me as a parent. They were patient and readily available to answer all my questions and help me with any concerns that I had with my child.
I am not quite sure where to begin and I am unsure any words I choose will do justice for the amazing service we received from everybody in Tippy Toes. Our son's time at Tippy Toes is now coming to an end. From day one, as nervous parents dropping off our baby with what were effectively strangers, to these strangers becoming what feels like part of the family and a very important part of our son's life. We will be forever grateful to all of the staff in Tippy Toes for the good times, life lessons, education and generally for helping to raise our baby into the confident, friendly and intelligent young boy he is today. Thanks to Tippy Toes and its staff, he is now ready and excited for the next chapter of his life in Primary school (More so than his parents). Although looking forward to his new beginnings and ready for what is ahead of him, he also understands that as of September, he is no longer a member of Tippy Toes and this brings him great sadness. Wonderful place, Wonderful people!
Over 9 years, the wonderful team at Tippy Toes have cared for two of my children and now that they are moving up to big school, we are sad to say goodbye. I can honestly say it's been a privilege to have been able to be part of the Tippy Toes family and see my children thrive in such a wonderful setting. The house feels like a home which was an important factor for me when my children were babies. Focus is always on the child and there couldn't be more opportunity for them to explore, learn and experience new things. The manager and the team spend so much time and attention on developing each individual child needs and interests, constantly investing in new play and discovery equipment. The garden area is just the most magical and fun place. Communication with parents is excellent and the food provided is nutritious and has a really varied menu - has always been thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't rate this nursery any higher - it is truly a gem in our town.
TippyToes is an outstanding family. Set in an old farmhouse, the setting and rooms have been adapted to provide the best care, interactions and learning opportunities for all children. It sits within an amazing garden which includes a woodland walk area, playframes, water play, bug hotels and lots of other fun and interesting things for curious little minds. The last year or so has been bumpy at best with national restrictions due to CV-19 but TippyToes has been a centre of calm, consistency and normality for my son. Their procedures have been exemplary. My son started at TippyToes at around 8 months old and has just moved up into the final pre-school room (roaring lions) before starting school next year. He is confident, caring and kind thanks to the team there. They've also been a massive support to me, answering all my questions through the big milestones. It's a joy to see him happy to go to nursery every day.
Both of my children have attended TippyToes over the last seven years and it has been a home away from home for them. The lovely farmhouse setting is immediately welcoming and the improvements that have been made to this family-run business over the years, both in décor and services provided, is phenomenal. The staff are always happy and smiling as they genuinely enjoy spending time with the children, getting to know them and caring for them. The time and energy that is spent to educate the children in everyday living, growing their motor and social interaction skills through fun play is brilliant. The garden is out of this world, with everyday play equipment to woodland walks, bug hotels and 101 other inventive adventures for the children to explore. The food is of a high standard, varied and home-cooked on the premises. I literally cannot recommend this nursery, the management, staff, setting and facilities highly enough.
I fell in love with TT as I drove up. I love the atmosphere, it feels like home, not only the location/setting but also staff, it has a family feel. All staff really enjoy spending time and working with my girls, she is comfortable here. I like it's a family run business, this makes my visits very personal. It’s like being part of the family. I feel happy every day leaving my girls. I would not want them anywhere else. I love the different rooms, children can move around & do different things. They can independently use the toilet. Outside space is amazing, she really enjoys the gardening session, learning about plants and growing new things. New areas have been introduced; climbing frame, garden kitchen, playhouse, insect hotel. She has enjoyed yoga sessions. Home cooked meals are great. There is always someone to talk to if I have any concerns/queries. We will miss all the staff. You all are fantastic, she has grown up here and has become a fantastic, confident girl, that’s thanks to you all.
We currently have my son at Tippy Toes. I wouldn't place my children anywhere else. I actually moved out of the area over a year ago but still work nearby. I looked at other nurseries when I moved from a location to home perspective and no other nursery compared, things that stood out were, room sizes, activities, outdoor space, policies including administering medication, price, staffing, opening hours, the homely feeling you get when you walk in. In my opinion, there is no better nursery they could attend, the staff offer such a personalised approach to each individual child. They complete multiple different activities daily with all age groups. The handover that you receive at the end of your child's day is detailed and if you have any questions they will always be answered. Having had my son in all 4 of the rooms at Tippy Toes I can see how he has grown there. Parents evenings and the freedom to speak to the staff at any point make the communication between staff and parents easy.
The team at TippyToes are brilliant. Having a dedicated team to look after my son on a daily basis has allowed me to easily return to work, knowing my son is in safe hands. Being an adopted baby with a difficult start in life, he was always incredibly nervous around other people. He was terrified of noise and commotion, but within a month of care from the TippyToes team, he was like a different child. The team take a real interest in his favourite things each week and make a point of developing daily activities around this. They spend a huge amount of time in the gardens, which they have recently had a great new climbing frame built, (which my son loves). The food is freshly prepared on site every day. We are always kept up to date with what he has been eating, (with his current appetite, he is usually having two helpings of every meal).
