View Full Details of Fennies Epsom, Hook RoadBoth of my girls have been attending Fennies Epsom for over two years, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They absolutely love going to nursery and have formed such strong bonds with the incredible teachers. The care, support, and attention to their personal development have been outstanding - it's amazing to see how much they've grown. The entire team at Fennies goes above and beyond, creating a warm, nurturing environment where the girls truly thrive. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Fennies - you are simply the best!
Fennies Epsom is a great nursery for my son who has been attending for nearly 2 years. He has thrived at this nursery and is learning new things each day.
Our two girls have been at Fennies Epsom since 2020. Both girls have thrived there thanks to the amazing staff and team. Always willing to go above and beyond! The girls love garden time, pilates, trips out, water play and playing with lots of friends. The staff have been great, especially with potty training and getting my oldest ready for school
My daughter has now been at Fennies Epsom for almost 5 months and she has developed so much since being there. Deciding to send my daughter to nursery was a big decision to make but the support I have had from the nursery, from making my first enquiry and starting settling sessions to now, has been amazing. The team at Fennies Epsom are fantastic. They take such special care of each and every child at the nursery, developing lasting relationships whilst supporting their learning and development. My daughter loves her time at Fennies Epsom, making lots of new friends, learning new skills and taking part in all the fun activities. As a parent, I also feel cared for by the staff making me feel listened to and respected. The communication channels are really effective meaning that I can still feel a part of my daughter's day even when I am not with her and any queries I have are immediately responded to. Thank you to all the team at Fennies Epsom for everything you do, you're amazing!
All staff are very committed to ensuring the children have the best time and there is a good split between development and playing. Management listens to concerns and acts upon them where necessary. All around a good experience and would recommend it in the future.
We had one of the worst experiences a parent could have. We took my children out of this nursery after 3 months. The managers have an insufficient understanding about bruising in a toddler and a great inability to present a logical argument based on factual information. We were wrongly reported to Social Services on suspicion of abuse to our 17-month-old. This is because we could not explain (or had not seen) a bruise. They couldn’t explain it either and denied the possibility of occurring under their care, which is just a very dishonest standing. A medical examination was conducted over the period of 6 hours at A&E. This experience from the beginning to end caused a considerable amount of distress to our family. These events offered the perfect opportunity to review their processes. Eg. instead of pressing the high alarm bottom when a bruise is unexplained, record safeguarding concerns like they do in schools with CPOMs programs. There are better Early Years professionals elsewhere.
We send both our children to Fennies Nursery and they have been so happy there. One of the reasons we picked Fennies was because their menu includes a huge variety and foods from different cuisines. And we have not been disappointed. On top of that, all the staff that we've interacted with have been so kind and patient. You can truly feel their love and care for the children. As our elder child moved from baby to toddler to preschool room, he has made lasting relationships with the staff. Recently, there has been new management in the Epsom branch and personally, I found this change brought renewed energy and engagement with parents. They've introduced weekend activities, parent tea parties and special activities on Friday. We send our children full-time, so being able to feel involved in our children's development during the work week has given us more confidence that sending our kids to Fennies was the right choice. Thank you all for your hard work!
Our daughter's time at Fennies in Epsom has been amazing. Her caregivers and key people have been invaluable in her growth and have shown warmth and encouragement as she has embarked on her new little journey.
My child has been at Fennies Epsom for over 2 years full-time, it's a lovely nursery and the staff are so educated and down to earth. My child is excited to go to nursery every day because she has fun and learns at the same time. She is so happy there!
What a great nursery Fennies Epsom is. Such loving and supportive members of staff that always went above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and safe. Both my children will miss Fennies a lot and we are sad our journey here has come to an end.
My little one started in January at 8 months. The team were amazing with his settling in. They were so reassuring to both me and my son throughout the tough first few weeks. He absolutely loves it now and it's so lovely to see how social he is with the team. He eats like a king and from the photos, he is always doing something different. I am so happy with Fennies Epsom and how welcome we have been made to feel.
I am so happy with the workers in the baby room with my grandson always so polite and give really good feedback, the communication is excellent between the staff and me. They work hard to achieve the best for him and I really want to recommend them for an award. Thank you so much Baby Room for looking after my precious grandson and dealing with my questions. They have worked through hard times with Covid and all the way through they have been professional. Thank you for all your hard work.
Our daughter has been at Fennies in Epsom since she was 7 months old and it's honestly been such a positive experience. We have watched our daughter go from strength to strength and really thrive under their care. The staff are incredibly engaged and you get detailed feedback at the end of each day. Our daughter has formed very close relationships with her key workers and many of the other staff and it's a delight to see how comfortable she is in their presence.
My son has attended Fennies in Epsom for two and a half years and has been in all 3 rooms. During this time, I have been very impressed with all of the areas of care and the general management and environment of the nursery. Staff seem very happy, competent and caring, and management are very approachable. The level of learning and care, in general, is excellent and they have nearly gone above and beyond regarding the approach to covid 19. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will miss Fennies when he starts school.
My little one started in the baby class when she was 18months old, it was hard during Covid not being able to settle her in the new environment but after a week she was so excited to go to nursery, she has since moved to the next class up in January and settled so quickly, the teachers are lovely and she talks about them constantly. Even asking if she is going to nursery over the weekend. She has learnt and grown so much over the last few months.
I have mixed views on Fennies as in some ways they are great and in other ways, there are things that could be improved. I think that the girls could take more care of the clothes that we send our son in. A lot of outfits have been ruined by paint and colour pens and we have requested for him to wear a cover over his clothes when he paints. I have also pointed out that I don't think water play is appropriate during winter but my complaint was dismissed as water play is a part of their curriculum. I don't see how it can be. I agree water play is great during the summer months but not during the winter months. I also don't agree that there are days where the kids are only served vegetarian food. Kids need their meat and fish! I also don't like that the kids are taught French and Spanish especially to the children who are bilingual as this will just confuse them further and I speak of personal experience as I grew up in a home with three different languages.
I was so anxious to send my daughter to nursery in October after previously being looked after by family. However, I was immediately reassured by staff and management that despite the tears she would be just fine. They were very understanding and supportive and it was much appreciated. Very quickly I was at complete ease and I could tell that my daughter was so happy. She had built some beautiful and heart-warming relationships with her teachers and friends and that made me extremely happy. I would 100% recommend this nursery.
We have been absolutely delighted with the level of care our boys receive at Fennies Epsom. The staff are so kind, professional, caring and competent and we have seen our children thrive, develop and come on leaps and bounds. They always run in full of excitement and then at hometime they're full of stories about all they have done. We love the varied curriculum, the outdoor space, the knowledgeable and friendly staff and the 'home from home' feel. Thank you so much!
The team at Fennies Epsom are absolutely amazing. We've had our little boy go through Fennies Epsom before starting school and now our little girl is there. They have always gone above and beyond to care for our children, listening to what we need and helping our children develop. They have great facilities, toys, activities and a lovely garden area. Management are very responsive, supportive and have been flexible when we've needed extra dates. Both our children always come home having had fun and I know that they are cared for at Fennies Epsom. Couldn't recommend them more.
My niece loves going to nursery, sometimes I think she would rather be at nursery then with me. I love when my sister sends me photos of her day and every time I see her, she amazes me with her development. She can now recognise and start to spell out her name which is amazing. I would fully recommend this nursery.
