We had such a lovely experience with Les Petites Etoiles. Our little one joined when she was 18 months and blossomed so much during her time there, the teachers were an absolute delight to deal with. We decided to join after meeting the staff at an open day which tipped our decision over a nursery which is actually closer. Thank you Manager and team!

Our experience with Les Petites Etoiles was outstanding. The manager and her team's dedication to our daughter's well-being was evident every day, making it feel like a second home. We were genuinely sad to leave for reception! We chose Les Petites Etoiles for its unique bilingual and Montessori approach, and it was a decision we never regretted. Our daughter's French skills have flourished, and she has developed a keen interest in different languages. I would 100% recommend them.

We have been extremely pleased with our daughter's experience and development over the three years she spent at Les Petites Etoiles. The nursery provides a warm and supportive learning environment. Children are encouraged to solve problems independently, which builds a lot of confidence and leaves them truly prepared to enter Reception class. We highly recommend the nursery for the excellent teaching, the effective bilingual focus, the emphasis on autonomy, and the delicious organic meals prepared on-site.

We had two children enrolled at Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park until April 2024, when we moved abroad. Our eldest spent 15 months there having moved from another nursery nearby and our youngest was enrolled to LPE when he was seven months old and stayed for eight months in total. Put simply, we loved LPE and the staff at Tufnell Park. If we could, we would have taken the staff with us when we moved as our kids loved them. We especially liked that LPE encouraged independence in the children and watching them wanting to put their own shoes and socks on, for example, was amazing. The only caveat, and this is not to criticise LPE, concerns the wider cost challenges faced by childcare providers in the UK. In our relatively short time with LPE, the childcare fees increased a few times. On each occasion, this was quite reasonably linked to higher energy and food costs. However, we would have been unable to afford the next increase for both children and would most likely have had to go part-time.

Les Petites Etoiles has been a wonderful place for our child. The caring and attentive staff create a nurturing environment that is perfect for early childhood development. The bilingual approach is a fantastic way to introduce children to different languages and cultures. We have seen great progress in our child's social and cognitive development since he started attending Les Petites Etoiles.

Our daughter was a student in the bunny section (youngest kids) at Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park between November 2022 and the Summer of 2023. As we moved abroad, she left Les Petites Etoiles after a year there. Our daughter's experience was amazing from induction which went really well despite our daughter being only 9 months old to her overall experience (activities/teachers /other kids) - she absolutely loved her stay there. She particularly loved her teachers there who were all extremely nice and attentive to her development. They provide a lot of information on how things were going for our daughter at the nursery (what she liked/disliked) and she grew very fond of them. Her development during this relatively short period has been impressive and we could see that she was thriving there. She definitely had a great time there and we were nothing less than impressed and pleased by the quality of the work and experience with Les Petites Etoiles.

Our daughter was a student at Les Petites Etoiles in Tufnell Park for three years and I have nothing but positive things to say about her experience, and also ours as parents. We absolutely loved having our daughter there! A simple example of the feeling that the excellent staff there created was that our daughter was excited to go there every day and didn't want to leave in the evenings! There was a wonderful combination of making her feel challenged and at the same time making her feel comfortable. The perfect balance of play and pushing her. The teachers were attentive, caring and most importantly interested in education in the broadest sense. The children from our daughter's class were loving and respectful to each other. I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with the teachers and the overall experience we had. If I could give more than 5 stars then I would!

Our daughter spent two years at "Les petites étoiles", in the Penguin class and then in the Lion class (from 2 to 4 years). At first, she was expressing herself mainly in French, which is her mother tongue, but she became equally happy to communicate in both languages. She has become deeply attached to her teachers and made very good friends. She talks about them very frequently at home, even after leaving the nursery (due to age limit - we would have let her stay another year!). Our first observation is that she blossomed deeply at "Petites étoiles": she was delighted to go there every morning and brought back a thousand anecdotes as much related to the emotional as to the learning every evening. She told us about every dish of every day in the canteen with the same enthusiasm (even more so when she was picking the herbs herself in the courtyard of the nursery (basil, mint etc). The food looks excellent and the menu posted each week on the school door is undeniably pleasing.

Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park is one of the best nurseries in Tuffnel park/north London. Super well-organized and professional. They cared for our son and provided all the extra support he needed to socialize or develop his language. We felt supported and our son was always cared for and provided all the attention. We highly recommend it. It was wonderful to see our son flourish there. Thank you!

Les Petites Etoiles is excellent - our daughter improved her French quickly in this warm, supportive environment. There are long-standing staff who work very well together and offer excellent care. They also prepare children exceptionally well for both the English and French systems, and our daughter was far ahead with basic skills (holding a pen etc) when starting school. Cannot recommend it enough.

Our daughter spent the last 3 years at Les Petites Etoiles since the age of 15 months. The teachers and the methodology of teaching at Les Petites Etoiles have given our daughter the best environment and guidance to become a happy, confident, active and fearless child. The wonderful thing is that all of her friends at Les Petites Etoiles are the same and this is the result of the good education at Les Petites Etoiles. We cannot say thank you enough.

Best nursery in Islington without a doubt! My daughter spent three fantastic years there. The environment is calm, it's inspiring children to discover more of the world in their own time. The focus is not just on the traditional numeracy/literacy skills, but on ensuring children are well-rounded individuals on social and emotional levels too. The team supports the children's own development, not forcing activities on them, going with the child's lead and helping them to make the most of their days. I could not be more thankful to the wonderful team looking after my daughter. I would highly recommend to everyone.

Both our sons went to Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park, and we have always been so happy with this nursery. The stuff is truly caring, engaged and professional. There is plenty of thoughtfully prepared interesting activities that encourage early learning. And even more importantly, we felt that our boys have got excellent support and guidance to help their emotional development and first social skills. There is a good amount of feedback to parents, including regular reports with pictures, and prompt responses to any questions or requests. Finally, freshly prepared meals were simply outstanding in quality and diversity. We’ll never forget our wonderful time at Les Petites Etoiles and can’t recommend them highly enough!

We were incredibly pleased with Les Petites Etoiles. The nursery was very professional, well organised, caring and reliable. Our daughter learned French in less than a year, improved her English significantly and came back home happy every day. The food was also great and healthy. I would recommend Les Petites Etoiles without hesitation.

All three of our children went to Les Petites Etoiles and although we travelled from Southgate for over 7 years we have no regrets. The children were loved and started reception confident, incredibly ready and equipped for school. The staff are amazing and the activities, shows, forest trips etc just gave the kids such a rich experience. Thank you to everyone for caring, nurturing and supporting our children. Both my boys have attended Les Petites Etoiles in Tufnell Park at different times over the past 7 years, leaving Les Petites Etoiles for the last time this summer felt like saying goodbye to family. There are so many things that I have loved and appreciated about the way they do things, the food is unbelievable (four-course lunches!!), the spaces are light and full of pictures, the structure of the day is always well thought out. However the team have been the best part of the whole experience. The boys have adored their key people, and both having the same person in their final years was just brilliant, she has set them up beautifully to start school and I cannot thank her and the team enough.

Our two sons attended Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park. We had so many good times there that saying goodbye was heartbreaking. We loved the fact that the nursery evolves with time to be better and better. In Bunnies room, the bond between kids is very strong and it helps them to be very confident when growing. Our children learnt to be independent in self-care. They enjoyed forest school a lot and growing their own fruits and vegetables. There are many events at the nursery: puppet show, farm pet, living eggs, butterflies. Our sons were big fans of the autonomous activities. They learnt independently by repeating the same activity again and again and by trying more challenging ones when they felt ready. Teachers knew the children very well and they adapted their learning to our sons' interests, characters and abilities. We also had regular reports thanks to an app, but we preferred the learning journey book from French class. It was also easy to speak with the team when we wanted advice or had concerns.

Our three bilingual daughters went to Les Petites Etoiles from bunnies room right through to lions and giraffes, before going off to reception, and we can honestly say they have all been extremely happy throughout their time at the nursery. The staff form a close and dynamic team of caring, friendly, professional, energetic and creative teachers who connect brilliantly with the children as well as with the parents. The management team are responsive and communicative, often present to meet and support families, and have always been happy to help with any requests or questions. There is a good level of feedback provided by the staff on the children's daily activities as well as their overall development. Our girls' French language development was fantastic and we loved the fun ways the team ensure French traditions are celebrated. We also love the garden space and the creative way it is used for learning and fun. We are very pleased we chose Les Petites Etoiles!

Both our children went to Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park and had a truly amazing time. The staff are delightful and very caring. The facilities are excellent, with a great outdoor play area. The bilingual approach to education was very beneficial and both kids left the school with excellent spoken language skills. We couldn’t recommend Les Petites Etoiles Tufnell Park more highly.

Our daughter spent three great years at the nursery, she joined as a Penguin when she was two and left at 4-year- old as a Giraffe, then off to the reception in September 2020. We have always been happy with the service provided by the nursery. They give good care to the kids, doing lots of activities, helping them to grow with self-confidence and learning to behave and interact with others. We liked the curriculum provided in French and English. Our daughter loved every single day she spent at the nursery, and she's asking us to go back to see the staff. Worth noting with this Covid19 strange time, that the nursery made the environment safe for the children to go back full-time as soon as it was permitted.
