View Full Details of Little Elms Daycare Nursery GreenwichWe've been incredibly impressed with the experience our 3.5-year-old son has had at Little Elms Daycare Nursery Greenwich. He has become noticeably more confident, which has been such a joy to see. One thing we love is the weekend activities they suggest for families. These have been a fantastic way for us to bond while continuing his learning at home. He also gets hands on with baking pies and cakes, and it's so delightful to hear him list the ingredients of the recipes they've made together. His fine motor skills, he has an excellent pen hold and creates beautiful paintings. His language skills have also grown, he now speaks in full sentences and communicates his thoughts clearly. As a naturally curious child, the science experiments they do with him are a perfect fit. They encourage his inquisitive nature and keep his interest in learning alive. Overall, Little Elms has been a nurturing, engaging and inspiring place for our son and we're grateful for the positive impact it has had on his development.
The nursery is very attentive, with wonderful caregivers and dedicated key persons. My child is developing very well there, and the food they offer seems very tasty. I also appreciate the regular activities such as parents' evenings, egg hatching, ceramics classes, and more. I'm happy to bring my daughter here, knowing she is happy and in a stimulating environment with plenty of messy play opportunities.
Very good quality service and staff care about the wellbeing of the child. Constant communication to advise on important matters. Nice facilities and good use of technology to keep parents informed through an app. Outdoor activities for children.
Friendly and caring staff. Our son has been well looked after since day one. They encourage kids' autonomy and encourage free play. The flexibility of the nursery is also a plus for us. Our little boy is happy to go to nursery and arrive home with a smile on his face.
The staff have helped my daughter settle into her new rooms so well, it’s adorable. The bond she has with her key person is one that is unmatched! The nursery have helped her effectively when it comes to her potty training as well! Since the new manager has come in, the nursery has come leaps and bounds.
My son has the best time at Little Elms Greenwich. He is supported by all of the lovely, caring staff. He has had some physical challenges. The staff have gone over and above for him and with their support he is now a walker. Most days he does not want to leave the Robin class as he is enjoying himself so much. They are extremely accommodating when I need to put him in for extra days. Overall a brilliant nursery.
My daughter has been attending Little Elms Greenwich since she was 8 months old and has had a great experience throughout her time there so far. She is now 2 years old and has progressed so well with her development. The staff in her current room are amazing, they make her feel so comfortable at nursery and are so supportive with anything I try to work on with her, for example, potty training.
Excellent nursery! Have been so good with my son who has settled recently. They were so calm and comforting to him when he was upset and had lots of activities set up ready to play. The staff in Bluebells were very welcoming and attentive! My daughter also attended here when she was a baby, so we knew we were getting good care! Would recommend this nursery to everyone!
Our son has been attending this nursery since January 2024. Firstly they were super accommodating to our need for one day per week to start with which was really helpful. The staff are fantastic, the welcome every morning is always bright, smiley, happy and welcoming. The room staff are always on hand and provide excellent feedback at the end of every day. The facilities are fantastic, our son always seems to learn something new every week, they have a small outdoor private garden and take the children on walks locally, the rooms are good sizes and well split and the play and learning options seem fantastic. Staff 10/10 Location 10/10 Facilities 10/10 Fees are very competitive 10/10 Food 10/10 Overall for us personally 10/10
Our daughter started in Little Elms Greenwich in September 2023. The staff have supported our little girl since the start. She is very happy to attend nursery and it is obvious that she likes the staff and other children in her room. The daily updates they provide are very useful. The rooms are very nice and have plenty of natural light. They also have a small garden that kids enjoy and also go out around the Greenwich area which is very nice. The food menu is very healthy and most of the food is made from scratch in their own kitchen and they have been able to accommodate dietary requirements. Communication with parents is very good and management always has very nice initiatives for the kids.
The staff at Little Elms Greenwich are lovely, always friendly, kind and our 2 toddlers love them. The management team is always helpful and attentive. We had one child with dietary issues and they accommodated for his needs, constantly checking with us on his progress and providing support and advice. Our children have developed amazing skills, and we can see progress every day in their physical and cognitive skills. The garden is relatively small but the setting is great, with different activities for every child. I couldn't recommend it enough!
Our experience at Little Elms Greenwich has been fantastic so far our little girl Has really settled into Nursery life very well and this is thanks to the staff in her room. All staff members are very friendly and welcoming as well. This Nursery is exactly what myself and my partner were looking for and we also like the fact of all children within the setting go on little local walk’s around the river front and you get daily updates and observations of how your child has been throughout the day as well as what they are achieving in their development through the app. as well as when you collect your child, My child is very happy at this setting so far and she shows a keen interest in going to Nursery all the time even when she’s not at Nursery. I would highly recommend little Elms Greenwich.
We are so happy we found Little Elms, our baby absolute loves it there. The staff members are lovely, the premises are always clean and have great selection of age appropriate toys available. The parents are kept on the loop on the app throughout the day which is very useful so we know what our baby was doing, eating etc.
My daughter has been attending for six weeks now. I am very happy to see her playing and enjoying her time with staff and other children. I like the frequent updates I receive through the app and have a good idea of her day. I feel staff are very caring and responsible, especially when she was ill and had a temperature. She seems very happy and enjoys the food served.
Little Elm nursery (Greenwich) is a great local community centred nursery, our baby loves it, she is having her time every day. She loved the vibe, and the staff are very nice to her. The great thing about Little Elm nursery is that it's really close to my place, I will recommend whoever is leaving in the same community and is looking for a nursery for your little one.
Nursery is a critical step in a child's development however I moved my child away from this nursery for the following reasons: 1. Children left crying and not comforted. 2. Poor communication with management. 3. Behaviour issues of other children were not addressed. 4. Junior staff are overworked and exhausted. Overall, the environment was too busy and authoritative to provide the pastoral care my child deserved for the price charged.
My son joined Little Elms around Jan-22. We went on holiday for all of Nov-22 so had to de-register and rejoin again in Dec-22. The room manager provided us with the re-settling in sessions but the nursery manager failed to deliver the details to us and that was disappointing. We asked the manager for extra sessions for December (no show on the app, no email response). I asked her in person twice she said she was busy and it was not ready yet. Sometimes I booked for extra sessions as they showed as “available” on the distributed list. However when I called to check why no response or confirmation from my booking the manager said it was not booked because the staff are taking holiday. I don’t understand if they showed on the system was available or did not respond to me. The manager is unprofessional which I assume is a reason for the high staff turnover.
My son has attended the nursery since he was 7 months old. He settled in very well with the help of the friendly team in the baby room. They were always calm and reassuring whenever he got upset during drop-offs and gave detailed feedback upon collection. He is currently in the toddler room and is now 25 months old. He loves coming to nursery and doesn't stop talking about the team in his room whilst at home. It's clear that he's had a great day by the way I need to persuade him to leave the setting!
We strongly advise everybody to stay away from this nursery. There is no way to come in direct contact with management, so whenever you feel an issue needs to be discussed, your location manager will forward an email to head office and he/she will copy something back. You do not receive a notice that your email has been received and a reply takes 1-week minimum. You can never contact the head office or senior management directly and are refused communication. We informed the nursery about our international move as soon as the nursery reopened after it furloughed all staff. Since the nursery has not requested any updated contact information or has not provided us with a number to contact head office ourselves we are now unable to contact the nursery about the refused refund of our deposit. Greenwich has many great nurseries. We would strongly suggest considering any alternative to Little Elms.
My daughter attended the nursery for about 3 years and now my son is currently there. We’ve known the staff for a long time and can say that overall, we are happy with everything. So much so, that our very first nanny was a teacher from there and currently, we use another nursery teacher as a babysitter. I would recommend this nursery to anyone I meet that’s looking for one. The staff are very friendly and the manager is the stalwart of the team. The teachers are attentive to the children and Even though my daughter has left now, she enjoys going back to say hello.
