Really lovely nursery, where my son has continued to show growth in his development. Through songs and activities, the staff are great at making learning fun. These have been great building blocks for building my sons confidence, whether it be through circle time and talking about their weekends (social interaction), numbers and phonics (education) or garden time to free play. My son has made some lovely friends and has a lovely key worker whom he adores. Staff always friendly, professional and accommodate where they can. Had a really good experience here and would recommend.

I moved my daughter to Kindred Girton after she failed to settle with a childminder and us being unhappy with the lack of communication and empathy towards a 2 year old struggling to separate from their parents. Despite still struggling with emotional drop offs at times, we've been absolutely thrilled with how fantastic the staff have been at reassuring us and showing empathy towards our daughter when she is feeling upset. Communication is strong and regular photo updates shared via the app are a lovely way to see how settled our daughter in during the day. The management are proactive and supportive and always happy to have a chat. It's incredible how well my daughter has settled despite only going for 1.5 days a week and I can't recommend them enough.

We would highly recommend Girton Kindred! Our little girl has been there since she was one. The people are everything we could have asked for. There's a very low turnover of staff and the wonderful managers and room leaders go above and beyond. Our daughter is now two, she goes three days a week and she looks forward to seeing the staff every week. She natters on about the room leaders all week! She was a very clingy baby who wouldn't let others hold her, so it could have gone either way, but she's never looked back. The staff are accommodating of different family routines, cook delicious food for the children on site and are a wonderful group of genuine people. We feel we couldn't have found a more flexible, down to earth nursery.

A brilliant nursery! We are so happy that we chose Kindred. The staff and management are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They care about everything they do with the children's happiness and overall well-being as number one priority. My child has come on so well with their education, skills and confidence since starting at Kindred and that is testament to the team. They love the food, playtime and have made many friends. Kindred is also great value for money which we are so thankful for. We look forward to their sibling joining soon too. Thank you for everything you do.

I cannot recommend Kindred Girton highly enough! Our daughter came through here from 2017-2020 and because of how happy we were when she attended, we booked a place for our son who has been here since 2021 and is now in the preschool room. All of the staff are so caring, engaging and supportive and our son absolutely loves his nursery days! The facilities are wonderful (with amazing outdoor spaces), the food is very much enjoyed, and we truly feel our son is receiving the best care, whilst also having so much fun!

We chose this nursery originally because of the great outdoor space which is easily accessible, even from the baby room. Facilities are clean and modern and accessible. Having been at the nursery for four months, our little one loves it. The staff care so much for him. The member of staff who runs the baby room is super. As is the deputy manager who always takes extra care to get to know parents and their children.

True caring and nurturing environment. This nursery strives to work collaboratively with the families in a flexible and understanding manner. The atmosphere is friendly and the nursery even organises events to allow parents to meet. I really like their open-door policy and both my children are truly well cared for and happy. Staff are experienced and I note high levels of retention within the staff. I have no doubts my children are in good hands. I moved my children to this nursery after a not positive experience with one of the outstanding nurseries and truly regret not having done this earlier. Kindred Girton Day Nursery & Pre-school is definitely outstanding.

My Son after 3 years is now just several months away from starting school. The team at Kindred Girton have been fundamental in helping his development and understanding of what's required. My son has developed in confidence and cognitively due to the way he has been nurtured. We owe them a big thank you. The overall opinion is I am very thankful my son is there.

I can't speak highly enough of this nursery. I have two children here and can honestly say that I believe they are getting the best possible care and support possible. The team are incredibly well managed and all show genuine affection to our children. They work so hard to create a nurturing, but also fun environment and it really does feel like a home from home. The facilities are excellent - clean, safe and well equipped. The nursery was recommended to me and I have no reservations about recommending it to others.

Girton Kindred Nursery has been a godsend for us as working parents, it’s a tough decision to make. Our boy started part time at the age of 7 months and quickly worked up to full time, this was because we felt so comfortable with all the staff who made our happy little boy even happier. They say it takes a village to raise a child and, right now, the Girton Kindred Nursery is our village and we are so very grateful. I love the fact that we drop him off and he runs with glee to the practitioners, but at the end of the day greets us with so much love when we pick him up. He is truly thriving and we cannot be more grateful. The acting manager has particularly helped us through tough situations, being very accommodating if we need to book extra days. I would like to thank so many people including his key worker, the acting manager, who still is such a part of his life despite moving up a room, and so so many more - you know who you are! Highly recommend!

I have two daughters at the nursery and I wanted to write and say what a wonderful job everyone at Kindred does to care for them. Based on my experience of the last year and a bit, I would wholeheartedly recommend the setting. My eldest daughter has just moved into preschool, she is always excited to go in to see her friends and the adults. She is exposed to lots of different activities and plenty of outdoor time, as well as experiencing brilliant and varied food. I always get a friendly handover and have nothing but positive feedback for the team, everyone works so hard. My youngest started when she was under one and has been cared for excellently. The nursery swiftly got to know her really well and she too reaches out to her adults at drop off and this is thanks to the dedication of the team. We have had a brilliant experience here and are very grateful to Kindred for caring for our girls.

When my son started in the nursery he was 5 months old. I asked my husband, do you think they will love him? He responded: No, but they will look after him. 6 months later I can say the ladies in the nursery loved him! They taught him amazing things and showed great affection to him. He would always be happy when I would pick him up from his room. We all cried when we had to move my little boy to a nursery closer to our home and work so we can spend more time with him. I would like to say a great thank you to the whole team! Amazing nursery with amazing staff and well-organised, age-appropriate learning activities!

I cannot speak highly enough about Kindred Girton. The whole team are so welcoming in the morning, keeps me updated on my child's day and nothing is ever too much for them. The activities planned are perfect for my son's interest and development, they are also so much fun! He always comes home happy. Thank you so much to all at Kindred Girton!

My review relates to the nursery for the whole period from 2019 till now April 2022. I can gladly share that my son and I have an amazing experience with the nursery and the staff. My son has been looked after by four members of staff in particular, as well as others. He has very quickly established a very good bond with these staff members. They are very sensitive to every kid there and have a personal approach. They can easily identify the children's needs, not only physical needs but emotional too, which helps our most precious creatures to have quality time spent in the nursery and feel supported, safe and happy. I really like that they allow my son to have naps still, even though this is not expected anymore for his age group. I highly recommend the nursery for its amazing atmosphere, trained and sensitive staff and the culture and spirit that they have. I absolutely see and can sense with my whole heart that the staff there absolutely love what they do and they genuinely enjoy interacting with our children.

This is a lovely nursery with staff who care about every child and their individual needs. They take the initiative each week to develop new and creative activities. There is an excellent outdoor space which the nursery teachers make the most of. For example, there have been some great initiatives recently teaching the children how to plant seeds and put out food for the birds. Thank you, Kindred Girton!

I absolutely love this nursery. The staff are amazing and it is just so child friendly. Both of my children attend here and I am so grateful we got a space! Every room has seen my child develop new skills and I really feel like staff know my child when they are giving feedback. It is invaluable to leave your child knowing that they will have fun and be well cared for. Thank you all so much!

The staff are excellent and my children are very happy! The staff show interest in my children and I feel confident leaving my little ones in their care. They seem experienced and confident in their roles and this is very reassuring for me as a parent. The staff are always friendly, professional, empathetic and show kindness to my children. My little ones are always smiling at drop off and pick up and this is everything for us! Thank you.

Absolutely outstanding staff! They understood both my kids and managed to encourage and challenge them according to their needs. Every day they seem to do something new and exciting with the kids be it construction, set up a play or crafts.

All in all we are very happy with how our daughter has been treated at Kindred Girton. She enjoys her time there and comes home keen to show us any new skills she has learnt that day. The children of Buttercup room always seem friendly and happy whenever I come in to pick up our daughter which I am sure speaks volumes. However, one area for improvement is reporting. It would be good if staff could use the functionality of the new app to report to parents on all the basics (eating, drinking, sleeping and any issues etc) rather than parents having to draw it out of the staff at pickup.
