Partou Acorns in Adel is an absolutely amazing nursery. It feels like part of the family for us as our eldest (now 7) went and now our 2yr old is there. The staff are all absolutely brilliant, nothing is ever to much and the experience and activities they do are fantastic! Highly recommend this nursery and thank you to all the team for everything we are always so grateful! If I was to suggest anything it would be for the menu to be available as a 'doggy bag' for us to have for tea also! Haha!

My child is absolutely thriving at this nursery. They take the time to work with each child to enhance their experience and learning. The staff are amazing and really care about each child. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our child.

We can't recommend Acorns highly enough! A fantastic team of staff and excellent nursery. We have watched our daughter grow in confidence and grow to love the wonderful team, they are a second family to her. We have enrolled our son to begin later in the year at Acorns, and we hope to have the same brilliant experience in the future.

My daughter started at acorns in January at just 5 months old, so you can understand my worries, however the staff have all gone above and beyond in making her and myself feel extremely welcome! The bonds my daughter has made, especially with her key worker, are incredible and she is truly happy and content to be left in their care. In the few months since she has started, I have clearly seen so much development in her both socially and physically, which is down to the caring and encouraging nature of the staff! Thank you acorns.

We have been over the moon with Partou Acorns in Adel Day Nursery & Pre-school for our daughter. She has been there from baby room through to leaving for primary school. Every room has been brilliant, the staff have always gone above and beyond to nurture, care and individualise the support for our child. Our child was given glasses and the staff then made a mini opticians for all the children to normalise wearing glasses and understand more about eye tests etc. it was such a lovely touch and helped our child adjust to wearing them. The staff are all very kind and caring, my child loves going in and always wants to tell her key workers what she's been doing outside of nursery as they've formed a lovely bond all the way through. The food is varied, healthy and freshly made on site. My child has tried lots of new foods which she would never attempt at home! The staff have always helped with each transition such as new siblings etc. and have been so supportive to us as parents as well as to our child. 100% recommend!

Our little boy recently finished at Acorns having started school this September. We feel he was really well prepared for school by the team there and even though none of his chums were going to the same school as him, the team there had helped his confidence grow so he settled in really quickly to school. He often says how much he misses pre-school and all the teams there, especially 6 members of staff in particular. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy, helping him learn and grow into the kind young chap he is now.

Our daughter settled into Acorns very quickly and is always very happy to go to nursery. She loves all the staff and they have been amazing with her. We are kept up to date with the app during the day.

Acorns have been fantastic with my children, forming lovely bonds with them and caring for them so well. The staff are creative and I am amazed at the variety of activities they come up with. They theme activities where possible to maximise learning such as celebrating different religious holidays, sport-based activities to coincide with e.g. Olympics/Euros, geography-based games particularly if a child has a tie with another country, activities based around well-known books. They give the children a varied and healthy diet and both of mine have loved the food. The Tweenies room is particularly good at getting the children outdoors as much as possible, and children from pre-school love their woodland area. There is a lovely vibe around the nursery, and it is a safe and nurturing environment for children. My children have left with lovely friends, enhanced social skills and are more than ready to progress into school life having been given a fantastic foundation by the staff at Acorns.

The baby room has been fantastic with my son since he started last year. They are welcoming, and friendly and my son is really happy there. I get informative updates each day from staff who know him well and have formed good relationships with him. His keyworker is amazing and works hard to ensure he is happy at nursery. Staff provide learning opportunities through resources they know the children like which ensures they are engaging and enjoyable. 10/10 for Acorns-in-Adel.

Our daughter started in the babies room in September 2023, she has settled in really well and we have noticed such a huge leap in her development. She has such a lovely bond with her key worker and all the other staff in the room - they are brilliant and very personable. They offer such a wide range of activities throughout the day to keep the children entertained. Our daughter eats such a wide variety (and amount) of food whilst she is at nursery along with being taught how to use her cutlery properly. She loves going to nursery in a morning and always has great days. We cannot praise the staff at Acorns enough for their brilliant care of our daughter.

Our son has settled extremely well into the Tweenies room! He has developed such a strong relationship with his key worker and she has taken so much time to get to know him. He absolutely loves going in to nursery! The provision is amazing and so much of the learning is tailored specifically to children’s individual learning. Would highly recommend!

I cannot praise the staff at Acorns-in-Adel enough, my 4-year-old is nearly ready to leave for school in September and the staff have taught him so much and prepared him so well. He absolutely loves coming into nursery and this is the best feeling as a parent. My 1-year-old settled in almost instantly and has made positive bonds with all the baby room staff. Cannot thank the team enough! They are amazing.

Our baby has attended Acorns in Adel since September, he joined nursery when he was 8 months old. Originally, I was worried this may be too early but it was the best thing for him. He is coming on each week and seems like a confident baby. The staff are fantastic, they really care for our baby (and all the children). There's a great atmosphere at the nursery and they encourage the babies to learn through play. They encourage him to eat different food and it's great they do messy play. We have noticed our baby seems to try more things after returning from nursery such as crawling, standing up, walking etc, it's a good opportunity for him to learn from the older children. The information we receive at pick up shows they are attentive to our baby and the parents evening are a great opportunity for us to ask questions. Our baby's face lit up when he saw his key worker at parents evening.

Great nursery - have two kids there and they do a great job of looking after them. Caring staff and kids like going there so no arguments in the mornings. Thank you to Acorns in Adel for helping look after my children.

Absolutely fabulous nursery. My son has settled in really well. He gets on with his key worker amazingly. He normally struggles getting used to different people but he has settled in really well with everyone. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

Both of my children attend Acorns and have done since they were around 12/13 months old. They both love it and we are so happy with the care they receive. The staff really engage with the kids and know them all by name. We could not recommend them enough!

Wonderful, caring and consistent staff. I leave my son in the morning knowing he is in the best hands possible. He was previously at another nursery but after experiencing issues with their level of care and other matters, I chose to move him to Acorns and never looked back! I really can't thank all the lovely ladies in Tweenies enough for all they do to provide such a lovely safe environment for my son.

My daughter has been attending Acorns for 3 years now and has moved through all the 3 separate rooms from baby's up to pre-school. The staff in each room are really friendly. I have always been very happy with the care Acorns staff provide and nothing seems too much! I like the layout of the nursery and they have plenty of facilities including the separate outdoor spaces. The food menu is always very good and often my little girl will try meals she would not try at home. Me and my daughter really enjoy taking part in all holiday celebrations that Acorns put on for the children. I would highly recommend Acorns and will be sad when my daughter starts school in September, hopefully in the future if she has any siblings they can attend Acorns too.

I moved my child from here in the summer as she was very reluctant to go in and didn't seem to have a good relationship with the staff. I noticed that the toys were often cleared away leaving the children access to only a small section of the room despite there being nearly an hour left before it closed. She settled very quickly into a different nursery and was very clear she didn't want to go back to Acorns. The communication was very poor, we were rarely informed if there was sickness and a few times it was a sign on the door. I compare this to her new nursery where an email is sent to all parents. She was rarely sent home with any artwork. The outside space is very small with only a small section of shade which the children are cramped into.
