View Full Details of Magic Years Day NurseryBoth my daughter and son went to Magic Years Nursery and they loved the nursery. The key persons always kept us informed about the day-to-day activities through the app journal. My children loved the settings of the nursery and we found the manager and deputy very helpful throughout our time time.
Disappointed at best. Our child was neglected all day. When we picked her up I noticed that her nappy was still in the same nappy she had since 9 am, and it was filled with urine and poo she did since morning. It was so bad our child developed painful sores and rash in her private area because they had not bothered to check or change her nappy since morning. She cried all night and she could not sleep because the pain was so bad which also kept me up all night. When I reported it the manager said all she could do was apologise and that was that.
It’s an excellent nursery. Management and staff are very supportive and kind. My daughter has a great time learning new things every day and making some wonderful friends. We receive our daughter’s progress daily via the app. We would highly recommend it.
I only have words of praise for the nursery, I am satisfied with the development of my little girl and the smile she has when she goes to the nursery, the staff is friendly and pays attention to each individual child, I recommend and appreciate everything they do for my child
The staff and teachers are awesome and very lovely. My son has learned so much from them in the time that he's been at Magic Years Day Nursery, and when he brings home what he's learned there, I get ecstatic. My little one loved it at the nursery and made lots of friends.
My daughter has attended from 18 months. She is three now and still attending Magic Years Day Nursery. She is very happy to go. Staff are nice and polite. The manager is quite flexible and can help with changing days or other things. No issues in 18 months.
Great nursery, good service. My son started magic years nursery when he was 10-months-old now he is 4-years-old. We have moved house twice and I have not found a place that suited him as well as Magic Years Day Nursery, its the place for children, I'm very happy with them.
My son has been going to Magic Nursery for the past 2 and half months and I have seen a great change in him. The staff are lovely, caring and also very supportive. They are always keeping me up to date and also the nursery feels very homie.
I have had two of my children attend this nursery and can vouch on their behalf that they have really overcome great lengths. I feel content and happy to have been through the transition because they have a great hardworking team and a lovely manager who is understanding and has dramatically changed the nursery. My son really enjoys going to the nursery and I am always regularly updated on my childs wellbeing and development. The nursery is doing fantastic work, they have a good friendly team and I am a happy and satisfied mummy.
The Nursery was rated inadequate by Ofsted in September, However, there have been some good changes in the nursery. They seem to have changed the Manager and most of the staff are new. Our child is happy and enjoys his time in the nursery. One can see the difference in the environment of the nursery as you walk in as our child has been here since he turned 3 so we have seen much change. It’s much calmer and everyone seems to be more involved. There are more activities and children seem engaged. The staff has always been very friendly and the new manager is very helpful and kind. I would recommend trying this place!
The manager and staff consist of amateur and they do not have the technical know-how of child care at all. The owner might end up folding up the setting if care is not taken. I regret ever taking my child there in the first place. This setting is definitely a NO NO.
My daughter was always bored, unstimulated and unhappy here. The recent Ofsted report rates this nursery 'inadequate' and confirms this - a lot of children walk around aimlessly and are not engaged. I tried to raise issues with the manager but was told if you don't like it, take your child out - which I did. If you are thinking of putting your child here, I would strongly advise to read the recent Ofsted report first.
