We absolutely love Spring Ceders. Staff are kind, patient and compassionate. Fun activities, outdoor and messy play and great communication from staff. Whenever our daughter has been unwell, it is taken very seriously. Staff celebrate achievements and make special occasions. We have no complaints at all. Thank you for creating a fun, safe place for our little ones.

My two children attend Spring Cedars and they love it there. The staff are always welcoming and friendly when we arrive and collect our children. They have always dealt with any issues in a timely a satisfactory manner. The recent price increase does make the nursery a little expensive compared to other ones in the area, but as my children love it I have stayed with the the setting. My only criticism is that I would prefer if there was more of a focus on education, as I don’t feel one of my children is learning as much as they should, such as counting and alphabet. I love that the setting uses an app so I can see updates throughout the day. However, it would be nice to get your child’s reviews in paper form so you can keep them. The use of daycare SOS does not work for me, I usually have issues booking my children extra spaces and am unable to make any payments on the app. I would highly recommend the setting to any other parents who are looking for a nursery.

What amazing staff they have at Spring Cedars! My 3-year-old comes home singing and teaching me new songs that I'd never even heard of! She has grown in confidence too, what a chatterbox she has become at home. They also have a wonderful outdoor area, which is where my daughter spends most of her time, so I hear! I have to thank the wonderful staff for the way they care for all the children who attend this nursery. Highly recommend!

We are so happy with how quickly our son settled. He eats and naps very well, which shows how comfortable and happy he is. We get detailed feedback about his day and are very pleased with how up-to-date the app is. We love hearing about his day and seeing photos showing the range of fun activities all the children get to experience. We would recommend cedars nursery, and we want to say a big thank you to all the lovely staff for everything they do!

Our son has seemed to settle in very well to nursery and always seems pleased to see whoever takes him in the morning, which is always nice. It’s been lovely to be able to come into the nursery at home time now and have a glimpse at some of the things he’s been up to.

Spring Nursey Cedars is a great place. My son has loved every minute of it. They have also been a great help to our family over the past two years. Amazing staff and wonderful communication from all staff. Highly recommended.

Both my children have been to Spring nurseries in Exeter, so we have been with them for around six years! Throughout this time, they have been outstanding. The staff are so friendly, and the site and its garden is just perfect for my little ones. I have been able to drop them off and go to work and not worry about them at all. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is thinking about putting their child in a nursery/preschool. Spring also have an online/app service where they update what your child has eaten throughout the day, as well as nappy changes/trips to the toilet and if suncream has been applied. Having this access to the app, with it being updated throughout the day, really puts your mind at ease.

The staff at the nursery are absolutely amazing! Our little one has settled in so well, and he loves going to nursery! The food is great; they are spoilt for choice on the menu! Since the new manager has taken over, the nursery is 100 times better, and the new manager has made such a massive positive change. We are now very happy with the nursery. Thank you!

Fantastic nursery. Really care about the children. My son has developmental delays and absolutely loves it here and has thrived since starting; they’ve even managed to get him eating things he’s never tried at home! Thank you, Spring Nursery Cedars.

I have sent both my children here and have had at least one child in the setting for almost six years. The staff are always welcoming and caring and take an interest in the children. The setting itself has a wonderful and very large outside space, and the set-up indoors encourages children to be creative and engage in imaginative play. The children are also taken out to explore their local environment, with trips to the park etc. The nursery adopts learning through play, rather than a more formal environment that can be found at some nurseries, and I think this is very welcome for young children. The dedicated chef cooks excellent meals, and the children are fed multiple times a day. The app used keeps parents up to date with what their child has eaten, nappy changes etc, as well as with what the children have been doing in the week. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the nursery to parents.

Very good nursery. All the staff are great and easy to talk to. The setting itself is amazing, and the garden is huge - very lucky nursery to have such amazing grounds. Lovely home-cooked nutritious meals are great for the children, and my daughter loves the food.

The staff in Spring Nursery are fantastic! I have sent both my children to the nursery. My son (now 4) flourished there and went on to be a confident boy when starting school. When I had my daughter there was no hesitation that she would attend too. The staff are very caring and I feel very confident in them. The garden is also a huge plus at Spring and they also do lots of trips within the local community - A wonderful place for young children!

My little boy's experience with this nursery has been amazing. He settled in fine from day one. Also has had no problems either, he loves it so much and he asks to go every day.

All staff are really lovely here. My son loves it at nursery. He comes home and tells me all the tasty food he has eaten. Don't think there is anything negative to say. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We like that fact we can use the app to see what our little one is doing, eating and nap times. It's great that we also get updates and observations from various staff members, so we can see the personal, social, emotional development and other skills they are learning. Nursery to us is like an extended family as our little one is making new friends and experiences. Well done staff!

Excellent nursery, in a great, quiet location with an amazing garden and outdoor space. Staff form great connections with the children and report on the progress via the Famly app. One point to improve could be to provide more information on what activities and learning that they do.

I was very nervous about my son starting nursery as he's only ever been with me but after the first week of him attending I had no doubt he would be fine and he comes out smiling every time. Friendly, welcoming and all-round great nursery.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my 14-month-old baby. I have never left him alone with anyone except his daddy and even this was only on 3 occasions. So this was a massive deal for me - as I imagine it is for most mummies. I feel completely confident leaving my baby in the care of the staff at Spring Nursery Cedars. He is now not crying when I leave him, in fact, the last time I dropped him off he walked in and did a dance. His confidence has grown as has his mobility and speech. I see pictures of him playing with other babies and getting cuddles from the staff. On a daily basis I get information on what he has eaten when he has slept and had his nappy changes - this keeps me going when I'm at work - I love knowing what he is doing. The food at the nursey is all homemade and healthy. When my partner pics our baby up he always get a wee overview of what he has done on that day. I feel the staff care about my baby and I feel happy and confident leaving him in their care.
