Everything about the nursery is great, and massively appreciate the updates via the app, especially with the pictures and the commentary about how our son is doing. Reason for not 5 stars is our son comes home with nappy rash too often.

Our little one loves attending King Street. It's been so lovely to see him growing confidence since starting, and we cannot thank the staff enough. His key workers have always been kind and considerate, and communication with us has been brilliant. The manager is approachable and has always responded quickly to any queries we've had. We love the range of activities they do, and especially that they have been learning different languages! We would 100% recommend.

Our son has attended this nursery since he was in the baby room. We have watched him grow into a lovely little lad all thanks to the wonderful staff at King Street. From the managers to the room staff, cook & cleaners, everyone always makes a fuss of the children and parents are kept up to date with the happenings of the day. Location is perfect for those working in the city centre too! We will miss him attending the nursery when he goes off to big school but are so very grateful to the team at King Street for all that they have done for our son. Thank you! :)

My daughter loves her days at nursery as did my son before her. The staff are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. They provide a brilliant variety of activities. The building has a lovely scale and feels more like a home than an institution. I would warmly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a joyful and caring environment for their little one.

We have loved King Street for our daughter who was there for 2 years ages 2-4. The staff are well trained, caring and thoughtful and the admin staff are really on it, responding quickly and considerately. The newly refurbished garden is excellent and there are frequent trips to Queens Square when the weather allows. Thoroughly recommend!

The staff are caring and lovely. My child is always happy when it's one of his days to go to nursery! Location is perfect, very convenient! We highly recommend to anyone looking for a centrally located nursery.

Have had children at King Street since 2020 and both our son and daughter have thrived. The staff are caring and set up great activities each day, encouraging them with colours, numbers etc if they are interested in joining in. When my son was struggling with transitions his key person made such an amazing effort to build his confidence and he is now much more settled. All the staff are genuinely caring, engaged with the children and make so much effort to ensure the children are thriving and developing. The outside space is limited but the new renovation has really improved it and my son loves the new water play. Couldn't imagine them anywhere else.

We had a great experience with the King Street Nursery. The staff were fantastic, really attentive to our children and always happy to answer our questions and provide updates for our children's progress, activities and their day in general. The facilities were clean and the programme always included enough opportunities for play learning, progression, skill building and their wellbeing.

We are very happy here, it took my son a while to get used to nursery, but he now loves it. Everyone is very lovely to him and knows him by name and he keeps getting greeted when we are on our way out. He enjoys the food and the new garden!

A really friendly and professional team who are always more than happy to help. My daughter loves nursery and has developed so much since starting last year. The management team have always been thorough, timely and clear.

We could not be happier with King Street nursery. Our son quite literally runs up to the door in delight every morning and when we go to pick him up is having the best fun with friends that he has made and the resources in the room. All the staff at the nursery are kind and caring, whilst speaking to our son in an un-patronising and adult manner, which has really given him the encouragement to develop and appreciate various situations. Whilst we appreciated that sending our son to nursery in the city centre would ultimately mean that there would be a smaller outside space available for the kids, the nursery take every opportunity to visit parks and go on outings to the local farms/museums/soft play, which (so far as I am aware) nurseries with larger outdoor spaces do not cater for or provide - giving him the absolute best of both worlds. It's a joy dropping our son off in the morning knowing he is going to have a brilliant day.

Friendly, caring and lovely staff. They are very professional. My kid is happy there. He has developed a connection with other staff, like the cleaner and other workers apart from his key person. The manager is running the nursery very well. If I have any issue/question they respond promptly and helpful. Handover info about my kid’s day is clearly communicated and I have an app to get details about his development. Even when the nursery is small they ensure the kids go outside (if permitted) and they have created a fun area in their small indoor garden.

Highly recommend Kings Street Nursery. My son has the best time when there and is developed so much since joining. The staff are so friendly and I have been impressed with how much care they give each child. Would recommend it to anyone.

The staff are fantastic. Ultimately you want to know they understand your child and are looking out to make sure they have a good day and this is the experience I’ve had here. Our child started at 1 in the littlest room and her love of the staff and her time there demonstrate how they’ve delivered a great experience for her. Many of the staff are energetic and enthusiastic and this helps hugely when things aren’t going to plan with your child on a given day! The nursery manager does a fantastic job of running things well and in an organised fashion.

The staff at King Street are exceptional. My two children have both attended this nursery (one still does) and they are so interested in getting to know your children, finding out their ways, knowing their favourite games/toys etc. It really seems like they (the children and the staff) have fun, and the children learn so many skills in the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

Amazing, wonderfully friendly staff. I really feel comfortable knowing my second child (22 months) is as happy at King Street as his older sister was. He happily enters the room at the start of the day and is in no rush to leave at the end, instead showing me the things he’s been playing with. The food seems great, and a good healthy variety that No 2 child (age order, not preference!) always polishes off. The outside space is small (but recently revamped) but the staff also take the children out and about whenever staff ratios allow. Opening hours are very useful for us - we use the entirety of the 0700-1800 day. Overall, would highly recommend King Street.

Absolutely love this nursery! The staff are all so positive, great with ideas and seeing how comfortable my son is when I leave him makes it so much easier. It is a shame about the outside space but they come up with such creative activities throughout the day that he doesn't seem to mind so much. What is so lovely about this nursery is every time you walk in, you are greeted with a hello and a smile by all staff members even if they are not the staff that look after your child. Great atmosphere, great staff and happy child!

King Street Nursery is a lovely nursery. The staff seem dedicated and they are very kind to my daughter. She has been very happy there for the past eighteen months. There is very limited outside space which is the main downside for me but I am grateful that the staff often take the children out to the park and garden or elsewhere for some fresh air.

We have loved King Street for our daughter who was there for 2 years ages 2-4. Absolutely love this nursery! The staff are all so positive, great with ideas and seeing how comfortable my son is when I leave him makes it so much easier.
